@WeltraumDreamer Don't let lack of language ability stop you from visiting a new place. No one expects tourists here to speak a word of Japanese. (before covid times) thousands of people a day arrived in Japan with no Japanese ability and had a wonderful time. It's an amazing country to visit, if you have the means sometime you really should give it a visit. Don't stress about it too much, it's a fun experience, I promise.

Its a pretty neat exploit. For those who don't want to watch, basically you put software on a SD stick, stick it into the Wii's USB port. Then you get a system running linux with a bluetooth dongle (a raspberry pie will do) and run a script on it. Then fire up the Wii without any controllers synced, hit the "sync" button so it syncs with the Linux box and it uses a bluetooth exploit to pull software off the USB stick and install it onto the Wii.

From there you are somewhat limited on what you can install, but it will boot games and software from the USB port, so it's usable on the high seas.

honestly, too many options has paradoxically made gaming less enjoyable. I used to get lost in games when I was a kid, for months at a time. I'd learn every little thing, and learn to love the content. Now I just feel lost trying to even decide what to play. and that's once I've gotten through all the other media I have available at every moment of my life. I miss the feeling of being bored.
