If you're still glued to your phone playing Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp then the news that six (count 'em!) new villagers are being introduced should make your day - possibly even your entire week.
These new denizens all come with the "Hip" essence, and their arrival brings the total number of animals in the game to a whopping 61.
Here's the list of the new residents:
- Francine
- Bob
- Stitches
- Twiggy
- Merengue
- Pietro
Are you happy to see some new faces enter the game? Or did you stop playing weeks ago? Whatever your answer, make sure you post it below to tell us and the world.

I stopped playing a while ago but it's always nice to see new content being added. That clown though 😨
@Findonovan95
Man, what's the deal with him?! What an unholy, frothing, goblin - It's like Gacy moved into your pocket!
Pietro ?!
That Clown Sheep, again ?
Stitches and Bob are two of my faves! I don't play this filth though hehe
I saw Animal Crossing and got excited... then I saw it was the phone game.
I just don't enjoy sitting there playing games on a phone with only a touch screen. I still struggle to wrap my head around the fact that phone games are becoming more and more dominant. It makes me sad for gaming.
I remember when Pietro weaseled his way in to my village in New Leaf through StreetPass. I had to make his life a living hell to get him to think about leaving. But that process took 6 months. As soon as he left, I disconnected StreetPass from the game so as never to get him again. I don't like clowns. And I won't be invited him in to my camp.
Bob!
Still not available in my country, which is a bummer.
I like Stitches
Call me when it's Moose...
stitches
I remember in New Leaf, I have one of the rooms on the museum's second floor as a balloon room. Nice to know I can start on that again.
Still playing! And still zero money spent Have to collect all those seasonal / special event furniture! Although I kind of wish the game gave me a break from all the timed events for just a short while...
Anyway, I have level/stage 3 amenities in Natural, Cool and Cute (in addition to the Winter Sports amenity, natch!) Next stop: Rustic! The last one was going to be Sporty, but now there's Hip as well? In that case, there are still Japanese style furniture with the "Harmonious" category, but no amenities for those... Maybe in the future? That would be awesome!
Cool, but I stopped playing weeks ago. The grind just became too tedious for me, especially when trying to get items in the limited time events. That duck looks nice.
Can we all just agree that this game has improved considerably after the inclusion of Stitches?
