Another day, another Xenoblade Chronicles 3 musical score!
We're inching ever closer to the launch of Monolith Soft's latest effort, with Xenoblade Chronicles 3 hitting shelves on July 29th. In its ongoing campaign to ramp up hype for the game, Nintendo has shared a brand new track from its OST on Twitter.
This one plays in-game when you trigger a 'Chain Attack' during combat, so naturally it's the kind of music that'll make you feel like Rocky Balboa climbing the steps to the Philadelphia Museum, throwing your fists in the air in triumphant... WAIT, NOAH'S DOWN - REVIVE! HEAL!
It kinda feels like we'll be hearing the entire soundtrack before the actual game launches, the rate Nintendo seems to be firing them out at the moment. The latest track joins the likes of 'Millick Meadows', 'You Will Know Our Names - Finale', and 'The Weight of Life'.
In other news, it was announced recently that pre-orders for the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition wouldn't be going live in the UK and EU until after the games launch on July 29th. We're not sure what to call it, now... A post-order? A pre-post-order? Hmm... Either way, the contents for the Special Edition will be delivered to customers at some point in Autumn.
What are your thoughts on the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 soundtrack so far? Is it getting you hyped for the game's release? Let us know in the comments!

I believe the kids these days would say (and youtubers old enough to know better) 'let's go.' Not sure where to. Maybe to the shops to buy it? Dunno. But I'm going.
I wonder how many hours we will have to play until unlocking the fun gameplay bits. iirc XC2 took around 20 hours of story, which was off-putting for some.
@Ara This is true of all Xenoblade Chronicles games, I have found. At least that they all seem to require a good chunk of time in the first few hours to familiarize yourself and get the story going. It’s like a roller coaster slowly going up the first hill, then they are amazing the rest of the way through.
I’m currently finishing up XBC Definitive Edition, which I put off far too long. It’s absolutely incredible. I should be finished by XBC3 lands.
Man, nothing slaps harder than some Xenoblade combat music.
For some of the more prominent game releases, I would love it if developers would popularize "singles" being released with curated music videos of gameplay footage (if spoilers can be avoided). Currently games are marketed like films, but if they were also marketed like how music albums were back in the days of radio and MTV, it would demonstrate just how all-encompassing games are as an artistic medium. The XC3 launch is giving me a preview of what that could look like. Kudos, Monolith Soft.
@8bit4Life glad you're enjoying my favorite game ever :')
@8bit4Life Very fitting simile, wow. I've played all the XBCs and that's pretty much the most accurate way to describe the overall pacing of them.
@8bit4Life I grew up with Secret of Mana. But if I was growing up today, it would be with Xenoblade Chronicles.
