Really great to see this one come to a console because it’s very much a PC game in my mind, both in its UI and visual design, and in its level of depth. We rarely see a well this deep get released on console.

I wanted to like it but just couldn’t do it. It was my first time requesting a refund on Steam (thankfully they were good about it). The humor, the graphics, the gameplay, that voice cast, literally nothing clicked for me. I’m obsessed with turn based tactics games like this but it just felt bad to play. If you long for the halcyon days of 2007, then this is certainly the game for you.

Both games are very good. I wish more gamers cared about indies and smaller titles like these, it’s really where the innovation is in gaming right now.

I wish it was more of an open ended block game style building system rather than the Animal Crossing/Fantasy Life sort of thing where you just plop down a build kit and a house appears. That I’d play.

I did a full clear of this game shortly after it launched and recently went back and put 40 or so hours into 1.6 and wow, whole new game, I’ve been loving it.

Damn are the preorders down already? I’m on the store and it just shows a release date for the button?

Such a shame, I don’t want to play backwards compatible new releases on my new console, I want native versions of games. Nintendo actually encouraging the continuing development of Switch 1 instead of getting dev kits out is WILD to me. Especially since the launch slate might as well have been on Weight Watchers it was so slim.

I’m the target audience for this kind of crap, weird Nintendo is what it’s all about.

To me they feel radically different, different genres entirely. Both are excellent at what they do.

Pretty dismal so far in my opinion. Zero interest for another Nintendo racer right now. I feel like people have rose coloured glasses on for that one, the original wasn’t awesome.

I hope Switch 2 has a quicker start than PS5 did, it’s not looking great so far.

The bc layer isn’t good enough and I’ll only be using it if I have no other options. PS5 it is, I guess?

Looks fun but 115$ Canadian ain’t happening out of principle. I think there’s an argument that some games warrant a higher price tag, but a collection of mini games? Nope. Get absolutely rekt.

I absolutely love it so far, it’s definitely in that very upper tier of modern Nintendo bangers for me, alongside Odyssey, BOTW, TOTK, etc. It’s an easy 9 right now but I haven’t finished yet so subject to change.

Cold is an effective treatment of some forms of cancer.

No one can convince me this wasn’t a huge money maker for them, even with the eventual free repairs. A lot of people wouldn’t have known about that offer or followed any of the news around it, they just would have replaced their broken controller and grumbled about how they don’t make things like they used to and moved on.

I love this game, still one of my favourite Nintendo games.

I think I managed to get one from Best Buy in Canada but haven’t received a confirmation email or had the charge show up on my card. It is showing on my purchases in my account with a confirmation number though. Fingers crossed!

Did the drift issue cause more or less hardware sales? The answer to that question determines the outcome of all of this.

I’m actually stoked for this feature. This is what draws me into Nintendo products, I want the weirdness, if they didn’t have the weirdness it wouldn’t be Nintendo IMO.

Europe #2 is by far the worst of the 3 in my opinion, shocked at these results. The Japanese one is the most sensibly designed piece.

I tend to stick to index funds and other bundled ETFs because I just don’t have the time to be hands on, but I do tend to buy some Nintendo here and there when it dips, mainly just to fan out.

They’re the future of the industry, honestly. AAA gaming is going to implode and we are eventually going to be left with a handful of live service games and a vibrant indie scene.

This game had one of the best glow up’s since the Switch ARK port, I would grab it on Switch 2

I wonder how the fit is between the console and the dock. One of my favourite early accessories was these dock bands that fit onto the edge of the panel of the launch model Switch that made it a snug fit into the dock, I’ve been using them since day one. I hope they’re not needed this time around, or if they are, hopefully someone’s on it.
