For a few years now, Konami has been pretty quiet on the premium games front, preferring to focus on their presumably lucrative pachinko content instead.
Back in 2015, it all blew up spectacularly with the cancellation of Silent Hills, the removal of spooky and beloved teaser P.T. from the PlayStation store, and the seemingly acrimonious departure of Hideo Kojima, the studio's wunderkind — but earlier this year, Konami reassured us all that they "have not 'shut down'" their video gaming division, despite news of internal restructuring.
Now, we're finally finding out what they meant. According to anonymous sources who spoke to VGC, the company responsible for the Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, and Silent Hill games will reportedly be reviving them all.
The first new release will be a Castlevania game, say VGC's sources, who describe it as a "reimagining" of the series that's being developed internally at Konami.
Meanwhile, a remake of an early Metal Gear Solid game is apparently in the works at a Singapore-based external studio, Virtuos — who worked on the Switch ports of Dark Souls: Remastered, The Outer Worlds, and L.A. Noire. The sources suggested that it would be Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, but that Konami is also going to remaster the original MGS games for current-gen consoles.
The sources also stated that "multiple" Silent Hill games are in production, also at external studios, which seems to confirm (or at least hint to) several rumours that have been swirling around for a while — firstly, that Bloober Team (The Medium) could be working on the series, and secondly, that Konami themselves are working on remakes.
VGC speculates that we might hear more about at least one of Konami's revivals, remakes, and remasters next year, after the company pulled out of E3 2021, stating that they were "not ready to present" their games just yet.
Will any of these new/old games come to the Nintendo Switch? That has yet to be seen. But Silent Hill would look really nice on an OLED screen...
Are you excited to hear that Konami is returning to their roots, or do you think they've lost their spark? Let us know in the comments below!

I really hope the remake is Ghost Babel. Chibi Snake!
After they put the Contra name on the trash fire that was Rogue Corps? No thanks.
Metal Gear Solid pachinko, Castlevania pachinko, and Silent Hill pachinko, I guess.
Even IF this is true, most of the people associated with making these classic series what they are have moved on to other parts of the industry, so I really don't know that I trust Konami to capture what made them great in the first place.
Although, obviously, I'd judge them individually.
I'd prefer they just continue to re-release their older games on modern devices. Castlevania DS Collection should be up next. It's a pity Sony acquired Bluepoint, because they'd be perfect for a Silent Hill PS2 Trilogy remake.
Plot twist: Here's your Konami Wai Wai Pachinko.
I really would love the events of Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake to be made into a metal gear solid game.
Well if it does happen I do hope they do find the right people to give these series proper justice. At least Mercury Steam is now busy doing other stuff so hopefully they're not gonna touch Castlevania again.
How much you all wana bet its mobile games
This is like a 70’s rock band that no longer has any original members making new music. They have the name, but this isn’t Konami of our childhoods.
@CharlieGirl secretly I really liked this contra though.
Oh, Singapore, i don't trust them since the Turtles in Time Remake.
Its harsh, but those outsourced Projects don't work as often.
Another Example, Warcraft 3 Reforged outsourced to Malaysia.
I don't blame the Programers, i blame the Managers trying to make it cheap.
You get what you pay for.
@Thelastjedi2007 all of them
Glad to see it is not apparently exclusive to any console and is multi platform. More people deserve to enjoy this.
that's good to hear, but....
A metal gear without Kojima? I'm sorry, playstation fans
Konami doesn’t know how to make good games anymore so I have low expectations for these
Konami should only outsource to them. Not internally develop them
Would love Metal Gear on the Switch, but at this point, I'm deeply skeptical.
We’ve been hearing this one for years lmao.
The people who made those games great are no longer working for Konami so I do not any hope that they could make great games anymore.
If they outsource it like the did with Mercury Steam then ok otherwise no.
Konami is dead and I only need some ports from their miserable little pile of games.
Would love to see the SNES Goemon (Legend of the Mystical Ninja) in HD.
Yes! Yes! Yes!
This makes me happy! Best news of the day! Been waiting a while for a new proper CV game.
Please no Pachinko or Castlevania Judgement 2. I’ll take anything else lol
I don't see why Konami couldn't have a bit of a resurgence. Switch is perfect for where they are at. I'm still hoping we see ZOE2 on Switch at somepoint.
Come on. You know very well that neithet of those we’ll arrive to a Nintendo console.
