Re: Expect More Open-World Zelda Games Going Forwards, Suggests Eiji Aonuma

TruthisRare

Sad to hear as I've always loved the more structured semi open zelda titles like ocarina of time, windwaker & twilight princess. Saying that, I still thought botw was fantastic and really enjoying totk, but wouldn't of minded another zelda in the vain of the aforementioned games.
Just a quick question, and I know I'll be in the minority here, but, is there anyone who still enjoyed botw's more simple approach than totk? I find totk is very convoluted with all its different gameplay systems, items, etc.
Maybe it's just me

So, your the nintendo life moral policeman now?
You also really need to read what people like myself are saying as well and nit get so personal over a hobby about toys.
You being paid by nintendo or you just worship the ground they walk? Get a little bit of life man and realize no company nor corporation is beyond constructive criticism "mate"

Man, its true what many people say, don't dare criticise nintendo, you get attacked by its many zealous followers who can never acknowledge nintendos negative practices/decisions etc.
So, I suppose you would also support nintendo banning youtubers for only legally streaming games like botw? Google it or go on YouTube, many have made vids discussing this.
You support nintendo hampering peoples income while they are a multimillion dollar company?
And your wrong, I would buy n64 games on switch if they were available as I enjoy having a collection of my fav games on one console.
As far as I'm concerned, I've done nothing wrong, I payed for dev mode on series x and use retroarch for emulation.
Microsoft doesn't have a problem with that.

And what bugs me my friend is people who will defend corporations like nintendo to the death, even though they have no monetary, business or family ties to the company, but only because they have enjoyed the toys they have played from the said company.
They would even defend nintendos heavy handed approach in banning youtubers who LEGALLY streamed their games and have lost income because of nintendos heartless actions.
Also, the games I emulate are all ones I own on other Nintendo systems and I have bought them several times over.
When people criticize people like myself who play emulated nintendo games, is it more because they are jealous they may not have access to the systems that do so?

The youtubers I was talking about were not streaming leaks or anything of that kind. They were showing already bought content and nintendo has banned quite a few of them, others they have given strikes etc.
That's pretty heavy handed and anti consumer to be honest.
Just do a google search about it, it's all there, got nothing to do with nintendo protecting their games.
So, my original comment was, if people are leaking zelda tears and nintendo is upset, couldn't care less about them this time, they deserve it for their anti consumer practices

You prove my point that nintendo zealots have to stomp their feet and cry whenever someone points out nintendos greedy ways.
You just had to get personal (at the same time, hope I'm not talking to a ten year old kid who hasn't learnt the ways of this world just yet)
Just like a child that sooks over their favourite toy.
Objective fact is nintendo do throw their weight around and it's people like you that help their causes.
As a consumer who has bought nintendo products from the nes days, I certainly have a right to call them out on their anti consumer practices.

Re: Nintendo Wins Court Dispute Against Pirated Game Hosting Site

Let's be honest, nintendo are such tyrannts, they've even given another recent strike to a youtuber who did not breach any of nintendo and youtubes guidelines for playing through botw with mods.
Nintendo really is a nasty company that can make good games.
With piracy, I agree it's illegal specially when it's a current game on the market, but nonetheless, I'm thankful for xbox and dev mode.
Through retroarch, (series x) I can play better emulated n64 and snes games.
Also have gba and many gamecube titles.
Before I get accused of stealing, I own every game via past consoles (wiiu, snes mini etc)
I still would be happy to buy these games if nintendo bothered to sell any as I think their nso subscription service is rubbish.

Just because people may be critical about something doesn't always mean they are "salty"
No company/corporation should be beyond constructive criticism.
I too think the expansion pass is not really worth it.
On xbox, at least you have the option to buy games on game pass, and, their 360 back compat games run great.
I have played nso (on my sons account) and I can't believe how leggy some n64 games are. Mario 64 is terrible, fzerox stutters, zelda ocarina still has some effects that are off etc.
These games actually run better on retroarch on my series x!
All said and done, I would be happy to purchase some nso games if nintendo allowed, but no.
I will declare, nintendo make some of the best videogames ever, but their business practices have never been smart nor great.
