Re: The Jackbox Party Pack 3 Announced For Nintendo Switch

Super_Gravy

First two games are actually pretty fun if you got a bunch of people with smartphones. We usually play it every time if more than five people come over.

A warning for everyone that planning to get this game, this game required internet connection as well all your smartphone users. I recommend them to get on your guest wireless network so they won't waste their bandwidth to play this game. The reason behind this is that your smartphone users can connect to your game and use their screen to answer or draw. Its depend on the games and the most is hundred players (but that's game suck in my opinion) then eight players. Most common games are usually 4 or 6 players.

Yea I think its mostly metal for Nintendo Switch. Its hard and durable. But I disagreed with you on Joy-con sideway. I feel Wiimote sideway is better than Joy-con sideway but Joy-con did have extra two shoulder buttons if you don't count the extra minus or plus button on the wiimote.

Oh by the way guys, the plus and minus on the Nintendo Switch are actually buttons. I didn't know that until I tried it out.

1) I am not sure if you are talking about handheld mode or only one joy-con controller but I answer for both. The weight of handheld mode is a bit heavier than iPad in generally. As for joy-con controller, I feel awkward with two hand since the controller is literally in the palm of your hand. I was playing Bomberman R and Sonic Mania and its not bad since you only need one button. I don't know about more complex game that required more than one buttons. But I tried the demo of ARMS and its actually work pretty good in one hand. Only issue, I have with ARMS is that sometimes its hard to press the ZR and R or ZL and L button since the buttons are small. You use L to dash and R to jump. One of the ZR or ZL is to use special.

2) I tried doing this myself and its pretty easy once you get hang of it. First time, I wasn't lining up then I got the hand of it. Pulling it out of the dock is the easiest part in my opinion.

By the way, you might have to press ZL and ZR buttons if you pull it out of the dock or put it in since you can change controller. For example, I put it in the dock then I can press ZL and ZR buttons on the Pro controller to use the Pro controller.

Re: Wii Owners Are Upgrading To PlayStation 4, Claims Sony

Super_Gravy

@Damo You do have a point but I still agreed with Play-Doh_25 but it is a good poll regardless. Most of the gamers don't usually hang around in "Nintendo", "Microsoft", and "Sony" fan sites. But unfortunately for me that I do not have an evidence to back up my claim though.

Re: Guide: Using Miiverse And The Nintendo Network ID On Your 3DS

Super_Gravy

@tripunktoj: I think you are right since I check all my games and I have them all in my download list. I think I did download Hulu Plus in the past so that may be an N/A title in my download list. If so then what are the other two? The world may never know! XD

I got no Demo in my download list which is no big deal for me.

Re: Guide: Using Miiverse And The Nintendo Network ID On Your 3DS

Super_Gravy

@tripunktoj: I haven't change region at all with my 3DS but I did linked a NNID and still have those games and it is included in my download list BUT I got an message that say "This software is currently unavailable." and its included Pokedex 3D as well. I don't know if this is important but I created an NNID on Wii U first a while ago then link the 3DS to NNID today.

I can play them but I don't know if I can redownload them since I have that message in my download list. (I still have all those games in my 3DS menu.) I don't want to take a chance to delete them and try to download them again.
I don't know if this help you at all.

I noticed there are 3 N/A title in my download list. I going find out what they are.

Re: Nintendo Applies Minor Miiverse Update on Wii U and Web Versions

Super_Gravy

@theblackdragon: Well I have no fuss about this update but I do have an fuss about spoilers in generally by Miiverse. It is not simple as "don't just read the posts" since those posts can happened in-game. Sure I can disable the Miiverse feature for that game but I will be missing out extra items, pictures, and features in some games such as Sonic Lost World and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

Do you understand what I trying to say?

Re: Nintendo Applies Minor Miiverse Update on Wii U and Web Versions

Super_Gravy

@rjejr: Well there are two options: neither disable Miiverse completely or cross your finger and hoping that you will not be spoiled.

The problem is that some games such as Sonic Lost World and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker use items and pictures. You can get tingle bottle and get an picture and put it in the Nintendo Gallery. You can get items from a lot of people for free in Sonic Lost World. If you disabled the Miiverse then you will miss out those features. There are some tingle bottles that INCLUDED spoilers WITHOUT spoiler tag attached. I haven't got spoiled by Sonic Lost World from items sharing yet.

I thinking about disabling Miiverse for Super Mario 3D World since there are a lot of "stamp only" posts and spoilers. I don't see any extra features requiring Miiverse unlike The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Sonic Lost World for Super Mario 3D World.

Re: Guide: Using Miiverse And The Nintendo Network ID On Your 3DS

Super_Gravy

@QBertFarnsworth: You can redeem those points for eShop credit and use it for 3DS even before the Nintendo ID update. But buying 3DS downloads would not count towards the DDP points at all.

I think it is hardware related since Nintendo Wii U Basics should do the DDP if 3DS can do DDP after the update.

@Unit_DTH: You are not an only one so far. Look at previous comments by other users.

Re: Guide: Using Miiverse And The Nintendo Network ID On Your 3DS

Super_Gravy

@Thomas WhiteHead: I know you stated it in the article but if you pick 3DS Mii then not only Wii Sport Club is affected but also Nintendo Land as well. I lost all "personal" data for that Mii. Other Mii in the game are not affected.

In other word, you going lose all the stamps and trophies for that Mii but you won't lose stars or prizes since it is part of the game data.

Re: Shovel Knight Digs Up a Few Surprise Features

Super_Gravy

@SirQuincealot: That may be possible. Sound cool and maybe other players got power to help you.I don't mind ghost run and Super Mario 3D Land speed run records doesn't count as ghost run since you can't see how they did it.

PS: One guy somehow beat every level in 5 seconds according to my Streetpass record... Kinda lame and ruins the fun for me.
