Ports of some favorite games:
1. Fallout 3
2. Fallout New Vegas
3. Castlevania DS Trilogy
4. Dark Souls 2
5. Elder Scrolls Oblivion
6. Elder Scrolls Morrowind
7. Castlevania 3D collection - CV64, Legacy of Darkness, Curse of Darkness (Lament of Innocence is PS exclusive just like Requiem)
Nintendo are notorious for discontinuing/stopping support for their things. That is why people need game preservation because otherwise some Wii digital only games (for example) will become extinct.
The good thing is that most Nintendo physical products are easy to maintain like changing a fan, thermal paste or drifting sticks
I do not care for any spoilers in any media. A good story is a good story no matter if I know the ending.
If people want to be surprised when they play, watch or read, please turn your internet off and do not come back until you are done with your game, movie or book.
Nowadays each person in their workplace is disposable even the best. It is great fear to know that you could be easily replaced on the job you really love.
AI makes it harder for the artistic people in the gaming and movie industry. Many people are ok to be fed with the soulless generated(put together from real art) AI content.
GF should start crying that the copycat games have better graphics and less bugs than their latest entry and demand that the other studios keep their low standard!
@Princess_Lilly I think in this case it is not a stereotype but the culture itself. Every nation has its culture and some of them are ... let's say not so great
Also hatred is a purely human trait and it is never going away we just have to adjust to it.
I also can't get defensive because I AM part of the stereotype I prefer to do art and game BUT I am shamelessly "forced" to do social stuff. I am also ashamed that I like it from time to time
@-wc- Thank you! That is what I was looking for! The nugget of truth
But seriously most of the stereotypical stuff is pretty accurate. People are just really offended by everything nowadays instead of accepting critical stuff
Also, the stereotype is for the majority of a group not each and every member.
Example is that most COD players are kids that LOVE to curse and send death threats in PMs just for the fun of it. Yet there are some people who love to play the game just for fun.
My main focus will be Sekiro. It is the last Fromsoft game that I have not beaten
I've got the Castlevania Adbance Collection and I am starting with Harmony of Dissonance I have played all 3 GBA Castlevania games around 50 times each Castlevania is love, Castlevania is Life!
And on the Steam Deck I will play Clive Barker's Undying! Awesome horror game with chilling atmosphere!
@NinjaNicky I also find it boring, but that is probably because I REALLY love the Arkham series and it is nothing like that. It tries to imitate it and still try to be something different.
I will continue to play it BUT I am 100% sure that it will never reach the level of Origins, Asylum, City and Knight.

Re: Sega Of America Set To Lay Off 61 Employees In March
I really hope that they are NOT laying off people because top management wants AI generated assets or AI generated code.
Because we will see even MORE unfinished products that are not even tested.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 27th)
@Tasuki I call it expansion It is so professional that you can't say that it was not made by the old 3DO before the Ubicrap acquisition
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 27th)
@Digitamamon64 Yes, the game is brilliant and timeless! I like the other games in the franchise as well to be honest
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 27th)
1. Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Horn of the Abyss because of the new Factory town that came out just before the new year! It is awesome! (Steam Deck)
2. Castlevania III Dracula's Curse - really hard game

Continuing with Castlevania Aria of Sorrow. Again, aiming for 100% souls and map coverage

And on the Switch I will knock out couple of levels in Quake!
Happy gaming everyone!
Re: Players Need To Start "Feeling Comfortable" With Not Owning Games, Says Ubisoft Subs Boss
Then Ubisoft should start getting comfortable when I play their games and not pay for them.
They will remember the day they almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 13th)
For this weekend I got Mortal Kombat 1! It will be fun for sure!!!

After Castlevania HoD I will start Circle of the Moon
I will casually juggle between God of War 1 and Fable II.
The one brands NEW experience is Gothic II. Gothic 1 was lost and I had to reorder so I will play GII for a while.

Re: Soapbox: "Go Outside, Get Some Fresh Air" - Why Won't Outmoded Gamer Stereotypes Die?
@-wc- Nope, just watching compilations on YT
I also can't get defensive because I AM part of the stereotype I prefer to do art and game BUT I am shamelessly "forced" to do social stuff. I am also ashamed that I like it from time to time
Re: Soapbox: "Go Outside, Get Some Fresh Air" - Why Won't Outmoded Gamer Stereotypes Die?
@Manly The funny videos of raging cod players were like 90% kids by the sounds I was hearing
I also noticed that most people that believe in the zodiac signs and that kind of stuff have relationship problems maybe that is a stereotype as well

@Raifteiri Isn't it a simplified behavioral context attached to certain groups of things?
Re: Soapbox: "Go Outside, Get Some Fresh Air" - Why Won't Outmoded Gamer Stereotypes Die?
It is getting better BUT remember that stereotypes exist because they are true
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend?
In the last weekend of 2023 I will play the following games:
1. Chipping away at Sekiro, every step is progress!!!
2. Finishing up Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance. This is SUCH a joy to play on a big TV! I am taking screenshots every 5 steps
3. Play 2-3 Orc missions in WarCraft II.
4. Try out Monster Hunter Rise. I am afraid to get sucked into the series.
Happy gaming!!!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (Christmas 2023 Edition)
@imadeanaccount To put it in more realistic perspective, Castlevania is better than oxygen

Re: Review: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet - The Indigo Disk (Switch) - Enjoyable But Safe DLC Is Far From A Treasure
Ugliest Pokemon game to date. Missing on everything that makes a good Pokemon game.
Yet it will sell well because of its name/brand.
Re: Poll: Rate Your Favourite Switch Games Of The Year 2023
Easily The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for me.
The game is amazing!!!
The absolute best the Switch could offer this year!
Really close after that is Blasphemous 2!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 16th)
@MarioBrickLayer Oh I am just going to start I got it few days ago
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 16th)
This will be a chill weekend!
I will be playing Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow for the 999th time
Some Dishonored and a new game for me Alien Isolation
Happy gaming!!!
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: The Indigo Disk DLC
I still can't get over the fact of how bland and empty the world in the game is. It is so ugly and charmless
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 9th)
@Viagro Haha, the resemblance is uncanny
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 9th)
This weekend I will play one of my favorite games Sanitarium! Absolutely stunning point-and-click adventure with phycological horror elements!
I will also try to get as far as possible into Castlevania Rondo of Blood!
And finally, I wanted to make some progress into Ocarina of Time. I admit it is a little hard for me to get into the game
Happy gaming!!!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 2nd)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 2nd)
This weekend I will start some new journeys and relive some fantastic games!
Batman Arkham Asylum on the Switch! Absolutely brilliant game! And I love that at least AA it is ON the cartridge!
Singularity - this is a true forgotten gem! The game is a joy to experience!
Pokemon White 2 - I have only played White/Black so this will be a new adventure for me
Gotham Knights - also a new experience for me but from 1 hour of playing I appreciate the Arkham Series EVEN more!
HAPPY GAMING!!!
Re: Review: The Last Faith (Switch) - A Moody, If Stuttery, Blasphemous-Style Soulslike
I am waiting for a physical edition and I will definitely get it
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 25th)
I will be working on my backlog
Painkiller Black Edition on the Steam Deck - I am on the Venice level.
DooM Eternal on the Switch - I've made progress past the Super Gore Nest!
And I will try to get into Lords of the Fallen yet again
Happy gaming everyone!!!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 18th)
@Rainz Isn't it really easy to find a physical copy of Hollow Knight?
But I admit that I sold my first copy as it was one of the early ones when I found a reprint with all DLC on the cart
