Video game journalist and presenter, Geoff Keighley, has announced a new event for the Summer Games Fest. It's called Netflix Geeked and is a special event - featuring news, trailers and reveals about shows and films based on popular games.
The Witcher season two is expected to make an appearance, but what else might we see? Resident Evil and The Cuphead Show might also be present. As noted in the announcement below, it'll be streaming on 11th June.
Geeked Week runs from 7th June through to the 11th June, and there will be various other series showcased over the course of the event. The Netflix gaming segment will air just ahead of the Koch Media live stream on the same day.
What video game series would you like to see adapted into Netflix series? Anything in particular? Leave your thoughts below.

I thought Summer Game Fest was about games, not crappy adaptations.
I quit Netflix years ago. With everyone and their 3rd cousins starting their own streaming services, Netflix was rapidly losing a lot of content I wanted.
Only services I still use are Crunchyroll and Funimation. Thankfully anime hasn't been divided up among more than those two for the most part. Netflix gets a very small handful of exclusive anime every now and then. But mostly I can live without them.
@TheAwesomeBowser completely agree
Netflix has gone to woke. All of their stuff is nothing but crap anymore.
@Dirty0814 Was there some sort of era where Netflix only had ‘non-political’ stuff? Like I dunno, Ice Road Truckers or whatever the chodes watch.
Summer Game Fest indeed
I think the only thing I watch on Netflix these days is Red Dwarf, in fact I barely watch TV shows on anything anymore. I'm not more likely to watch something because its based on a game either as to me they are 2 completely different and largely incompatible forms of entertainment. I enjoy playing games, turning it into an 8 hour cutscene with no gameplay isn't fun
@carlos82 "Red Dearf"??
It would be nice to get some new Info on that Cuphead animated show. Netflix is really terrible when it comes to everything that isn't anime or animated shows.
@HannahRPG haha, stupid phone
@carlos82 Buy the DVD and save the subscription lol.
How about some shows based on the NES/SNES online games that Nintendo is releasing for Switch Online? Nintendo seems to think these games are winners 😆
Possibly the cancelled Crash Bandicoot animated series getting picked back up? It would explain the cryptic teases by the voices of Crash and Cortex on social media.
@GrailUK I actually have it on DVD and it was the first thing I ever bought from Amazon. Netflix came as part of a package offer I got from Sky so I don't really pay for it anyway
Last of us, red dead redemption, Halo and the dark horse being Legend of Zelda are my bets.
Captain N the game master, movie 🤣
@bonsaibeard The Last of Us is being made by HBO
@Fiskern oh yeah! I forgot about that, cheers
Yuck i dislike this
based on my favorite games? looking forward to seeing how they adapt pocket card jockey to a tv series.
Would be nice to see some more announcements following the MillarWorld deal. I'm hopeful for a decent adaptation of Wanted and to hear when Jupiter's legacy season 2 can be expected.
I really liked the first Witcher Season. Looking forward to season 2!
Comment section, right on schedule as usual 🤣🤣
Finally, they might show off Sonic Prime

@Dirty0814 lmao seriously? You need to get politics off your brain my guy. Netflix isn’t more political than any other streaming service.
Cool, how about an Enter The Gungeon cartoon?