They have a lot of work to do. Regaining the trust of their core audiences with these IPs may be a good start or foolish risk.
Only time will tell but I'd rather them take the risk. I wonder if they are able to successfully hire and retain new talent that can deliver.
If you bring back hideo the person that made the other metal gears maybe you could revive metal gear
Castlevania isn't that big of a deal, Bloodstained and other indie properties show they can handle replicating the formula just fine. But a return of Silent Hill or Metal Gear Remakes are very welcome.
@Audiogore0733
They must have serious balls to try and make a new MGS. No, I think they aren't THAT stupid. If it's just a remaster and doesn't involve a revision to the creative / direction, it should be a pretty safe bet.
Remasters / Remakes are insanely profitable right now and I'm sure they are drooling at that missed opportunity... $$$$$
Konami and Sega are like that mid-life crisis person trying to get hip with the kids again, like they used to be...but it ain’t happening like they think it is 😝
Aahhh man, a new Castlevania! Yessssss!. But i would realy love MGS 1 on switch!!
Really worried about another reimagining of Castlevania. I did like the Lords of Shadow games, but I also really want that 1999 game!
@Hwatt yeah I agree but maybe a remaster would be cool though metal gear is just one of those games with some of the best storytelling in them and the cutscenes ant the art are still very good. The bad thing about this series is they threw it off and edge and made it a survival game.
Great, now we can have a Castlevania game with a Panda that has a Gatling gun that shoots whips or something.
Hm wait a minute
Honestly I'd take a great game of any of the three series, but I don't have faith in Konami anymore. Their last two games were Metal Gear Survive and Contra Rogue Corps and there wasn't a good Silent Hill and Castlevania game for over a decade. Hopefully they will prove me wrong.
@BloodNinja 🤔🤔🤔
Just release your original catalog!
Let’s see Metal Gear Survive, Contra Rogue Corps, that mobile Castlevania thing. My hopes are rock bottom. Also wasn’t the rumor Sony was footing the bill to get some of these games as exclusives?
no kojima, no mgs as far as i'm concerned. hopeful tho
A shame that it would be easier to remaster MGS from scratch rather than negotiate with Nintendo and Silicon Knights to get Twin Snakes re-released.
I heard rumors of Bluepoint Games, who remastered Shadow of the Colossus and Demon’s Souls, was working on a Metal Gear remake.
It’s all up in the air…. I would love remakes and sequels and this and that but I just hope the original creators are involved, or at least their vision, is preserved in those in some or all the way.
That being said I would LOOOVVVEEEE a Silent Hill 2 release on Switch. I have my PS3 disc (the collection with 2 and 3) without a way to play it. I’ll take 3 too since it was a sequel to 1.
I also have my original Silent Hill 1 disc which, you guessed it, no way to play it.
Interesting. I'm curious what form this new Castlevania will take. Will it be in the classic style, an Igavania type game, or a continuation of Lords of Shadow. I know it was kind of divisive among fans, but I actually really liked that first Lords of Shadow, it had great atmosphere and music. And the twist ending was bad-ass. In all likelihood it's going to be an entirely new take on the series, which hopefully won't be horrible.
If Castlevania is revived as a 3D game, then forget it. It'll be derivative and uninteresting.
If Castlevania is revived by outsourcing it to indie devs with pixel graphics, then I would be much much more interested in it.
Hmm..I had read last year about Sony possibly being involved with reviving Konami's properties. In the meanwhile, if Konami wants some money, port over Silent Hill 1, 2 (very expensive PS2 version), MGS 1, 2, and 3. I don't get some companies regarding these older games. I would love to boot up those games on a Switch as they were first envisioned. And I would buy the remake after. I've done it with Resident Evil 2, and 3 already.
A reimagining of Castlevania- As a Gatcha style mobile game!
Please more Castlevania!
If MercurySteam (once again) proves to be one of the greatest Metroidvania developers with Metroid Dread (already sounds promising based on the reviews so far), then I would definitely want to see them work on another Castlevania game again.
Me: I sure do wish they'd make a new Castlevania!
monkey's paw finger curls up
Metal Gear just wouldn't be Metal Gear without Kojima's full involvement, and I'm against remaking the already existing games.
As pretentious as the whole "auteur" thing may sound, churning out remakes every once in a while goes completely against the philosophy that Kojima has regarding his work. If the originals are starting to show their age, it's because eveything is, to a certain degree, a product of its time - books, paintings, buildings, even people. Remaking the games, no matter how well it's done, diminishes their individuality. Let them exist on their own. Let them be unique.
