This week Nintendo brought us a lengthy Nintendo Direct; it clocked in at 45 minutes and included four 'showcase' segments and quickfire headline sections. Covering both 3DS and Switch, it packed in a lot of announcements.
As expected there were some new announcements, a few slightly out of left-field, along with details on familiar games and amiibo. Super Mario Odyssey, unsurprisingly, had the big finale, and it seemed particularly impressive. id Software's announcements were show-stealers, arguably, as they represent relatively recent and future multi-platform big-hitters heading to the Switch - it'll be fascinating to see how DOOM turns out in the Holiday season.
Of course, a lot happened, so for those of you catching up here is our traditional big summary with links to all of our news articles, along with the videos to catch up on the full broadcasts and trailers.

I think everyone knows my feelings on this Direct by now. Overall it was poor, very few new announcements, Bethesda somewhat rescued it with Doom and Wolfenstein II. Super Mario Odyssey looks fantastic but we already knew that. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 looks terrific too. But after that? Dragon Quest Builders is nice. I'm speaking about the Switch, don't care about 3DS. Even though I've the Special Edition of Samus Returns on the way to me in the post as I speak.
You could talk as much about what wasn't shown as what was. No talk of Virtual Console, no talk of online, no new 1st party games, no sign of rumoured achievements, no Zelda DLC footage, etc. It largely showed what we already knew and gave us some release dates.
I would have liked some more new stuff shown off but overall I thought it was a great presentation from Nintendo.
Bethesdas support sure was a surprise
Actually i was quite disappointed for No Animal Crossing for Switch & No USA version at first launch of Girls Mode 4 3DS
Oh, well...
Maybe Animal Crossing will have their own Direct someday...
Overall, I was Fascinated by 3D camera for Super Mario Odyssey.
DOOOOOOOOM
Super summary.
I enjoyed the Direct a lot and the announcement of Doom etc... surpassed my expectations for third party support. I'm still not sure Switch owners will buy these games.
Overall a great window into what's coming before Christmas.
Nothing really interested me except for the new Dillon's Rolling Western. I'd like some news on that for the West at see point.
I can't really complain though. Metroid is coming tomorrow, and that is all I need.
I hate the "Headlines" format and there were a lot of good games covered but no major surprises. It's hard to get excited about something in a Direct when Nintendo barely covers it!
Yeah it was not good
But Was surprised that many game are coming on 3DS but nothing that good except fire emblem and metroid
Doom and fire emblem is all good
But still don't like this mario game looks to be the first one I won't get
There s nothing I like that much
Just hope that Nintendo have more game news very soon
Good: More 3rd party support
Bad: No Zelda DLC
No decent Switch bundles
I guess it's official. No third party support. The Switch is NintenDOOMed. Don't understand any negativity here; I'm very happy with the Bethesda support; Octopath looks great (new Square Enix IP exclusively for Switch - seriously, how can anyone whinge about that?); DQ Builders is not for me, but I get it has a big market; and Phantasy Star Online is a big deal, even if it never gets out of Japan.
And amid the first-party stuff, Xenoblade and SMO still both look incredible.
Really, I'm not sure what more people are looking for here. Were we expecting all of Sony's and Microsoft's studios to announce they are switching to Nintendo? We have Bandai Namco, Capcom (more or less), Squeenix, Bethesda and Rockstar all giving some love to a system that is still just six months old.
My only disappointment was the Nintendo arcade stuff; it seems fine, but I'd prefer a virtual console. That message just doesn't seem to be registering yet with Kyoto, though.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE You're pretty hard to please...
I am disgusted by the Direct. Nothing of interest. No Smash 5, no Metroid Prime 4 footage. Where was Bayonetta 3? Or Pokemon on the Switch? And is it too much to ask for a Mario Odyssey 2 announcement?????
Also, Nintendo. WHERE IS THE HD GAMECUBE LIBRARY???? And you better not be thinking of charging me again for these games.
Garbage. All of it.
Edit: this is a joke!
It was a fun watch. It was fast-paced (except for the Xenoblade 2 part) and full of variety, but there wasn't much in the way of new content. I'm not complaining, though. I already have way too much to play this year and beyond.
Super Mario Oddesy is shaping up to be the game I've been waiting over a decade for, really hyped for that one and the 27th October simply cannot come soon enough.
