What a laugh, all those nintendo youtubers and their conjectures about switch 2, directs, games etc, it's all click bait for views. They obviously don't have anything substantial to show.
Do as I do, live life, and when nintendo make official announcements, then get excited!

Don't worry, you can get all if not most on retroarch! That's why I got a series x, considering nintendo are way too slow releasing games for nso and, the fact they only "rent" you games, screw em!
N64, gamecube, wii, gba, etc all available and mostly play excellent

Didn't think the tyrannts at nintendo would let this one pass

Always a good thing, wish nintendo had the same compassion with the many youtube careers they unfairly ended because of their bully tactics

I still won't subscribe to this "new" model of playing retro games where we are only renting.
I'll keep playing and emulating these classics (retroarch via series x) until nintendo decides to allow purchase (if at all)

Once again, considering I'm not a pc man, thanks to series x retroarch, can play paper mario thousand year door on there in hd glory!

Why is it called pop when you don't even play as the Prince? Why are they removing established game characters as of late? Alan wake 2, you spent more time with saga than Alan?

Hope nintendo releases this on switch

It is scary, what with so many botched games coming out as of late, unfinished or in a rough state. Standards have dropped, with developers selling broken, unfinished products, then patching them months down the track

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, so can someone explain in a nutshell what this flashcard can do/does?

Devs said it will focus on story as well, so, add in quite a few hours of cutscenes/dialogue

I'll continue to emulate all classic nintendo games on my series x via retriarch!

Exactly. Technically, totk is a great game, but, the build mechanic just felt tacked on. It didn't belong in a zelda game. I've started a new playthrough of botw, and loving it again.

Probably the best way to play totk, I just couldn't for the life of me be bothered fleshing this game out like I did with botw. Don't know if it was the reused assets, or the gimmicky ultrahand abilities, (even though I did enjoy the 4 "dungeons") just found it...bland

Not asking anything really, just responding to the claim people like the older games because of nostalgia. I was just saying that the older games still hold up today, and still have great game design.
Quite often, when we get nostalgic about something, when we go back to what ever it is, never quite as good as it was back in the day.
But link to the past, ocarina, tp and ww still as good today. I hooe to see more of that style!

How? I love botw, but, still play twilight princess, windwaker (still have my wiiu) ocarina of time and link to the past, and they are all still excellent games. Nothing to do with nostalgia.

Loved botw, but thought totk was a bloated mess. For me, adding all those ultrahand abilities (specially the tedious build mechanic) messed with the zelda formula.
I'd be more than happy to go back to the ocarina of time design. I'm starting to really get over open world games

It's pretty sad when you consider n64 games Run better on my series x via retroarch. That's why I'll never subscribe to nso, first, emulation of n64 is not great, (and they expect you to pay for expansion pack on top) second, nintendo don't want to sell me their games, they just want to hire them out to me. At least on game pass you can purchase games

For the steep asking price of old games, I expect no less than a steady 30 fps fully functioning games.
No excuse for the framerate drops 8n knight and asylum.

Glad kept my wiiu, still have Galaxy 2 on it, and it plays so well

For me its ocarina of time, then botw, TP, WW, link to the past and lastly links awakening switch version

Not interested in nso, but if I could buy the games, different story

For me, still the best 3d zelda, followed by botw, then twilight princess, and lastly windwaker.

Any will do for me

Yep, just go on YouTube type in zelda remaster and most of the nintendo youtubers are talking about tweets and rumours about it, possibly could be an ocarina remaster.
As always, with a pinch of salt

I'm hoping the rumours of a remastered zelda being announced comes to fruition.
But, at the same time, not getting hopes too high.

Tried to love this game, just couldn't. Still love botw though, and doing my 4th playthrough of it now.
Totk just doesn't have that same sense of wonder, it tries to do too much with all the abilities, repetitive depths, bland sky islands etc
But that's just my opinion, objectively, I think totk is a great game, but sometimes, like botw, less is more.

As always, I never buy first iteration of consoles. I wait until updated version comes out (oled) as it has had most of its problems ironed out.
I'm still happy with my switch and series x

It's good and all, but what's the point of a cartridge if you have to download most the games? Am I missing something here?

Imagine if nintendo released a n64 cartridge with n64 controller bundle, how great that would be. (Next best thing to a n64 mini)

Demo was fun, but man, those load times in between were dreadful, wasn't mentioned in this review.
May wait for it on series x

I'll keep playing these on my series x (retroarch) until nintendo decides to allow purchase of these games on switch. Subscription service on switch is rubbish.

Once again, pity that nintendo are scabs and don't allow purchase of nso games.

Nope. I really enjoyed botw, but struggled with totk. Just too convoluted with all the mechanics and clunky ultrahand etc. Found the game boring to be honest, as I do most modern games. Even playing mario wonder, it's good, but don't see it as being great.
For me, the snes, n64 and gamecube era was the best of nintendo gaming.

You most probably will need to pay for another "expansion" pak to play wii, gc titles...

I suppose your right, they just never hooked me in. I've always tried very hard to like sonic games, but found them very average, for me anyways.

Seems like sega have continued to throw and slap so many sonic ideas together each time hoping one of them sticks and becomes a best seller.
But to me, every sonic game apart from MD days is average if not rubbish

I know alot of people lately, including myself who feel nso is just a scam.
Look at gamepass compared to this. It's insulting. You need to pay for online service, then, pay for expansion packs, and yet, still no wii, gamecube titles.
And if nintendo ever do make gamecube games available, guess what, you'll need to pay for another expansion pack.
At least if nintendo allowed you to buy nso games, wouldn't be as bad (like gamepass)
But I will never subscribe, (many have said they are not re subscribing once runs out) specially now as I play all these games emulated on my series x

That huge twist halfway through the game really threw me off!
