I might check it out if it's very different from Arms. I felt like in Arms I was boxing a lot of the time.

Not bad Nintendo. Not bad considering the Switch has been out for less than a year and a half. Now Nintendo just has to keep the momentum with great games!

Nintendo needs some more big IPs to keep new console buyers coming. I am still waiting for a current gen Earthbound, Wave Race, Donkey Kong, Golden Sun, Kid Icarus, Fatal Frame, Advance Wars, Pikmin 4, a new Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Super Mario RPG 2.

I wonder if he wanted to try something new. Maybe have his own gaming studio.

Makes perfect sense. For a long time Nintendo first party games are the ones I pre-order and know there won't be game breaking glitches. Also, this goes to show why the Platinum Games and Microsoft relationship did not work for Scalebound. Platinum Games wanted that quality and creativity and Microsoft worried more about those timelines and needing a console exclusive.

I really enjoyed this game. I am glad it is being brought to Switch. I think it will sell well.

Without a doubt. Many mainstream games are similar and then the new entries into a series do no innovation whatsoever. It's like cut and paste.

Well, with over 60 million 3DS handhelds sold I do not see why Nintendo should give up that market. An affordable handheld would not be a bad thing.

It's very different. I hope they can deliver. The best option for this game would have been to have some online multiplayer to take things to the next level.

I am glad Splatoon 2 is doing so well. The original Splatoon caused some Wii U shortages when it was released in Japan. The sequel is even more successful.

I loved Oxenfree. A good port on Switch. At $5 it was definitely worth it!

This is definitely an excuse. Dead or Alive is a niche game and the reality is niche games sell well on Switch.

What he says definitely makes sense. It's a way for the developer to keep a classic game a classic by not ruining the IP with bad sequels. At the same time, I think similar games could be made that take elements from prior games without being a sequel.

That would be cool. I am glad Nintendo was open to this idea. Mario was supposed to be in the first movie but they did not have a good way of adding him to the storyline.

Bring it to Switch! Might as well use those spent development dollars to good use on the Switch.