A few nice surprises with Doom etc but other than Mario there wasn't anything majorly interesting to me. the 3DS was dead to me a long time ago so that first 10 minutes didn't interest me at all.
Why is nobody reporting on NBA 2K? I pre-ordered the game and was told I'd get it Sept 15, then last week I got an email that says I won't get it until Oct 17 then I'm told Sept 15 digitally if you preorder it and Sept 19 digitally if you don't preorder it but how do I pre-order a digital game?
Are there things I wanted to hear about and didn't? OF COURSE.
But everything Switch related was awesome! Mario and Xenoblade look great. The Bethesda support is cool. That Octopath game looks interesting too.
The 3DS stuff... Well I don't really want to play my 3DS anymore. Everytime I try to go back and play it I just think "why aren't these games on Switch, why am I playing this when I have a Switch?" None of the games they announced for 3DS really hooked me enough to warrant playing them on such a outdated, but not retro, system. I will get Pokemon, because I always do, but that's it there.
@JamesR Entitled, much? Metroid and Pokémon have just begun development. They even said at E3 that we won't see anything about the Switch Pokémon until next year. I don't know if you're aware, but games take time to develop. Smash games alone are in development for nearly five years at a time. You seem only interested in instant gratification, and you're bound to be disappointed again and again.
EDIT: After re-reading your comment, I think you might have been joking. If so, congrats on being a very convincing troll...
@Krillin_ regarding the Nintendo arcade stuff. I think these are being developed by Hamster. I wouldn't be surprised if they approached Nintendo given the success of the Neo Geo games.
I'm certain that NERD are working on VC emulation. The SNES mini seems to have delayed the VC (whether due to resources or marketing) but I would give almost anything to get VC on Switch soon.
@thesilverbrick that post was a joke.
@Krillin_ The thing I'm missing most with the Nintendo Arcade stuff is the Nintendo Arcade games that we'd actually really want to see. Mario Bros. is a good game, it's great to see a port of Punch Out and Super Mario Bros (whatever version) is a staple of any gaming diet but no-one really wants to play the non-Iwata programmed arcade version of Balloon Fight or any version of Ice Climber.
The arcade machines that Nintendo is synonymous with are Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. I know there are potential legal issues there but I think those are a. rumours, b. minor obstacles that can be overcome.
I'd also like to see the gorgeous Popeye arcade game.
@JamesR Right after I replied I realized as much. Sorry. I'm so used to ridiculousness around here, haha.
I liked the Direct. Sure there weren't that many new games, but it was great to get lots of juicy details on the upcoming games.
with some important dates not announced yet i feel like this wasnt all they wanted to show us, there could very well be a direct in a few months again.
this direct was very impportant nonetheless never exected doom and wolfentein
@SLIGEACH_EIRE There's just no pleasing some people. Correct me if I'm wrong but the Switch has only been out for 6 months. Why does everyone want everything announced all at once? Sony are known for doing that with games then not releasing for another 3 years,whats the point in that? I'm sure the online stuff will come and may well be surprisingly good. The Switch isn't perfect by any means but has will have a great software lineup for its first year ,and when you compare it to how the WiiU was doing in the same timeframe? Its night and day..........
@SLIGEACH_EIRE
Need more Salt for your saltiness ?
That Direct was quite impressive despite of lack some important things.
You don't know Two Words for Nintendo : THANK YOU.
@thesilverbrick no problem. The Direct was what it was - an update on games coming in the next few months and why buying a Switch for Christmas (they are likely to sell 5m of these between now and then) is a good idea. A few games from 2018 were showed (like Wolvenstein and Octopath Traveler) mainly as a way to steady nerves of this being a Nintendo-only machine.
I would have loved VC and Zelda DLC details. Possibly Platinum could have had a secret game "ready to go" (like Doom). But expecting much else was always unrealistic (hence Smash 5)
I also think that we (as internet Switch nerds) might also underplay how much Nintendo needs to focus on ensuring Mario Odyssey is a success. It might be "old news" for us as we've been tracking it since January but this Direct's main job is to sell Mario Odyssey and Switch consoles.
Some of you are funny! Just because you decided there should be Gamecube VC on the Switch doesn't mean they're going to present it to you in this Direct. Just keep your expectations in check! Enjoy the show and don't speculate or expect ANYTHING. You'll be a lot happier that way.
