Re: Random: One Of Shy Guy's Mario Strikers Animations Is A Paper Mario Callback

Love this attention to detail! I have played every Paper Mario game including Origami King. Actually just started replaying Paper Mario on the N64 online service. Man, nothing comes CLOSE to those first two games in the series. The combat, partners, character progression, overall charm... The only thing that has improved in the newer games is the graphics and that's it. For me, the slow death of the Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi series has been the biggest disappointment in Nintendo's history.

Re: Talking Point: Are There Too Many Harvest Moon-Likes On The Market?

Great topic for discussion, Kate! Personally, no I do not think there are too many as it is one of my favorite genres (I play games to relax, not to stress myself out). I do, however, agree that I wish developers differentiated themselves from Stardew and Harvest Moon a bit more and tried new things. You will never be the next "Stardew" if you just try to copy them.

What a great article. This game has a special place in my heart. I vividly remember mining and fishing and taking care of my sweet animals until I got old and perished. It shocked me that the game actually ended and I couldn't keep playing. I got a sick feeling in my stomach but ultimately looked back on the game very fondly.