And frankly, it would be kinda dumb if a game series where one of the main plot points is the struggle of clones for identity and freedom ends up trapped in an spiral where all it does is repeat itself. They're not tools of Konami or anyone else.
@nessisonett Sometimes I think that the best way to continue the series without Kojima would be to make sequels to the games that were made without his full involvement, like Ghost Babel or Revengeance. But he did supervise those games too, so I don't know... perhaps the ideal solution would be if Kojima Productions and Konami collaborated to make Metal Gear games, giving Kojima the freedom he wants while ensuring that the series has a future, but considering the circumstances in which they parted ways, I don't think the posibility of that happening would be very high.
@Zeropulse I would be against remaking it with 3D gameplay, but a top-down remake of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake with cutscenes, voice acting, an updated storyline and maybe even content that was cut from the originals would be interesting, but only if Kojima does it.
@NinChocolate Only SEGA is still capable of making good games and respects their fan base for the most part. Konami is like the drunken ahole father that you left years ago but every time you come back he’s still in terrible shape(and an ahole)
@Stubborn_Monkey While I respect your opinion, I don't know if I agree with it. For me personally remakes are just a new way to play a game that either a) love, have probably played to a million times a new take on it is fun, be better or worse or b) is a game I missed and I know I just don't have the time in my adult life to go through the necessary hoops to play again, so maybe I can try and enjoy this new version.
Either way I still take the remake as its own stand alone game though separate from the original. I have beaten OoT perhaps a dozen times across multiple platforms (N64, Gamecube, Wii Virtual Console) and love the 3DS remake. I still go back and play the original as I have an old CRT hooked up just for classic games, and I still play the 3DS version. Granted those two games are very similar.
Samus Returns/Return of Samus or before that Metroid and Metroid Zero Mission. Those are all basically 4 unique games and I appreciate each one for what it has to offer. Sometimes I am feeling hardcore and will play original Metroid. Remakes stand on their own. Great case on the negative side, Actraiser renaissance. The original actraiser still remains one of my favorite games of all time despite not really loving this remake. But I am still thrilled it got made because maybe more people are aware of the game now and will seek out and try it.
1. I'll believe it when I see it.
2. I doubt they will be good.
3. Bloodstained and old CV games forever.
Konami has become a cheap knockoff of its former self. Caution is the best I can give this venture to revitalize their flagship line.
How about a Silent Hill-like Castlevania?
Not terribly interested. Only Castlevania interests me and it doesn't need a "reimagining" that's how we got lords of shadow, which was fine I guess but not really a good Castlevania. Now that Iga is making games we basically have the Castlevaniai want. Maybe they'll prove me wrong.
Please let this be true, but I would be totally fine with the HD collection including the first game/Twin Snakes! This is my main game missing on Nintendo Switch!!!!! Please Konami, give it to us ASAP!!!!!!
Interested if they turn out to be good. But the one franchise I want Konami to revisit the most is Love plus. Would love to have a Love plus game on Switch.
Fresh blood might be what these franchises need.
It will either be spectacular or a train wreck.
@Zeropulse I get what you're saying, and I agree with some points - my stance on remaking the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake is not very different from the Metroid / Zero Mission and Metroid II / Samus Returns situation.
Having said that, I do think that remaking video games robs them of their identity; I mean, there are laws regarding the restoration of antique paintings or historic buildings that limit the changes that can be done. I know that people probably won't consider video games "art" or anything close to it, and I will be the first to admit how pretentious all of this sounds, but in some cases, like Metal Gear, I'm against remakes.
I get that video games are especially susceptible to remaking because hardware is made obsolete every few years, but even with the remakes, in a few years the game will be considered "old", so, what should we do? Remake the remakes, and so on, forever? I think what's necessary is to make sure the originals are avaible in new formats.
That's my opinion, but I admit that yours is valid, too. So maybe we should agree to disagree.
Hopefully the rumours are true and konami get back to greatness 🙏
How about Konami sells these IPs and gets out of the gaming industry once and for all? Not even trying to be edgy with this one.
They got rid of nearly all their talent. What could they possibly make that would be any good?
Yes, yes, this is all well and good. But, hear me out...new Goemon?