(I remember getting pissed off after every Nintendo Direct about 4 years ago, because they didn't announce SNES or GBA on 3DS.. I learned my lesson )
@Anti-Matter Thank you Nintendo.......for saving me money for another while.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE
I think your biggest disapointment is not being able to complain about "no 3rd party games planned".
The Snipperclips DLC is very much welcome, so is the new Mario Party, and Project Octopath Traveler looks great !
The presentation was great. That's it.
But somehow I know that I'll be reading soon "it was a crap, they didn't announce GTA V for Nintendo Switch what a shame". "Hey UBI where is watch dogs 2 c'mon"
@Tibob No 3rd party support is still a valid claim. Do you think Bethesda's announcement last night solves everything? It's 2 games, 1 a port, most of Switch's 3rd party games are ports.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE You complain about the lack of third-party support as if it's something new. I don't know if you've noticed, but major third-party publishers have largely been giving Nintendo the cold shoulder for the past 20 years or so.
The DOOM / Wolf2 thing seems like a real commitment of effort from Bethesda. The minimum PC requirements for those things have got to be way above what the Tegra X1 can cope with, so they've surely got to be recreating a whole new set of lower res graphical assets just for the Switch.
Very encouraging that a studio like Bethesda thinks that would be a profitable move.
The direct was alright and super mario oddysse saves it slightly
@SLIGEACH_EIRE
WHAT ?!
You still called 3rd Party Ports = Not a 3rd Party support ?!
Are you Nuts ?!
Looking forward to Doom and wolfenstein, will be great to play them on a console that doesn't turn into a huey every time i use it as anything more than a web browser rendering all dialogue superfluous.
To everyone expressing disappointment: I think you need to temper your expectations a bit. We didn't ask for this Direct, but we got it, with a whole tonne of information along with a demo for a game not due until 2018!
If this were E3, then sure, I'd understand your disappointments a bit more - but that's because we know E3 comes every year, so there's plenty of opportunity to hype ourselves up.
But when a Direct comes virtually out of the blue? I really don't know what you're expecting from that.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE
Well I've asked you many times but you never anser me : what 3rd party games do you want on the system ? You keep talking about it like we're missing out on great stuff, but I don't see that.
@Stryker89
Thanks for your Prep Talk for us.
I will wait for another Nintendo Direct someday.
This is why it's always good to keep expectations in check. I usually go into directs with the limited fact that there might be one or two surprises. Alas, that's exactly what we got. Overall this was a main marketing push to get them into the Xmas period, so it was mostly games we've seen a dozen times over. Nice to see Xenoblade and Skyrim finally get a date, and Wolfenstein/Doom were pleasant surprises. I really hope people buy these, so that developers see that there's a healthy market for all kinds of games, family and mature alike.
Nah, it was pants. Switch is terrible, Reggie is a stooge and Nintendo are going down in flames.
I know, because that Irish guy told me so.
@Anti-Matter You're welcome.
@Iggy-Koopa
Excuse me ?!
I don't think the Direct was terrible.
I'll reiterate what I posted on the Skyrim article:
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Super Mario Odyssey, Rocket League, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Skyrim , L.A. Noire, Doom, Resident Evil Revelation 1&2, Wolfenstein 2, Worms W.M.D., Stardew Valley - this is the list for all my day one buys. Even with the games I've played before (which is surprisingly only three from that list), it's worth it to double dip on the quality titles for the portability factor alone.
Then there's the wait and see with high probability: Battle Chasers Nightwar, Morphie's Law, Dragon Quest Builders, Nine Parchments, Rime, Lost Sphear, Octopath Traveller, Yono, Mulaka, and Travis Strikes Again. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few as well.
I guess my point is, not only is the game lineup for the Switch absolutely stellar at the moment, I can only imagine what's in the works for next year alone considering the immense 3rd party support we're beginning to see. Sure, some of these games are remakes or ports, but a lot of them aren't. With a healthy mix of great old games Nintendo fans might have missed or just want the ability to play on the go and a great lineup of original games coming by the end of the year or early next, Switch owners will have no shortage of great games to play anywhere and anyhow they want for a good while. Just my opinion 😉
@Brett_aint_dead
Preach. I fully understand the initial saltiness by getting burned by the Wii U. At some point though, these people need to get over it, otherwise they're gonna miss out on some awesome games. Their loss if they just can't move on.
