@Beedrill4Smash Controls are the same either way because you have all the same inputs. In my case I mostly used the Pro Controller and handheld mode, so no reason you can't use a Grip or just chill with the controllers loose in each hand.

@riChchestM I appreciate the sentiment, I do copy and paste pricing but still then edit to make it a bit easier to read (the press release format isn't great).

So I copy what I can, basically, but with the game entries and linking it still takes a while when there are a gazillion discounts and releases. We considered ditching the little descriptions for new releases or using the PR ones, but to be honest I prefer sharing little snippets of our own info + review links. It just takes a little time when there are a lot of releases, and I normally do the NA update first. With all the 'Cyber Deals' this week, the EU one just took 30-40 mins longer than normal.

Re: Review: Kirby Battle Royale (3DS)

@ALinkttPresent As mentioned, it's been out in Europe for 5 days. On top of that even if it was out in NA the servers are region-restricted, so it'd make zero difference for the review.

@alasdair91 It's prettier than those screens suggest, the assets weren't particularly high-res. It's quite good looking overall, occasional flickers but, on the whole, it's an attractive game.

@Azooooz Yep it does, I even said as much in the review

By the way, a couple of comments are thinking this is the same game as 'Pure Chess' on the Wii U / 3DS. It is completely different, albeit it shares a few ideas.

@Mario500 I didn't have anyone specific in mind with my remarks as I've not actually seen who's leaking; hence my comments about the possibility of avoiding leaks because I've been lucky that way, but some have also been unlucky in seeing them unintentionally (like at end of video 'suggestions' by YouTube).

Do I think people that intentionally breach agreements like embargoes are idiots, though? Absolutely. That's my personal opinion on it - when people make unintentional mistakes I can try and understand, but I can't when it's done deliberately. As seen above, too, it causes issues for those wanting to avoid spoilers and prompts some publishers to lash out and punish other outlets.

Re: Video: A New Theory on How Pauline Got Her Name

@PlywoodStick That's true, YouTube can push videos you don't technically subscribe to if it matches subject matter you follow. Fair enough.

@AlexSora89 Yeah, my frustration came out in my comment, because I think people that break embargoes in that way are idiots! While publishers typically appreciate and don't penalise outlets with good records, you get the perception spread by some that every individual / site / channel with early copies will be eejits and leak everything. That's just the internet, I'm afraid.

@AlexSora89 Some people are idiots and will lose review privileges, for our part we always do our utmost to respect embargoes. If people spoil stuff online Nintendo has the right to not give them copies in future.

I heard leaks were online but they've not been in any of my feeds. My point being that who you follow will determine how much gets spoiled for you, and you can control that in future.
