I'll give it a shot. Hopefully be able to access 7-star in time for Cinderace, or get lucky again with a code to join. Still enjoying just roaming around.
Are they buying COD or Candy Crush? I don't really care about this purchase, but why is it so focused on one game when there are probably other more lucrative reasons to purchase Activision than just COD?
Was able to drum up a code online (I haven't beaten the game yet) and was able to catch it. But what's this about a mightiest mark? Is that supposed to be shown somewhere or what? Mine says nothing of the sort. Just an innocently under informed trainer here... mostly on purpose, trying to fly about as blind as I can through the game.
@PerishSong Yes, that's the one I'm hoping to be ready for. Recycling shouldn't be too much of an issue, especially when they only last a couple days? But we'll see! Thanks for the heads up these other raids are "nothing too special." I've been avoiding most things online so I have a pretty pure/blind play through, so I wasn't sure how rare these are.
I hope they circle back to these events. I understand keeping the "rushed through and already beat the game" portion of fans interested, but there's plenty of us that are still below lvl 20 teams that would like to be able to do these raids some time as well.
Imagine if it worked well! I don't know first hand the troubles... Won't buy it until they patch at least some of the issues. Good thing there's a handful of new articles daily for me to keep informed on the progress.
@N8tiveT3ch Agreed. I'd love to see something like HG/SS size — a couple regions so there's more than 'just' 8 badges, and a decent post game. But give it to me in something like HD-2D style.
3D has been a great advancement in gaming. But once in a while I'd love to see some more 2D releases mixed in. New HD-2D Zelda game? Sign me up. New 2D Mario game (closer to SMW than NSMB style)? Hell yea.
We don't always need the 100+hr sprawling open world games. Mix it up.
I'll buy both, don't get me wrong. But far more excitement for ToTK, simply because that's where I have more faith in a proper end product. Both will be good, but SV will have aspects, no doubt, that they'll be lacking in and I'm sure it'll bring down parts of the game a bit. Where I fully expect ToTK to be brilliant in almost every aspect. ...and based on track records, well...
Remember when we didn't get all this information before being able to buy a game and we had to find out for ourselves? Dates back to the days when games were complete/ polished before releasing, too.
In all seriousness though, I'm spoiled now and can't go back. Wouldn't mind official release of starter evolutions.
Probably nostalgia speaking, but Mario Party 4. I want to see updates to Superstars. Different modes, more boards, more characters all available for online play. Then Superstars could be there. I want more than 4 boards and what, 10 characters? It's rather stale already.
The "Bonus: You get to be sassy at Mickey" is not so secretly my favourite NL line in recent memory. Thank you for this. Also — somewhat impressed at the option given in the screenshot. Almost want to give it a go just to see what other sassy options there are.
@Friendly The rules say not to post anything that is personally identifiable... So here, made for such an occasion, hopefully this is okay as it does not identify my person. Email your code to me, and I'll reply with the eternatus one. Or however you'd like. [email protected]
The NA/EU covers look like they're the same but from slightly different perspectives (other side of the same path). The path behind the cow on the NA and in front of the group on EU. Interesting.
Very much yes. Have never played twilight princess, and wind waker is one of my favourite games — not just Zelda, all games. Been on board since the first time these rumors surfaced. So a long time! Haha
I don't really understand what all the negativity in the comments is about here. I liked the article. Overall I feel very similarly to the spirit of the piece — I would like easier access to those previous generations' games that I've already purchased and can no longer play. Does Kate need to have solutions? No, it's a soapbox article, not a technical presentation. Nor should writers of opinion pieces be subjected to constant put- downs, rude remarks, and arguments just because they have a different view or you think it's not practical.
Is this how you respond to hearing an opinion in person? Do better.
Scotch tape, Kleenex, Q-tip, Sticky, Asprin, Advil, Tylenol, Jacuzzi, Zip-Lock, Garmin, Google, Coke, Cheetos, Mr Noodles. (Some will depend where you live)
Sure there's a legal side of things I'll never understand. But when you get so big your brand is used to describe a product, doesn't that mean you made it? Probably a good thing? Decent at least.
Fun idea! I'm too darn busy to properly contribute weekly, but I'll certainly be reading along. This will probably put some more titles on my list to play.
This is like comparing rich and poor kid athletes with the emo kid out by the bins.
Xbox (rich kid) has parents with money to throw around and buy them the best coaches and assistants ever to give them the leg up.
PS (poor kid) is trying admirably and arguably out performing in some areas but just can't quite compare to the competition overall due to the additional assistance the competition can afford.
Nintendo (emo kid by the bins) you shouldn't even ask because they just don't give AF and will continue to do their own thing regardless.
The mechanics of getting team specific items (which I saw someone already mentioned you didn't need both members to get, I always mixed too) and being able to store an item for later I think should make a return. You've always had the ability to have two items, sure, but to continuously bank a red shell in first place while you keep getting coins and bananas is surely missed.
Mario Party Superstars, and more Mario Golf. The "party" type games like these would be a no brainer. Golf got a few more courses and characters, but I'd like to see more proper courses as opposed to the ones we got where "hole 16 is just hitting from 4's tee box onto 12's green" type design. The free stuff was good, but I'd pay for more full courses and characters at this point. It's such a good base, just needs more.
This is wonderful and very informative, thank you for sharing! While I do not personally need to use this service in gaming, I understand these are the steps we need to continue to take to break down some of the barriers and make gaming more inclusive and accepting for everyone. And that makes me excited to continue learning!
Love this, and love that it's becoming more and more of a talking point.
While I don't doubt some of these options aren't easy and could cost a decent amount to implement, I think it should become more standard in the extremely popular and profitable franchises. This way it'll get out to many many people quicker — and in theory they can afford it. I'm thinking Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon as easy targets on Nintendo systems. And once it's been done, they have a strong base to tweak in the future as opposed to having to build an entire accessibility package for the next game.
I don't know the slightest about coding, so I'm sorry if it doesn't work quite like that.
But especially for these large franchises, I'd like to see more options included in every game. It's only going to help then sell more anyways.
It took me a couple months to scrounge up enough money (and convince myself it wouldn't be a setback financially) before purchasing... I do not miss the broke student days.
OG Switch. Got a screen protector and case right away, so it still looks brand new. Been lucky to only have to send in one pair of joy con for drift issues (I have 2 pairs). Been pretty lucky with Nintendo units. Though I'm also very picky about hand hygiene when using my expensive things, so that's certainly helped all around.

Re: Talking Point: So, When Will Nintendo Announce Its Next Console?
Can't be announced in 2023, they haven't even announced the WWHD/TPHD bundle yet.

These are version exclusives right? Wouldn't it be better if they appeared in the version you can't already catch them in?

Re: 75% Of Public Comments On Microsoft's Acquisition Of Activision Were Positive
@NatiaAdamo
Well there we go — thank you!
That makes a ton of sense, but also amplifies the narrow minded COD arguments out there.

For this poll, I'll say Dragon Roost. But really, the whole Wind Waker soundtrack is just brilliant. I find it so relaxing.

I'll have to go tomorrow, if that's fine, but yea let's give it a shot.

Does that work? Yea I will. CA, but same same in this sense.

Personally could use more Zelda.
If you're a farming or rpg fan, though, I'd bet today was a good day.
