Darius fans have got no end of options on Nintendo Switch. Having already seen two Cozmic Collections launch for both arcade and home console entries, it was announced last June that a third collection called Darius Cozmic Revelation would join the ranks, featuring G-Darius HD and Dariusburst: Another Chronicle EX+. We knew this re-release would include new features, and developer Taito has now confirmed what we can expect.

Outlined in a new press release, G-Darius contains several wallpapers to view whilst playing but, more notably, includes a new "Teatro 50 (EX)-Style Vibration" feature. Named after the arcade cabinet it ran on, this addition is designed to recreate vibrations that occurred during specific arcade scenes.

Dariusburst: Another Chronicle EX+ has a wider list of new features. Like G-Darius, it also features a new vibration option for your controller but with a larger focus on sound design, designed to replicate how it felt sitting in the original arcade unit. There's also a replay mode to view how top players earned their scores and a "Ghost Score Display" that plays back your previous performance.

Launching on February 25th in Japan, a Western release date is still unconfirmed at this time. It's worth noting that a physical print was announced back in September via Strictly Limited Games and currently, their store pages advise that Revelation is expected to ship around February/March.

For the collectors out there, pre-orders are still available too, so we're hoping to see this arrive soon.

Did you pick up the previous Darius collections? Will you be buying Revelations when it launches? Let us know in the comments.
