I don't see anything wrong with the battle system, it's what makes Pokemon what it is. something simple at the surface but more deep as you familiarize yourself more with it.

I will be saddened if Nintendo completely drops touch screens, something they themselves pioneered when it came to touch based games with the DS.

I appreciate them looking ahead, and I do think the motion based controls of the Wii have run their course

but I don't want them to completely forget what made their games different and unique.