I won't be truly satisfied until they make Gyruss 2
"Reimagining" is the word that really bothers me...
Current day Konami really is a bummer.
The only reason I bought and still have a PS2 were for the Konami titles. Best NES lineup also.
Only hope for these old franchises to come back would be to licence them to worthy development teams.
Hopefully that revival isn't on mobile.
@Stubborn_Monkey This was the most polite dispute the internet has ever seen. Though in all honesty that's many of the disputes on nintendolife, such nice users on this site.
@BloodNinja Sounds like it could be a wicked summons. Konami isn't above the occasional goofy joke, or easter egg. Can we call it Belmont Bear?
@Tempestryke Yes, Belmont Bear it is!
Highly unlikely any new games would come to the Switch, that being said, if they could just port the current/latest versions to the Switch that’d be great.
I want Guillermo del Toro to work on P.T again. I don't trust Konami. Anyway out of all these games i only see Castlevania coming to Switch
Time for a proper Silent Hill collection!
Goemon or go home!
ENOUGH WITH THE @$&!!ING RUMORS, GOD DAMN IT.
JESUS CHRIST, THIS WEBSITE
Much like a monkey-paw wish, you'll probably see all three return, only for something to be hideously wrong with each one. Just look at what happened when we suddenly got Contra Rogue Corps...
here's hoping it's a Metal Gear Acid reboot
Makes sense as COVID19 leveled things like arcades and pachinko parlors, so games are easy revenue streams since they can be played at home.
They should hire Treasure (ex Konami) to make a new 2D Castlevania and possibly an on rails Sin and punishment style Silent Hill.
@Expa0 Why does everyone dump on MercurySteam and the Lords of Shadows games?
I honestly felt Lords of Shadows 1 was not just the best 3D Castlevania game, it was a pretty solid game overall with fun(if close to GoW III's gameplay) and a solid story.
As for Mirror of Fate, I thought that was a pretty good game as well.
Lords of Shadows 2 was a massive flop, but I get the impression Konami was not really giving Mercurysteam any real support at that point.
I think MercurySteam is a great developer and it's obvious they are talented. Their work on Metroid proves this, and it's rare Nintendo lets Western developers play in their sandbox with their IPs.
My point is, I think the Lords of Shadows games, at least I and Mirror of Fate get unfairly judged and often over stupid reasons like "It does not feel like Castlevania" or "They rebooted the storyline and changed the characters"
Taken on their own merits, both are solid games.
If MercurySteam was given the chance to do a new Metroidvania game in the Castlevania series, I would be excited.
Their work on Metroid speaks for itself.
Who knows if any of this is true, but I'd really enjoy a fresh take on Castlevania.
@Purgatorium
How about a Castlevania-like Silent Hill?
So... more Reboot/remakes... Jeez imagine that. RIP new ideas.
@BloodNinja Yay!
I'm still waiting for my MGS fix on the Switch. I'm starting to lose hope. I just want some rereleases, much like Castlevania. I thought that would be a no-brainer. I have the entire collection, including remakes on PS3, GameCube and 3DS. It would be convenient to have at least a few of those on Switch.
C'mon Konami you need to do better than that. We also need Suikoden, Sparkster the Rocket Knight, Goemon the Mystical Ninja, Vandal Hearts, Sunset Riders, and a new Konami Krazy Racer would be nice.
Konami owns a lot of beloved franchises and it’s great news they are getting back to developing proper video games again. I’m one of the very few that actually liked Contra Rogue Corps. Hopefully they still have some talent there to make fun games and respect the history of their IPs.
Oh, and bring back Suikoden too please.
Konami boardroom: wait Super Bomberman R sold HOW many copies?!
As far as MGS new game goes, Kojima is gone, but even worse, for Castlevania let's not forget the entire team that made ALL 3 Advance, ALL 3 DS and SOTN is gone! They made RotN and are making it's sequel right now. That game is better than MGS Survive and is the 2and best Castlevania game without being called Castlevania lol. So my expectations are VERY low. I'd also like to play the DS games without spending $300 or on an emulator
They're going to try making ANOTHER Metal Gear Solid game after the disaster that was their last attempt? This is gonna be a laugh. As far as I'm concerned, I still hold the belief that Hideo Kojima knew MGS 5 was his last with the company, so he drove the story into the ground so the series couldn't continue
Three of their best series? From these, I'm mostly interested in Castlevania. Thankfully, the Lords of Shadow days are over. And taking into account the popularity of the awesome Netflix series, we might get something really good.