Overall I thought the direct was good. I guess I don't know what people were expecting. It's not like they were going to have new game after new game. There were a few new games in there and I'm really excited that Doom and Wolfenstein are coming to the switch.
@Anti-Matter I think your sarcasm detector may be broken.
@Iggy-Koopa lol
no new titles, that's ok so plenty coming still ^^
"Mario Party: The Top 100"
@ThomasBW84 No biggy, but it looks like you've overlooked Kirby: Star Allies in the Switch list.
I mean, I say 'no biggy', but c'mon... it's Kirby
Bethesda and 2K are pulling out the big guns which is positive.
Mario Odyssey blows me away every time they show another trailer - of particular interest this time are 1) the sheer amount of power moons on each level (they're like stars combined with blue coins) and 2) there appear to be paintings in each world that warp you to the other worlds. In this way I assume every world is kind of like a "hub world"
Doom is coming to Switch. Wolfenstein II is coming to Switch. For FPS fans (like myself), this is all we needed to make this direct a smashing success.
Might pick up Skyrim just to show early support to Bethesda, though I have a hard time envisioning myself dumping a lot of hours into it. I mean, Xenoblade is just around the corner...
I felt mildly disappointed, if only because I thought they spent too much time on Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I mean, it looks like a great game, but for people who are not interested in it, the length of time spent on it was a real buzz killer.
The biggest surprise for me was the DOOM/Wolfenstein II announcement. The fact that these M-rated games are coming to a Nintendo system is a great sign, and a company such as Bethesda showing confidence in the Switch with more releases beyond the Skyrim port is a major notable event.
I think the third parties are slow to come back to Nintendo, but they appear to be coming, and even if you aren't a DOOM fan, that is always a good thing.
Anybody looking to buy anything from last night, Gamestop (US) has a bunch of stuff available for pre-order.
http://www.gamestop.com/browse?nav=16k-3-nd91317,28zu0
Nintendo is getting very good at marking their stuff up - or maybe it's just Gamestop, hard to tell from just 1 website. The $149 New 2DS XL is $159 for the Pokeball version, an extra $10, and the $69 Pro controller is $75 for the XC2 version. According to GS the $380 Switch SMO bundle does come w/ a screen protector, which if true helps on the price, but I haven't seen a screen protector mentioned anywhere else.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE you're a pretty popular guy in this site hahaha.
the direct for me was good, I mean, Mario's nipples, doom, DQ builders, radiant historia!!! but I missed some smash and my much anticipated tales of game and SMT (5?)
Overall it was a quality direct......I thought the XBC2 segment was slow and took away some of the pacing, but there were a decent amount of surprises for both 3DS and Switch owners considering the Direct stated it would be about games coming in the next few months.
SMO looks incredible and Octopath's demo is amazing in my opinion. The art direction for XBC2 has me confused though. Seems like they are trying to mix realistic & cartoon and Im just not sure what to think. I'm sure the game will be good but I'm disappointed by the look? Or just confused by it? XBC and XBCX were both great so I will withhold judgement on it.
Never been so bored during a Nintendo Direct...
Not sure what people were expecting. The big reveals will always be in the January Direct and at E3. Everywhere else, there will usually only be 1 or 2, if that. And considering that, I think the Direct was pretty darn good.
It was a good direct for hyping the next couple of months. 2017 is amazing. Not a soul here can complain
My most wanted list is now mainly a third-party part list: LA Noire, Fifa 18, Skyrim and now DOOM and Wolfenstein 2.
I sincerely think those games are gonna be big sellers on the system as well.
I still don't know why, but I'm less hyped about Xenoblade Chronicles 2 now. Somehow I felt it was just more of the same.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE
Why do you care if they're ports? Because you don't care enough about third-party games to buy another Console that has them they're all new games to you.
Switch fans have been very angry after the Direct. It's hilarious!
@GrailUK If I had a Switch, I surely would be complaining also. Luckily, I don't have one! And after this Direct, there's zero reason to consider one.
A whole lot of nothing (new).
Well except for those two shooters that I don't need. But well, maybe they'll attract a new audience.
Don't like to be so negative, but this Direct was really superflous in my opinion.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE
For once I actually agree with you. Perhaps I set my expectations too high, but I felt like they didn't have enough new announcements and rehashed over too much known stuff (especially since we just had the Nindie showcase). Likewise, for the most part, I don't feel like it's a good use of time when they have these directs where they spend a TON of time talking about the nitty gritty of a particular game. In this case, they had two: Pokemon and XC2. I'm sure both will be great games, but it really slowed down the pace.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Your sourness. It is. Intoxicating. You are so mad about Wii U, arent you? God damn..
