More Dragon's Dogma 2 info would be neat and maybe the rumoured next Monster Hunter game.

We need to stop trying to hype up every other monster collector that isn't pokemon as a "rival" or "killer" it's getting very old.
Pokemon at this point is way bigger than any game that'll come out and is now the biggest media franchise in the world, obviously no other will ever be big enough to take on it, trying to frame other "competitors" is just pure stupidity and delusion that spawns pointless articles like this one.

What we should we hoping is that the many alternatives to pokemon turn out to be good games instead of trying to paint them as something they're not.

This will probably hurt interest and sales, not the smartest decision from NIS.

People shouldn't be surprised that they aren't bothering to fix the performance issues of the game, it's GameFreak after all, not to mention they already got their moneys worth from their fans.

One of the most unpolished and rushed 1st party games ever is the 7th best selling Switch game, does that say more about the company who produced such a mess or the fans that bought it?

Now that the game is going to release soon those people that unironically thought that TOTK was going to release with new hardware can take their tinfoil hates off now.

Already beat Xenoblade Future Redeemed, but now I'm trying to 100% it.

I'm still deciding whether or not it's better than Torna as a dlc but Future Redeemed is indeed worth the time and money investment. It's one of the best dlcs I played and brings the Klaus saga to a satisfying conclusion.

Great theme but I can't myself to be nearly as interested in the game as I was in the first couple of months sadly.
The splatfests are the only thing bringing me back and even then I lose interest in them pretty fast.

Switch hardware sales are comfortable on top again, so hopefully that means less baseless speculation on new hardware.

Couldn't agree more, Torna basically meets the criteria for what every DLC should be and have.

• It expands the previous base games story and gives the main characters more depth while also diving into a new cast
• It introduces new gameplay mechanics in battles and on the field
• The new OST is arguable better than the original game
• The dlc also manages to look better than the base game as well as improve on issues the base game had, which are so refined to the point where the next installment of the franchises takes a lot of aspects from Torna

Before Torna came along I thought Octo expansion was one of the best DLC's I played but then Torna came along and blew it out of the water and setting new standards.

I hope Future Redeemed for XC3 lives up to the expectations set by Torna.

How is 40 hours an awful battery life lol.
Not to mention the joycon drift is 100 times worse.

Usually I'm not a fan of the box art being overly simplistic, but the Japanese art is so ugly I had no choice but to vote for Europe somehow.

I hope Nintendo at least reaches out to other studios besides illumination for their ips.
They can handle the more basic properties like Mario and Donkey kong but with the most complex ones like Metroid, Zelda, etc. it would be more ideal if they picked someone else.

Did not know him well if at all but I hope he rests in peace, his legacy won't be forgotten.

This list looks like you ranked most of the controllers based on nostalgia and not how they actually function or feel.
Because the SNES, Wii and especially the N64 controller aged like milk.
I also don't know why the Joycons are so high when they barely function either.

Here is how I would rank them personally:

1. Switch Pro - closest one to being perfect, it's comfy, has motion, NFC, HD humble, and a 72 hour battery but it's also prone to drift and the d-pad is mediocre
2. Wii classic pro controller - basically a slightly less refined switch pro controller and a little small but it serves it's purpose very well
3. Wii U pro controller - Comfy, sleek, very long battery life and motion controllers as well as a USB slot, but what holds this one back are the placement of the analog sticks being very awkward
4. Wii U game pad - surprisingly comfy but a bit too chunky for my taste, not to mention the worst battery life, analogy placements also tone it down
5. Gamecube - Probably the most overrated controller in existence, it can be comfortable but the analog sticks are stubby, has a lack of buttons and it cases a lot of hand cramps.
The reason it's used so much in competitive play is purely from nostalgia and routine, the pro controller is just as viable is not more.
6. Joycons - These barely work most of the time due to the garbage drift, even excluding that there too small for most people and the buttons are stiff and the analog sticks are TINY.
7. Wii + nunchuck - if it was just the wii mote on it's on it would be at the bottom of the list for obvious reasons. the combo is actually not that bad and kind of comfortable but the button placements and forced motion controls bring it down heavily
8. SNES - while it set the foundation for controllers it has not aged well and has too few buttons and is too small.
9. NES - same reasons for SNES controller but even worse
10. N64 - Possibly the worst designed controller ever, awkward button placement, cheap analog stick and handles designed for people with a third arm. Why people share any nostalgia for this controller baffles me and confuses me even more that they come back for more with the limited edition versions.

Going to finish postgame content for Xenoblade 3 in preparation for it's dlc.

From the first trailers the voicework from Pratt's part was absolute garbage, but upon seeing the movie it was actually a significant improvement to the point where I didn't mind him being in.

@SupaMayrio They usually start pumping out a few titles at a... pace, then they either slow down or the drip feeding stops completely.

Got to love all the wannable "analytics" saying that this is proof we're getting a Switch successor or that Nintendo should put out new hardware just because sales take a small dip.

Never mind the fact that for new console we know about it years in advance and months leading to it's actual release, but sure let's put on our tinfoil hats and act like the Switch 2 will release out of nowhere or even launching alongside Botw 2 like some people unironically claimed.

Well if I wanted to buy them I would get them from the eshop not from a random stranger on the internet who spends his spare time on forumns defending Nintendo.

Also it would be common sense to recommend people to hack their 3ds.
Why wouldn't you want to preserve every aspect of your console if given the option? Especially when the eshop servers are going to shut down soon.
It's not just about piracy either there are also tons of features you wouldn't get access to otherwise without hacking your 3DS so naturally people will promote those as well.

Reminder the eshop closing will not affect you if you hack your 3DS which is highly recommended.

Probably because the game has been dead for years and it's one of the most boring games to watch, especially competitively.
Doesn't help that the game is terrible either.

Japanese software sales are dominated by the Switch and hardware is only falling behind most likely due to stock issues (even then the sales are still very good), the PS5 has only been outselling recently, once Nintendo gets its supplies in order or even the next major game releases I guarantee you sales will skyrocket.
Not to mention releasing new hardware still makes no sense because:

• The switch is still very well
• The chip shortage is still a thing and releasing new hardware during a time it's harder to output makes absolutely no sense
• Nintendo themselves literally stated that the switch is in the middle of it's lifecycle and that they plan to support it longer than the average console lifespan.

So rip that Band-Aid off while it's still fresh we aren't getting a successor anytime soon and thinking otherwise is either wishful thinking or delusion.

Wave 3 looks alright but I'm waiting for the real part of the dlc being the story expansion.
Once that releases I'll buy the expansion and binge all the content.

I get this are user generated lists but these would actually feel insightful if the explanations actually went slightly more in depth than just being a basic description of the game.

I don't get why these articles are a thing especially since people who don't play the games are probably going to vote for them.

And this is one of the many reasons why the service is a ripoff still.

@GrailUK I don't get why you're saying exactly as if my reply proves your point, I was saying how it can matter a great deal for the people actually involved in the project.
It may not mean anything for you me or most people that play the games but anyone passionate about their craft will probably want to be credited appropriately.

@GrailUK I get what you're coming from and I don't read them either, but from their perspective if I was working on a project for months or even years that small acknowledgement would probably mean the world to be especially knowing if said project was a huge success.

And this is to no ones surprise for those with common sense.
People expecting a successor are going less (or none at all) on facts and moreso out of their personal want.