@Caryslan
For the millionth time, Nintendo is just not gonna let Mercury Steam play in their sandbox, as you stated concerning Metroid. Nintendo is helping them developing Dread.
As for Lords of Shadow, to me, it was the low point of the Castlevania series. The best 3d games were Castlevania Judgement and the N64 ones. And no, I'm not saying this just because those were released on Nintendo consoles. I really enjoyed them the best. I also owned Ps3 at a time, and absolutely abhorred the LoS- series. I don't even call it Castlevania, because it doesn't feel like a Castlevania at all. Didn't play the sequel after hearing it was even worse.
"Don't do that, don't give me hope....."
I don't really care about the Silent Hill or Metal Gear series, but it would be nice to play some new Castlevania games. If they reboot the series again, I hope Sonia Belmont returns.
this was literally a news article everywhere three months ago.
I doubt that any of these are going to be on Switch or Switch 2, unfortunately.
If they were to outsource them to studios who know the properties better, and they do know them better, I would down for this.
@zbinks Aye, I could do that.
@MrGawain I couldnt have come up with a better analogy than that.
You know, I would have called bullcrap on this before Covid, but Konami got hit super hard last year since their Pachinko parlours and fitness clubs were closed. I guess they need to have a steadier revenue stream than just those two. It's sounding like we might finally have game-making Konami back.
Only thing they're good for now is Yugioh and even that has become P2W stuff based on what we have with Duel Links and what we know about Master Duels
@FoxMcCloud the original MGS trilogy would be a day 1 purchase for many!
@Cia maybe only people who have played other 3D Castlevania didn’t like LOS 1/2. I only grew up with GOW A,1/2/3,COO,GOS,… and coming from there LOS were both great story and gameplay wise! I would buy them right away on Switch.
@Znake
The problem with the LoS series is that it really doesn't feel like Castlevania. You're right, I've played the n64 Castlevania's before LoS 1, then I played that game and finally, Castlevania Judgment. My opinion is that the both the n64 games and Judgment are a lot better than LoS.
I did enjoy God of War 1 and 2 at the time, despite not liking Kratos, and LoS just felt like a worse version of those games.
Then again, who am I to tell you what you should like or not. If you enjoy the LoS series, good for you.
@Cia I actually agree with you on most points, it definitely doesnt feel like a classic castlevania but it was a 3D evolution of the series so there wasn’t really a set standard for 3D castlevanias( I only played n64, which is not a very good game, but can be fun for fans of the genre). The game definitely tried to be more like GOW- but I wouldn’t say worse. GOW is very simple even on high difficulty and lacks strategic gameplay- you can just hack through everything with force. LOS didn’t have the same level of graphical polish like GOW, but it got many things better. I would say the story was better, overall gameplay and combat was deeper- maybe little unpolished, but still better than GOW is some regards. The overall tone of LOS1 and 2 was great. Good start and evolution of the main character. Artistically the game felt deeper than GOW and more diverse. Yes, some sections were little clunky, but not bad- mostly for people who grew up with older game and are used for very precise inputs and platforming-I didn’t have too many issues there, but for younger audience that’s used to have everything automatized and simplified for convenience of gameplay and flow-I can see someone have an issue with some parts of the game. I would still say that it was a solid 8-8.5 score game. Not perfect, but the highs should not be overshadowed by the lows.
@CactusMan totally agree. Konami would be insane if they overlook almost 100mil players and that’s still growing! It’s crazy Switch has been expanding even though it has been on fewer markets than ps4/5, but totally oversells competition if we take into account that Switch has been out there a few years less than PS4 and in fewer countries, and already has almost the same console sales as PS. Switch might be the most successful console out there so Konami would be out of their minds not to bring their most popular games over. I also feel like Switch might not even need to upgrade- if the new dock will be able to hve it’s own processor- it could easily upscale its image quality even without hardware upgrade. Nintendo is really clever how they tackle the problems.
@Znake
I think the platforming in LoS was a lot easier compared to older games. The places you could jump actually had a glow on them. That was one of the reasons I didn't like the gameplay. If the player doesn't know how to jump on a platform without a glowing edge on it, then I wouldn't suggest trying any older games. The N64 games were notorious for their hard platforming sections. No glowing platforms there, you just had to know where and when to jump. Well, that's how it usually works in any game. To me, it sounds like you have this thing backward somehow?
