Digimon games cater to a niche audience and that's fine, but every game released in the franchise has always been barely average at best.

Yep..that score sounds just about right for Digimon. I was honestly expecting no higher than 6.

@progx No worries. This time you can expect the game to release with two characters unlocked. You get an extra one if you get the Ultimate Edition.

From there, every new character can be unlocked via months of grinding or...for a convenient fee of 4.99 a piece, you skip the grind all together. It's all about giving the player options.

@-wc- Same here. And you are actually right on point about certain people will find enjoyment more than others. 7 to me will always mean there are a few flaws here and there but it's still a good time if you give it a chance.

Both are good so it gets a tie.

@Quarth A "7" was never bad. I don't what happened to today's world where people think anything below a 9 means utter garbage. Back when I was growing up alot of games got 7's that are still played today.

"7" always meant good, not great, and still worth a try.
