@TYRANACLES I need to make inventory of my PS4, PS5 and my retro consoles The Switch is definitely the biggest collection
The Witcher 3 was fantastic! The gameplay was clunky, but the stories told inside were really cool! I definitely now know why it won game of the year in 2015
@Dr_Corndog I think it will be the other way around I think AI generated things need to have a label just like cigarettes, so you know what you consume.
I do not want to look at a painting and wonder if it is from a human or AI.
Also, more and more artistic outlets online need to give the option to artists to ban AI from using their work to fill the AI databases.
@Dr_Corndog I think that people are afraid of companies that use AI for art and deceive people that it is drawn by a person. And all of this is to save costs.
@Ooyah It was always a "miserable little pile of secrets". In the PSP version the phrase is totally different "A cesspit of hatred and lies.". Those are the only 2 versions
@TYRANACLES I've actually never seen that Spartan Total Warrior.
As for Castlevania, for me this is THE BEST thing to ever grace the gaming as a whole. I mean it I love Resident Evil, Diablo, Warcraft, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Zelda BUT Castlevania is my absolute pinnacle of gaming experience
And yes, beside the amazing hardware Nintendo offers, apart from Zelda, Metroid and Pokemon (with the exception of S&V) I find it hard to enjoy other games like Mario, Kirby(blahh), Bayonetta or Donkey Kong. I mean Mario is cool and I used to play it but now not so much. Maybe I should try Mario 64
And the last 2 years I was really into the Souls series.
TL DR: I really don't like kids games. There are small percentage of kids games that I like to play Toki, Bubble Bobble, Monster Boy, Snow Bros.
Update: Oh, I forgot to add on the how many times I've beaten them ... well many. Each GBA Castlevania at least 15-20 times. Same goes for the DS games and SOTN. The classic games I've only beaten CV1, CV2 and Super CV IV one time each. The RE game I've beaten RE2R and RE8 the most. The rest maybe 2-3 times each with the exception of RE3 Nemesis. I am yet to beat it but first I want to finish Claire A/Leon B scenario in RE2 Original. Oh, and I forgot that I am yet to beat CV Curse of Darkness and Lament of Innocence, but I am progressing that on the Steam Deck.
I also started doing a screenshot journey of each game I beat and put it in an external HDD archive. Some games take about 300 screenshots, but Elden Ring took 1261 and Skyrim took around 1100 just for examples I it a really satisfying hobby! And the console's dedicated buttons for taking screenshots really makes it easy
@Ganner Haha What you see is simply what I like to play. I try to find games online and buy them. I definitely do not have every game.
For example on the N64 I have like 7 games. Yes obscure ones but all awesome.
Oh I do not have the Tiger thing
My collection is not as big as it sounds. The most games I own are on the Switch. I have a list of games I would like to own and I try to follow it. Nostalgia is hell of a drug ... but a good one!
I agree that The Witcher 3 is the impossible port, but I would argue that the DooM(2016) and DooM Eternal are just as important. I would knock off Pokemon V&S as they give absolutely nothing defining the Switch era. I repeat they give ZERO defining elements to the Switch
I have started Claire A run in Resident Evil 2 N64 ... finally! On my way to meet with chief Irons and Sherry. It is a JOY to play this on the N64. The controls are so comfortable!
Also exited to start Silent Hill 2 Remake! I have never finished a Silent Hill game, so I am starting tomorrow and continuing through the week
And on the side some Titan Quest on the Switch, another fantastic game!
Castlevania Curse of Darkness is on standby for the next week
@BANJO I have only 2 games to trade but that is because LRG sent me those 2 games by their mistake and now I have extra copy of one and one that I do not intend on playing
Continuing with The Witcher 3 Currently, I am leaving Ciri's trail from the Skellige Isles and going back to Velen for the ugly Uma. Enjoying the journey but there is more talking than fighting
I have started Castlevania Curse of Darkness on my Steam Deck as it is my preferred way to play it because the default camera controls on the PS2 is TERRIBLE for this game. I have never finished it because of that so I am really enjoying it now! It is a shame that a Castlevania fanatic like me never finished the game! Next on the list will be Lament of Innocence but I have to find it first.
And on the Switch, I am starting Project Warlock again. This time I am making my "screenshot journeys" with this title (as with every other game) even ordered an external HDD to keep my archive safe
This weekend I am pulling the trigger on The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt I have previously played it for like an hour. Now I will be more committed!
Also playing some Resident Evil Deadly Silence (after beating RE2 Remake yet again ) and some Shadowgate but without a guide to see how many game over screens I can get
A limited run is made for a specific time window and after that the production begins. How could they add a patch to the cartridges? It is not like it is a game breaking change like with DooM Classic Collection that they offered a recall.
I do not see people crying when patches are not added to the standard retail collector editions after launch.
And the funny part is that people are not even forced to buy those physical limited releases.
This weekend I will continue with Half-Life Alyx. It will be an understatement to say this is the BEST gaming experience in VR. I am only on Chapter 4 and can't wait to see what happens next!
In the meantime, I will blast some baddies in Quake I Do some puzzle in Layers of Fear And bring back some memories with WarCraft II
Is there a chance to include information for the physical availability of the games in future reviews? What is ON the cartridge? Or if it does not have any physical editions planned.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (18th January)
@Waveboy The mod is awesome! The run through the RPD in VR is a terrifying experience!
The only games I own for VR are RE2, RE3, RE7 and RE8 (All MODS ofc), Skyrim, Fallout 4, Half-Life Alyx and Half-Life 2 VR MOD.
Still only beaten Half-Life 2 and Alyx.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (18th January)
@Yalloo I counted 225 but now they are 227 and they will be 229 Monday
And OFC it is The Office!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (18th January)
This weekend I will focus on DUSK for the Switch. It is an amazing retro style fast paced shooter with some atmospheric levels
My second focus is Resident Evil 2 Remake in VR. I am in the sewers section and looking forward to making it to the lab ... I hope
And lastly, if time permits, some Blasphemous 2 on the PS5 and Castlevania The Dracula X Chronicles
Also, I am REALLY excited that my Switch physical collection will be playable on the Switch 2
Happy gaming everyone!!!

