Akira, I owe you big time for bringing Dragon Ball, Chrono Triger and Dragon Quest into my life. Can't stop playing Dragon Quest Monsters Dark Prince, your work and art is monumental. I'd even say it's timeless. Thanks again for filling my life with your creativity. Taking this as a life lesson.

Awesome news! I'm really pleased with the game's performance. True, I had a couple of crashes, but the auto-save saved me from bigger headaches.

Overall, I just can't stop playing this DQM, the game is genuinely fascinating. I enjoyed revisiting the maps through the three stages.

I managed to create some monsters with higher ranks, and now the internet is brimming with sites specialized in synthesis. I found this site really good:

I was expecting a lot of folks from the West to obviously criticize and complain about FPS and blah blah blah, but honestly, for me, that's not a big deal. Being able to synthesize so many possibilities just enriches the game so much, especially choosing talents and feeding points - it's just incredible.

Only Pokemon Arceus has topped this. I don't need to play anything else until I surpass Dragon Quest Monsters Dark Prince.

Back in the day on the Game Boy, when I first played DQM, I wondered when will I experience this again? Pokemon is cool, but synthesizing is just so much better...

I'm convinced. I want the next one. I want to know that I'm a hero who will be the greatest murderer. In Pokemon, there's nothing like stealing bread to give to your own mom.

It's simple, this game makes me put super mario RPG, wonder, TOTK (not finish yet) in secondary priority.

The auto battle, fast mode, synthesis, skill tree and the monster rank, oh pal this game makes me put 10 on metacritic score.

It's very good to see a 9.3 on metacritic and makes me think "if you follow every review around internet chaos eventually sometime you will jump from the canyon"

This game is very special. I like to play dragon quest games in big measure because is a great family novel with a genocide old man/father misogyny facist. I playing this with All happy monsters want to kill my father hahahahahahhaha

@BodkinDQ I stop the sea of stars to play only this game. The temple of recollection in fact expand the game experience. The anime parts, I must agree with last comments when someone says that the anime parts is very lazy, i'm agree. But at final the game is good. I prefer to play instead to watch. Watch is very boring for me

Hey it's not a great title, but yes I'm playing since de launch it's very basic but very competent like the article said. I not agree with the poor score. I Think that 6 or 7 it's a better score

RPG without audio dialogue it's very boring in some moments. Who knows when we will hear some voice in Pokemon games