As for the story, I was disappointed in that too. Patrick Stewart. I could only think of Picard in the storybook sections. And Gabriel Belmont was so generic, I didn't really see any character development for the entire duration of the game, except in the end. I still refuse to call him Dracula. He's Gabula for me. Dracula is Vlad Tepes, or even Mathias Cronqvist. But this guy... just no.
@Cia I didn’t mentioned guided platforming-that’s not a fault of the game but the gaming industry. Uncharted had all platforming yellow-was it ever complained upon?! I don’t like that either so they could easily give a choice to remove the hints. I prefer harder precise platforming too, so I didn’t say I liked what they did- but the same goes for God of war! Everything you can climb has scratches on the walls or other type of silly hint. But it important to judge a game not on personal preferences but as a game from hack and slash genre. Just because you don’t like a good honest soldier becoming a Dracula doesn’t make it a bad game, but of course for you it wasn’t the right character development, but at least they changed up the norms of what would the player expect- and for the main character to become a Dracula-it was a huge surprise. I didn’t mind it, and thought that their realization of the character was well developed, but I agree with you that the voice actor( although good in the first game, didn’t resonate so well with him as a Dracula in the second. All I am saying, that I liked the story which had nice surprises and concluded just in 2 games ( not counting MOF), and in a way I liked the combat better than GOW and also the world was more interesting than GOW( which I loved- at least the trilogy and SOS). They could polish it up and release on Switch for people to experience it.
@Znake
There are certain archetypal characters/ monsters that should not be changed too much or else they lose the essence of what they should be. Dracula should not be a hero, but a villain. Zombies should not run but walk. Werewolves should not get their power from the sun but from the moon. I'm sure you get my point.
It's ridiculous how Dracula fights against Satan in LoS 2. True Dracula should have "sold his soul to the devil." He is the prince of darkness and should be sided with Satan, as inferior.
The reason I hated the combat in LoS games was the fact it always took an eternity to kill any amount of enemies. Normally in Castlevania games, you may have to whip the normal enemies once or twice, so it's not a constant stoppage to the monsters. Mercury Steam actually repeated this mistake concerning Metroid: Samus Returns. Gladly, these issues will be fixed in Dread according to the hands-on previews.
As for God of War, I hated the platforming on that game too.
@Cia I feel with you, I mean, I liked that Dracula became the most powerful character that even Satan feared, but I like how perceptive you are! It’s unfortunate that not every studio shares the same passion for a franchise-like transition from Super Metroid to Metroid Prime, and many essential details are overlooked-as you stated. I didn’t judge LOS games much as Castlevania-more of hack and slash games-and I enjoyed them, nonetheless, its true that many steps were taken too far to deviate from the core that it transformed the game into its own thing. Hopefully the next 3D Castlevania will blow us away:). Anyways, what are your top 3 (from 3rd-1st) side scrolling Castlevanias?
@Znake
I like Metroidvania's! However, Super Castlevania IV is also very impressive, so I'd say my top 3 is
1. Symphony of the Night
2. Super Castlevania IV
3. Every GBA vania. Can't really say which one of the three I like the best.
@Cia so no pick from the DS games? I really liked DOS and it’s absolutely great Julius mode. I thought the DS games were much better overall than GBA except for Aria. Also, have you played Bloodstained? Does it compare to SOTN? Or supersedes it?
@Znake
I've tried the DS games and from those DoS seemed to be the best, indeed. Portrait of Ruin had a disappointing level design and Order of Ecclesia seemed pretty good but I never got past the crab boss. It's hard!
As for Bloodstained, I haven't played it, but based on the player feedback I doubt it would supersede SotN. I have to try it myself at some point, though.
Actually, I just watched a video about the making of SotN and there is a reason for its greatness. Everything just matched together incredibly well in that production.
@Cia it’s just disappointing that the Castlevania Anniversary collection had like 7 games, and now the Advance just 3- they should package them with the DS titles along with SOTN! Can’t believe the game is still not on Switch.
@Znake
Yeah, I don't think we've seen Symphony on any Nintendo hardware yet. It's a pity. I wonder whether the touchscreen stuff in DoS is the reason they haven't ported the DS games? Surely they could make it work somehow with a traditional controller.
Interesting... before any of this happens, porting MGS V to Switch wouldn't be a bad idea.
