Re: Blizzard Clarifies Switch Online Membership Won't Be Required To Play Diablo III's Seasons Mode

Super_Gravy

For those do not know what season is, its an feature that you start over to level one for the season and try get to max level, beat trials and etc. Once the season is over, your character will be added to your normal mode with added paragon experiences. The reasons why you should try start in seasons because you get bonus and an chance to get cosmetics that you cannot get in normal mode.

After the season is over, the "exclusive gears" that you can obtain by picking up in season will be added to normal mode so you not miss any gears if you did miss an season. Cosmetics may be missable.

This is good for people who have times to play the season.

Re: It Turns Out Blizzard Won't Actually Be Adding Cross-Platform Play To Diablo III

Super_Gravy

I been following Diablo 3 developments and there's a lot of stuffs. I was surprised that they wanted to make an cross-play since they have said that they don't want PC to connect with PS4 at the time. Now this make even more sense. The reasons why they don't want cross play for PC to PS4 at the time because of the season features. PC is always online while the PS4 can be played offline therefore they don't want people on PS4 to be cheating.

But you could argue cross-play between all the consoles are different story from PC to console.

Re: Former Telltale Employee Takes Legal Action Following Mass Layoffs

Super_Gravy

When the bankruptcy happens, the bank try to recover all the assets that's include office, desks, computers, and etc. Which is why employees usually try to grab the things they wanted before leaving the company. Also bankruptcy usually wipe record of debt free quickly which is another mess when the employees is suing the company.

Which is why its important for employees to sue right away but... owners usually keep quiet about the lay off to prevent further losses. Also there are laws that prevent employees suing bankrupt companies.

So... yeah its an touchy subject now.

Re: Video: It Looks Like The Controversial Fire Hopping Trick Has Been Removed From Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Super_Gravy

For those wondering why this isn't patched in the original its because Nintendo doesn't want to remove exploits in generally. Only way for Nintendo is to patch the exploits is by making port or next game without them.

Remember Mario Kart 7 glitch with track skipping?

"We are aware that it is possible to navigate a certain part of the track in Wuhu Island in a way that allows a large part of the course to be bypassed. There are no plans to update the game to remove this shortcut as doing so would create an unfair advantage for the users of the original release of the game."

Also Sakurai the Smash Bros developer doesn't like the Melee players play and added tripping to Super Smash Bros Brawl. This is an quote by Sakurai below.

"If we direct Smash ONLY at the competitive players, it will have no future."

I'm not surprised if they did bring Melee back in remaster form will remove wavedashing and other "exploits".

My point is that they knowledges exploits are there but don't want to lose all those fans that are competitive. Which is why they trying to fix Smash Bros 4 without tripping and added omega stages.

Re: "No Widespread Technical Problems" With Switch Joy-Cons, Claims Nintendo

Super_Gravy

Well... we have an issues with the left Joy-Con but you really have to put stuffs in front of the Nintendo Switch. Our workaround is literally put the Switch on the floor facing us without the coffee table in the way. My friends and I have four switches therefore we have four Joy-Con. We all have this problem with left Joy-Con. The issue wasn't a big deal for all four of us but I can see its a big deal for many people.

I would say its a problem in my own opinion.

Re: SEGA Unveils New Footage and Details on Sonic Mania

I was hoping they iron out the bugs in the game since I encounter some bugs in the demo. I talk to some of the old school fans and apparently most of the bugs I found are from the original Genesis games. Maybe they are actually using an old engine to make this game?

"In a July 2011 interview, Nintendo's Amber McCollum stated that select GameCube titles would be made available for download on the Wii U console via the Wii U's own Nintendo eShop."

And look up Amber McCollum Nintendo and Gamecube VC news links are everywhere but most of them are in rumours so... I guess your point is still valid.
