I'm hoping that online also supports realtime matches. I enjoy the 'play by mail' approach too, but sometimes I want to chill for 90 minutes or so in a timed clock game.

@Spoony_Tech I don't think the 'Switch tax' is the norm, thankfully, as most eShop games have had sensible pricing either similar to or a tiny amount above Steam prices, for example. Just this week Overcooked Special Edition had a sane price compared to PC (when you consider the DLC included as part of it), and Infinite Minigolf is the same price on all stores.

RiME and the THQ Nordic games have stood out because of the physical retail prices. While RiME will now have a sensible download price but still cost more for the cart, I'm a bit surprised Sine Mora is listed as £24.99 on the eShop too. I'm hoping it's in error (as I said in the article, eShop listings aren't 100% confirmation).

Have asked THQ Nordic to confirm the date anyway.

@Pod It requires two Switch systems, to reproduce the GameCube / GBA setup. I'll check whether both systems need a full copy of the game, but I suspect that'll be the case.

@Discostew Yeah, I seem to find the timing tricky in one section, whereas I'd breeze through it on Wii U; haven't tried the stage in handheld yet to see if it's any different.

@BezBot I think it was shown off at E3 etc, so was likely always planned as an add-on for the launch weekend. It's a way to keep us interested into day three, I suppose!

@Racthet916 I agree some maybe make too much of a deal of it, though not everyone has all those gizmos.

From my perspective, I now always take my Switch on trips, but don't always take my laptop (I don't own a standalone tablet). I can watch Netflix on my phone, of course, but it would be nice to use the bigger screen on the Switch. It's just one of those 'nice to have' things on the go (at home I just use a TV smart app, personally).

I'm sure it's coming. The system is fairly popular right now, good buzz around it, so I suspect companies like Netflix and Amazon are working on it.

@Eric258 I haven't picked up the game yet, but the song gave me some Fire Emblem feels, I think I'll have to take the plunge!

As a bit of extra clarity. In the UK if you can't nail a pre-order, very little chance of getting a unit on day one. It's likely stores will have extremely limited stock, most will only be fulfilling pre-orders (GAME have taken advantage and pushed up the deposit to £50 in some places).
