Following on from the world-first Nintendo Switch OLED unboxing, and then the first Nintendo Switch / OLED comparison, we've now got Nintendo's own "official" unboxing of the new model, courtesy of Nintendo Minute's Kit and Krysta.

Obviously, this isn't the unboxing you should watch if you want an unbiased review, but it's pretty professional all the same, albeit basically a glorified press release. The hosts take out the screen and the Joy-Cons, commenting on the screen going "all the way to the edge" and how "different" it is, making sure to mention that the OLED is "bright".

There's not much more to say about the OLED without turning it on, except for the "soft white" of the Joy-Cons, but they take the time to highlight the "different shape" of the power button and the new, larger kickstand that has a "good amount of resistance" no matter the angle, and plenty of sturdiness.

"You can definitely tell that it's new and different," they say, pointing out the new 64GB of memory and the rounded edges of the dock and its removeable back plate, and definitely not just reading off a list of features that they were told to mention.

The Nintendo Minute duo do not switch on the OLED. That's it for the eight-minute unboxing — at least, until the release of the OLED on the 8th of October, by which time Nintendo will have hopefully got up the courage to show us the screen in action themselves.