Woke up this morning with my head sewn to the carpet and was slightly less surprised about that than the DOOM and Wolfenstein reveals.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE look at the bright side. You know life is pretty good when not seeing what you want to see in a Nintendo Direct is actually a concern for you.
I really didn't have any expectations, and wasn't demanding to see anything. Watched the direct, and was satisfied with what I saw. To people complaining about ports: Games aren't made that fast. If all you want is new games, then expect to have long periods of time without any content being released on the Switch. But then you'll complain that the Switch is dead. To people complaining about the lack of new 1st party game announcements: it's highly likely that one more direct will be coming before 2017 ends. With SMO and XC2 released by that time, what do you think Nintendo will announce? Of course their other games coming in 2018. So be patient and wait until then. Hope you all enjoy the upcoming games this year.
No mention of YW2: Psychic Specters, but in light of the glut of other information, I'll let that slide.
Yesterday's Direct exceeded my expectations. We got some Ultra Sun/Moon info (not as much as I'd like), a release date for Skyrim on the Switch (finally!), and some neat surprises (DOOM, Wolfenstein, etc.). Add in a game that's returned to my radar (Xenoblade Chronicles 2) and another that's now on my radar (Project Octopath Traveler), and that leaves me plenty to be excited about!
Great Direct! So much to be excited about. I feel they nailed it. I want those Mario Joycon. Downloaded the Octopath Traveler Demo. Doom and Wolfenstein II? Crazy reveal for Switch. I'll have them both I'm sure. And Hamster doing Nintendo's Arcade Archives??? Phantasy Star Online? Wtf, how did I miss that? I just want it all. Just all of it. Sry kids, daddy's gonna be broke the next two Christmases.
Pretty solid for a September Direct. The absence of the DLC for Zelda and Mario + Rabbids was odd. Also felt that they should have extended it by another minute in order to highlight DB Xenoverse 2, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, and maybe Nights of Azure 2.
Doom and Wolfenstein were major surprises that nobody saw coming. DQ Builders was a nice surprise too.
Octopath Traveler looks beautiful. Looking forward to playing the demo.
Kirby Star Allies looks great and Buff Dedede was a highlight of the Direct.
Anyways, I do think we'll get another Direct in early-mid November that gives us a better look at early 2018, as well as giving dates for the things that were missing in this Direct.
Oh, and we still have the NWC next month for that Smash or Mario Maker announcement
I would love a Rex Amiibo. Seriously - I'd go crazy for that.
This was a direct hit for me… Doom, Wolfenstein 2, and Arena of Valor are all great surprises.
The direct was mediocre overall. Bethesda doing more games on Switch, Super Mario Odyssey and those new ultra beasts for Pokémon are a highlight, but there is not a whole lot of new and that Xenoblade 2 section hurts my soul
Nintendo: This direct will cover 3ds and Switch games coming in the next few months
Nintentards: WHERES MUH ANIMAL CROSSING AND SMASH AND F ZERO AND MOTHER 3.
Sheesh guys the direct was exactly what Nintendo said it would be, but the AC and Smash community love to set themselves up for disappointment. First of all Smash Bros in an E3 reveal, not a ND reveal, second of all if Animal Crossing is coming (which i'm sure it is) it wont be until late next year at the least. They're trying to cover whats coming THIS YEAR and give us a snippet of what's early coming next year. Honestly just wait for the inevitable December or January direct. On the contrary, I am shocked at the lack of VC still but I understand that the SNES Classic needs to sell, and I'm definitely intrigued by the ACA Nintendo Series. Odyssey and Xenoblade looked great as always. The Project Octopath Demo is great. Lola Pop is great. Haven't touched Splatoon 2 since mid August, disappointed in FE Warrior's Roster but getting it nonetheless because I love Warrior Games and October 20 is my birthday. Dragon Quest Builders and DOOM are exicting! Didn't like the first Wolfenstein so not interested in 2. Only 3DS stuff I cared for was the Pokemon Stuff (Have Gold and Ultra Sun preordered) and wow that Pokeball New 2DS is sexy. Overall a good direct, they could have shortened the time they spent on Xenoblade Chronicles 2 though.
