This game looks completely skippable. Shame, as Miku's actual rhythm games are brilliant.

Though I really enjoyed the games back on the DS, I'm going to skip these ports. As well as the pricing and lack of new features, I just can't see the map drawing mechanics working as well on the Switch.

@JustMonika thanks, I'd overlooked Loop8. That certainly looks brilliant judging by its trailer.

I'm definitely tempted by Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, but I'll likely wait and consider the reviews for it.

Switch Pro is my favourite out of these, though I would have preferred it to have a headphone jack. The audio quality on my built-in TV speakers is not great, so any half-decent headphones would sound better.

12/15, very fun quiz. The ones that tripped me up was the Ocarina one (didn't know it was a type of flute), Banjo-Kazooie (haven't played it before), and Earthbound (I'd forgotten that detail in that battle).

I hope the series continues and they make a new game. However, at that price point, I won't be buying the games again. They're going to struggle to attract new players with that price.

My old copy of Pokemon Sun is a little iffy with detecting the game cartridge, so my pokemon will probably be safer in Bank.

Still, it's nice that they kept this going for free. I wouldn't have been surprised if they had chosen to shut it down instead.

Edit: I've just checked, and I'm also getting that Pokemon Transporter error. Bank works fine on my end though.

3 I think. I probably started off with a regular 3DS XL, then upgraded to a New 3DS XL, which was a lovely Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate themed version. Later I got a new New 3DS XL once the previous one was showing signs of its age. That one's still going strong, though I had to replace the circle pad recently.

Sounds great, certainly one I'd enjoy. It's weird that there's been very little mention or marketing of this game though. Outside of a few glowing reviews such as this one, I've barely seen anything about this game.

Layton is the big one for me, but I'm also very excited for Decapolice.

As for Fantasy Life, I did very much enjoy the 3DS game, but I'm somewhat hesitant on Fantasy Life i. This one seems to focus more on only one town on one island, so I'm not sure whether exploration will be that great.

So far, it sounds like they have everything I possibly could have asked for in a new Layton game. Very excited for this.

This game is excellent, I had a lot of fun with it. There's a lot of variety in the mini-games, and has a great mix of old and new games.

That sounds cheap in comparison to how pricey some rhythm games can get. There's various recent examples of rhythm games that have a higher base price, and then contain a lot of paid DLC packs.

I just use my name. If the developers wanted to keep his name as Link, then they wouldn't have made the name editable.

Fi's at the bottom of my personal list. She's quick to interrupt with useless comments, but doesn't say anything useful when I'm stuck. Plus I detested her use of percentages. Statements with an 80% or 90% probability should end up being wrong occasionally, but instead she was always correct when she used those numbers.

And I might get some flack for this, but I've always had a soft spot for Navi.

The price does seem a bit steep, especially if there's little in the way of new content. I liked the originals, but probably won't double dip with this collection.

It was too long ago for me to remember. However. I booted up the game and checked. Turns out Nowi was my pick.

Though it's unlikely to happen, I'd sure like to see Rare Replay be released on Switch.

It's good that it's finally available to play on a modern console, though I still don't plan on buying a year's worth of the online expansion subscription. If the game was available to purchase separately, then I would have been eager to buy it.

I was a bit too obsessed with collecting them back in the initial Smash series era, but I'm clean now. Haven't bought one in years.

It's a great game, but it could certainly benefit from a port with improved graphics and a better control scheme.

New variants are nice, but I'm not going to find it fun to grind all the way to MR140 just to be able to try out Risen Teostra.

I wasn't aware this was a thing. Whenever I wanted a screenshot, I'd always add it to a Miiverse post, then access that post via a web browser.

Admittedly I don't know what the going rate is for voice actors is, but $4,000 for the lead role in a series like this seems astonishingly low. Definitely seems like Platinum are being being scummy here.

I absolutely adore the Layton series, but I can't imagine Level-5 in their current state going back to the series. Even if they were to try and make a new game, there's a good chance it would be an underwhelming experience.

And this article was great timing, as I had literally just started playing the Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright game earlier today. It's the only Layton game I hadn't played before, so hoping it's a good one.

It does seem slightly out of place for a Fire Emblem character. That design would have been a better fit for a vtuber model.

It's a refinement of a great series. The score seems fair, though the game itself might not be what I was looking for. After having played lots of Splatoon 1 & 2, I'm in the mood for something a bit different. So I'll likely skip this, but others who aren't burnt out on the formula may well love this.

Deltarune chapters 1 and 2 were excellent, so the next chapters should be well worth the wait. And since 1 & 2 were free, I'm more than happy to throw some money his way once the entire game becomes available to buy.

3DS Rainbow Road would be brilliant. With that and the recently released Waluigi's Pinball, I might finally have to double dip and get the Switch Deluxe version.

That's a great selection of tracks, especially Waluigi Pinball. Now it just needs MK7 Rainbow Road, and then it'll all be perfect for me.

My big issue with dynamax was how long the animation cutscene takes. Especially if both you and you opponent are using it on the same turn, then there's a lot of waiting around.

I only started playing Splatoon 2 about two years after launch, so it's a bit too soon from my perspective. If it's more of the same and without any major new features, then I can easily skip the third entry.

The PWT was a lot of fun, but the B2W2 side activity that I spent the most time on was Pokestar Studios. That involved helping to direct movies by selecting the appropriate moves in the fight sequences. And there's a few different endings for each movie based on how you did.

I absolutely loved the original movie. Hopefully the game's good, but I'll need to look at some reviews.

I'm not fond of those comparisons. If they're comparing it to something I like, then I tend to assume the new game won't be as good as that. And it's just seems to be a lazy way to describe a game.

Nightfire and Everything or Nothing were the two that I played back in the day, with Nightfire being my firm favourite. It would be interesting to try out Goldeneye if they ever re-released it and make it purchasable.

It's an interesting concept. I'm not sold on the game yet, so the demo will be useful for me.

A multiplayer brawler isn't really what I want from a Crash game. Hope it sell though, so that they'll continue to keep the Crash series alive.

It's been so long since I've played the main game, I'd forgotten there was DLC incoming. Cuphead is great though, so I'm eager for this. With both this and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, I'm going to be oddly busy with expansions at the end of this month.

After being disappointed with Shield, I'm basically done with the mainline series for now. Of course I could well change my mind if Scarlet/Violet end up being phenomenal, but currently I expect to skip them.

The only one I've bought is a PS Vita game, IA/VT Colorful. But as it's a rhythm game, knowing Japanese isn't required to enjoy it, once you figure out all the menu options mean.

This does sound rather interesting. I'm interested in trying this out for myself.

Working as a support studio isn't normally as fun as having your own product to work on. Sounds like it ended up being more fun than expected as they got to work on entire tracks.

Porting the older Persona and Shin Megami games to modern hardware would be lovely. I'd also like to see more Etrian Odyssey, though that might not be the same without the 3DS dual screens (guessing they'd have to scrap the map-drawing mechanic, and turn it into an auto-fill map).

I like the visuals. Everything's so bright and vibrant.

Makes sense to keep the current naming convention. Earthbound Endings is a good idea, or replace the word Endings with another word relevant to the game.