Hmmm I think this might be my very first back on Kickstarter. I just made an account, and I will back the hardcover copy
Who knows I might start playing Mega Man games?

@VHSGREMLIN "little pile"
"But enough talk! Have at you!" Damn I am addicted to Castlevania
Re: Rumour: Konami And Square Enix Expected To Bolster 'Switch 2' Software Library With Major IP
Konami needs to ask themselves the question "What is a man?"
Re: Alucard And Richter Return In 'Castlevania: Nocturne' Season 2 This Week

Re: Rumour: Ubisoft Has "More Than Half A Dozen Games" Planned For Switch 2

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (11th January)
@TYRANACLES Loved Curse of the Moon 1 and 2 but was disappointed in Ritual of the Night. I completed it 2 times out of respect for Iga
@Ganner too unhealthy indeed

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (11th January)
@Rainz no deal although I might consider making a deal for a PAL copy of Castlevania Symphony of the Night
Otherwise I was asked that before. The NL team put that article in a VERY convenient time for me, and ofc I know the time.
The moment they change it and I will not be the first one or when I am on a vacation ofc

Re: Physical Game Sales Took A Nosedive In The UK Last Year
@BANJO I am sitting at 225 physical Switch games now And even more are coming. I guess I will have a lovely elderhood with that backlog
I have to count them again or even make a spreadsheet to keep track of what I have.
BUT I never buy a game I did not like. I always look at videos, images and articles. Research is key
Re: Physical Game Sales Took A Nosedive In The UK Last Year
Well, on consoles I only buy physical games. That will only change if there are no more physical games available.
I prefer to have this kind of ownership of the media. Also the second hand market is cool.

The Switch is amazing!
If they make only ports, the Switch's life could be extended for another 2-3 years

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (14th December)
This weekend I will continue my playthrough of The Minish Cap that I started so long ago
And I will start a fresh run of Kingdoms of Amalur.
I will get some quick nostalgia shots of Faxanadu.
And finally replay again Resident Evil 2. I do not know what is making me replay this game so much ... oh that's right it is so damn GOOD!!!
Happy gaming everyone!!!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (7th December)
@DarkCoolEdge Only good porn
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (7th December)
This weekend I will juggle between some games I don't have much progress in Ocarina of Time 3D and Castlevania 64.
And in the meantime, I will play Circle of the Moon and Resident Evil 4 Remake
Happy gaming everyone!!!
Re: Ubisoft Closes Two Studios And Will Reportedly Lay Off Hundreds Of Employees

Ubi screwed too many times. It is time to give up. Sell the franchises to a competent company please.

@Samalik I upload them on image sharing website like imgbb.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (9th November)
This weekend I will focus on Terraria (Switch) and Resident Evil 2 Claire A/Leon B (N64)

And it is me and my wife 17th anniversary so we will also celebrate!
Have a nice gaming weekend
Re: This Castlevania LP Boxset Looks Gorgeous, But It Costs A Pretty Penny
The Castlevania soundtrack is pure perfection
That is why my ringtone is "Simon's Theme", and my alarm tone is "Bloody Tears"
Re: It's Official, 'Switch 2' Will Be Backwards Compatible
I would love the backwards compatibility to be 100% physically as well as digitally.
If they make it so you can just put in the Switch cartridge and just play without any online checks, I will be a very happy gamer ;
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (2nd November)
This weekend I have decided to be ALL about Castlevania
There are many unbeaten CLASSICvanias by me so I will focus on that and if things get too hard, I will relax with the metroidvanias a little
Happy gaming weekend everyone!!!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (26th October)
@Rockboy247 I was extremely skeptical of VR, and the Quest 3 is the first time I have ever looked through a VR set ... it is amazing!!!
The lenses are really good even though it is not OLED like the PS5 still it looks GOOD!
The passthrough is cool but I mostly stay in games. Currently only 3 games but still
If you are on a budget look up the Quest 3S. The lenses are not the quality of the Quest 3 but the processor is the same
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (26th October)
This weekend I will play around in Fallout 4 VR Really excited about that!
And for some traditional gaming I will enjoy Divinity Original Sin 2 and GRIME
Happy gaming everyone!