I enjoyed it, although I've little interest in Pokemon and even less interest in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. And that voice over for XC2 seemed a bit out of place too.
But the middle was great. I didn't watch the Odyssey section, but threw it a few quick glances and saw some great stuff. That game has to rival the Galaxy games on Metacritic.
Was hoping for a surprise to be available right after the Direct, but will settle for the Octopath demo.
3DS got some big luvin' 😋
There was a lack of new stuff, and honestly the showcased games like Pokemon, Xenoblade 2 and Mario Odyssey I would've gotten anyway.
Octopath Traveler finally getting a more indepth reveal (and the awesome demo that followed) were by far the best thing about this direct in my eyes.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE you can complain all you like about Nintendo not announcing virtual console or any new games. Nintendo will announce all those things when they're ready and you need to be patient.
@JamesR complain all you like. Is too early for Nintendo to show footage of metroid prime 4 as it's a title that was recently announced. You guys who are complaining about the direct and expected new announcements are dumbasses. You should be patient and wait until Nintendo is ready to announce them.
@JamesR I just realised you were making a joke. Haha.
Don't forget we will probably get a Direct in December to highlight the games for the first quarter of 2018
@SLIGEACH_EIRE agreed, Nintendo is clearly doomed. xD
I wasn't surprised really, they won't give us next years updates til this years big titles are out of the way; they don't want to risk reducing hype for the current games. My biggest dissapointment was no OS news.... I hope they push out some more features this year.
Nintendo is the only company this year where E3 just wasn't big enough to hold everything. They had enough to say to space things out.
I've got so much I want to play that's coming up, I'm not sure how I'll fit it all in. Metroid 3DS, Redoubt, Odyssey, Marioparty, LA Noire, Pokemon Ultra and Pokemon Gold, Revelations 2, Skyrim, DOOM, Brawlout, Hollow Knight, Steep, Towerfall Ascension, Xenoblade Chronicles...and that's just the releases for the next 3 months.
Any date or info at all for Golf Story?
This was definitely a nice Nintendo Direct, I am quite pleased.
Does anyone know....is @Mahe posting from another dimension or an alternate timeline? It could be either with that grasp of reality.
@FiveDigitLP
"Perhaps I set my expectations too high"
Many Nintendo fans often do*. They were very clear what this Direct would be about-games for the rest of the year. And they have a lot so they concentrated on that.
*See also-almost everyone before E3
I enjoyed it, but because I didn't watch live I was able to skip the stuff that didn't interest me. And avoided all the spoilers from the Mario Odyssey section, I'm going in that one fresh!
@Mahe
I didn't angry after watched that Direct.
I felt quite disappointed but I believe another Direct will reveal more new games.
While waiting for next new games, I can enjoy the games that I get right now.
Nintendo be like "we way up in the big league now boy".
Man, some people are REALLY dedicated to hating on Nintendo. My mind was officially blown by Doom on Switch, to say nothing of Wolfenstein II. After Skyrim, I really thought Bethesda might "support" the Switch with an old Fallout port or something (not that I would hate that, but you know...) I was totally not expecting a Doom port. This instantly shot up to the top of my wish list. I still want Skyrim but Doom has surpassed it.
"No third party support", my butt. Some people would keep on bleating this sad refrain if Halo, Overwatch, God of War and Forza all put their latest version on the Switch.
There are officially more great games coming to Switch than i can afford to buy, or will have time to play. I have to choose now. Bad Nintendo!!
Nintendo should make HD remakes of their classic nes and snes games
@SLIGEACH_EIRE 😑 You realize you're asking for too much, right. While it's dumb that there's still no virtual console, it actually makes sense because the SNES Classic is coming out soon, and that needs to sell. They didn't announce DLC for Zelda, because they announced AMIIBOS.
The presentation was great. To all those negative brats out there, you can't expect everything in year 1. It takes time. The PS4 wasn't the PS4 it is now in year 1 obviously. Wait and see. As for this presentation, we got some really great games coming up. Even though Doom is a port it proves that Besthesda is serious about the Switch because they never released even a port for other Nintendo systems recently. And then we have the usual Indies, a type of games I dislike to some extent but there were many who liked it. And I for a non indie believer was really interested in some of the great games they put up. When someone gives us something we accept it gracefully and not hate on it 'just because there's no ____ revealed or no ____ details given'.
