I really hope they plan on restocking Kirby. I amazingly haven't been able to find one since launch.

I definitely think N64 Classic is coming, but it made a lot of sense to not release it this season, for a couple of reasons. 1) It would have been directly competing with Pokemon: Let's Go and Smash Ultimate, and 2) It would have been directly competing with the Playstation Classic. No sense in releasing the N64 Classic in such a hotly-contested Holiday season when they can just hold off until next year.

I mean, I personally wouldn't have had the money for an N64 Classic , so I'm ok with it not releasing right now.

Crazy enough, the Wii U list is actually probably the strongest overall list of games here.

Hey, I gotta give Sony some credit. They put up a better fight against Nintendo in the handheld market than anyone else ever has. The PSP in particular sold fairly well and had some classic games on it.

Must be nice having that much money to just throw around stupidly.

I will 100% buy remasters of the first two games. Do it!

This is one of the few multiplatform games that I will be getting for my Switch instead of my PS4 or Xbox. Star Fox's inclusion sold me.

All we need now is Geno and this game will feature probably the three most requested Smash characters since Brawl.

I still play my 3DS almost daily, and I've had it since 2011. The library is already enormous and good games are STILL releasing for it.
It's the best handheld system ever.

There is no doubt this will be the last Smash Bros. game for a long, long time. With as much content as they seem to be packing into this, I think we'll be good for the next decade haha.

My 3DS is still a regular part of my gaming hobby. 7 years and still chugging right along. Nintendo's best handheld system ever.

I used to be the same way. I would often lean toward buying PS3 games JUST because they had an easy list of trophies to achieve.

Over the years though, the obsession faded and now I'm back to buying games simply because I'm interested in playing them. I still enjoy earning trophies and achievements and love the added challenges that they provide, but they no longer dictate the games I play and I no longer obsess over "100 percenting" games through them.

That said, I would love to see Nintendo implement their own unique take. How cool would it be to earn new profile avatars or home menu themes by completing in-game challenges? Now THAT would be something to obsess over and have a lot of fun with.

At this point, you just plain don't like making money if you don't port your game to the Switch. Hottest console on the market and you're not bringing a remastered collection of games to it? Lol, ok then.

Question is: Is this the third version of Smash 4, or are we looking at Smash 5? This trailer potentially hints at an all new game, but there's definitely not enough concrete evidence yet.

Always difficult to predict what we will see in the pre-E3 Directs. I'm assuming the heavy-hitters like Smash Bros. for Switch, Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon Switch will be saved for E3, so it's hard to think of what major announcements might come out of this. Hope there's a surprise or two.

I just don't understand why My Nintendo can't offer free Virtual Console games like Club Nintendo used to. It can't possibly be that much of a burden on Nintendo's wallet to offer me a free download of Metroid for 50 gold coins. Like come on. I get that this rewards system is free, but you have to actually give me some incentive to give a damn.

I want to get Doom for my Switch soooooo bad, but that $60 price is keeping me away. I know Switch games tend to be pricier than the competition, but 60 bones is a bit much for a game that I can get on Xbox/PS4 for 20. Soon as it drops to the $40 range, I'll pick it up in a heartbeat.

Makes no sense that Netflix isn't on Switch yet. None at all. Hottest console on the market right now and they're just cool with missing out on those dollars?

Fire Emblem, Super Mario Advance 4, Metroid: Fusion and Metroid: Zero Mission will forever be my four favorites on the GBA. Absolute gaming perfection right there.

I missed out on Bayonetta 1 and 2, so I'm pretty excited to see those get a re-release on Switch. Also very much looking forward to Mario Tennis Aces, Octopath Traveler and plenty of others.

But there is one clear choice for me when it comes to top tier hype levels: Metroid Prime 4. I NEEEEEEEEED IT!

I really hope they put a lot of effort into the inevitable Mario Party 11 on Switch. I miss when this series was really good.

Definitely seems like this should be a $20 eShop release, not a full $40 retail one.

Looks like Sonic Generations and Sonic Colors are still the kings of modern Sonic games. Really seemed like SEGA was onto something with those two games, but it's been downhill since.

Hard to believe a decade has already passed. I remember first playing Mario Galaxy like it was yesterday.

Can't wait to pick up Mario Odyssey this weekend (finally!) and see how it compares.

These numbers should finally open Nintendo's eyes. Your fans have money just waiting to be thrown at you. Make enough stock of your products and you WILL profit heavily.

Keep pumping out SNES Classics, bring back tons of NES Classics next year and have 5 million N64 Classics ready to go for launch next Fall.

I'm very interested in getting this because I still haven't gotten a FIFA game since FIFA 2002 on Gamecube. Seems like a great handheld game to have.

Was able to get one rather easily. Got in line at Wal-Mart an hour and half before midnight, so it wasn't too long of a wait. Last year, my Wal-Mart got 6 NES Classics, but they had 26 SNES Classics this time. Guess Nintendo was serious about producing more this time.

My only issue is the price. $8 for 30-year-old games? Really, Nintendo?

I have not played the original Star Fox since I was a wee lad, so I'm also very much looking forward to playing it. The previously unreleased sequel too!

Hope Crystal gets a release, since I've still never gotten to play it.

My only guess for why they're not releasing it at the same time as Gold and Silver is that they're hoping more people will "double dip" if they hold off for a few months. I mean hey, it's gonna work on me. If Crystal was launching on the eShop alongside Gold and Silver, I would probably only get Crystal. But since it's not, I'll be downloading one of the other two, and I'll still get Crystal if they release it later.

His answer totally contradicts the success of Sonic Mania. That game was what the fans wanted and hoped for, and it ended up being a huge hit. Making Sonic Adventure 3 is the next logical step.

If they want to keep making totally new games like Sonic Forces, that's fine. But I don't see why those games can't coexist with ones that revisit the classics.

Really hope Metroid: Samus Returns at least hits 1 million in sales worldwide. I want this series back for good this time.

Just bought this for my Wii U last year, so I'm not double-dipping. If they would have just added the new characters and modes as DLC for the Wii U version, that would have been good enough for me. But $60 for those extras? No thanks.

This is fantastic news..... but I'm not ready to celebrate yet. Once I actually have a NES and SNES Classic physically in my possession, after having paid the normal price for them, THEN I'll be satisfied.

I've been seeing great reviews for this game all over the place. Metroid is back, baby.

Now everyone....... GO OUT AND BUY IT.

Hope they say SOMETHING about Virtual Console on Switch. ANYTHING.
