I feel like it'll be a nice program for them. In a world where a bunch of social media apps exist right now, it's cool to see some new ideas brought in. Although I think the idea is a little close to to what formspring used to do.
I sort of imagined the app to be like the app that was in Gatchaman Crowds.
I really hope this picks up as another Competitive fighter. There aren't many Arena fighters in the competitive scene right now, so I'd love for this to be it.
You know it'd be kinda neat if Nintendo rebooted Sheriff. There is a real lack of cowboy games out there.
Although couldn't we technically say Dillion's Rolling Western is a reboot? Don't you keep enemies out of your territory in that game? (I never actually played it)
Such a great handheld. It was like a pocket SNES. I think a lot of franchises had their best games on there too. Like the Sonic Advance series, Mega Man Zero and Battle Network, Castlevania Advance games, updated ports of a lot of SNES titles, so many good games. -sniffle-
I would've bought two copies if it meant I could play co-op again. Co-op was fun on the Wii U aside from the horrible framerate and enemy count drop. I would think having two dedicated N3DS's would fix that.
@JaxonH They must have changed it like immediately after this review was posted. Because I actually checked the price again before I posted my comment. Weird.
I mostly want to have physical discs because I don't want to have to rely on a server to download my games whenever I want to play them. I am also a collector so I like having all those physical games displayed on a shelf neatly and alphabetically.
So thanks for punishing retail purchasers Nintendo. Although I'm sure they want to move to an all digital future because they could shut down a lot of manufacturing deals if they did that. Might even drop the price of games if they didn't have to manufacture them as well as develop them.
As much as I would like VR. It just seems like a "neat" thing to me and I definitely wouldn't consider passing up how I play games now for it. I don't think it's the future of gaming.
The NX though, depending on want it is, I'll probably buy. I'm pretty loyal to Nintendo.
I feel like that after they showed us that last gameplay footage they had to scrap a lot of ideas and start over, hence the delay. They had a good base game when they showed us footage, but I don't think they were decided on story and dungeons and such yet.
I knew they would do this when I saw they were gonna have a huge SEGA panel at SXSW. I am going to SXSW but sadly I don't think I can stay long enough to see the announcement live.
It's cool Yuji Naka will be there. Maybe they will let him direct the new Sonic game?
I had a game idea that involved circling creatures a few times in order to catch them. Then I realized this game existed and is pretty much that concept.
@Nintendood Oh I'm well aware they have made good ones before. Batman: The Brave and the Bold is pretty decent. I own a lot of Wayforward games, I try to buy things with their logo on it because I want them to know they have my support.
@DarthNocturnal Vivendi owned a big piece of Activision Blizzard at the time. I figure that's how Swingin' Ape was brought in to help with StarCraft. Since Vivendi published Metal Arms.
I remember when Vivendi and Activison ate Sierra. Sierra is just now coming back from it. They made a lot of games I liked as a kid. One i wish would get a sequel is Metal Arms.
The problem with Nintendo IPs is that they either 1) have little to no story or 2) rely on the main character being mute the entire game. The only games I see making good experiences are Metroid as a suspense space flick or maybe a grim and dark F-zero film with Captain Falcon's origins as a bounty hunter.
I think Nintendo being secretive is very important at this time. If I remember right, they announced the Wii U and instantly people started giving it a bad image thanks to all these devs and publishers chiming in on how "horrible" the system was. By keeping the thing secret, they can 1) Force devs to keep quiet about the specs and such and 2) keep people guessing on what it might be so they don't decide on their decision to purchase to early on.

Re: New Capcom Survey Points to Potential Future Plans for the Mega Man IP
I would want a new Mega Man X game in the vein of X4 or something like that.
Mega Man Star Force 4 would be amazing.
Re: MercurySteam Reunites With Castlevania Producer Dave Cox For New Secret Project
Reminds me more of fallout for some reason.
Curious as to what the title is though and how far it may have come from it's Metroid pitch.

Re: Hardware Review: Pokkén Tournament Pro Pad by Hori
You say it wasn't that expensive in the UK but here in america it's like 50 bucks.
I do like knowing it works on the PC. might be nice for some PC fighting games.

JUMPU!!!
Re: Video: Watch The Conclusion Of The 'Guess the amiibo' Mini-Series
I feel like they are getting old. Must be hard for them to hold those poses.

Re: Axiom Verge Confirmed for Wii U Release Later This Year
Oh perfect. Glad I waited on the PS4 version. I'd totally play this game off screen.
Re: River City Ransom SP is Looking Fighting Fit in Latest Trailer
I like what they are doing with this series.
Re: Nintendo Handheld Patent Focuses on Infrared and Gesture Recognition Technology
That's actually really cool. Although it definitely requires a bit of imagination.
What they would need to add is maybe a powerful fan that shoots a gust of air at your hand whenever an object is coming toward it.
Even better they should have a palm gadget with a screen on it to show the object you are holding. Maybe a holograph?
Re: Poll: Which Is The Best Mario Spin-Off Series or Game?
I don't think there is much of a contest here. Paper Mario and Mario Kart should be at the top of the list for most people.
Re: Review: Super Mario World (New 3DS / SNES)
I just love the art style in Super Mario World. Nothing really looks like it today.

Re: Video: The Mashiko Mystery Mushroom Outfit in Super Mario Maker is Evidently Self Aware
@ThomasBW84 I think instead of a telesales lady maybe she's meant to be one of those Nintendo Game Play Counselors.
Re: Abylight Is Bringing The Award-Winning AfterZoom To The 3DS eShop
I could see it being fun but it looks like its meant for educational stuff.
Re: Mario Kart TV Website Confirmed for Closure on 5th April
I wish we got more DLC for MK8...
You know, like actual battle courses.
Re: Takashi Tezuka Began Development On Zelda: Link's Awakening Without Nintendo's Permission
And he made one of the top 3 Zelda games because of it.
Man the story in this game is so deep without really much exposition.

Dreams crushed ;-;
Re: Star Fox Zero Launching April 22nd on Wii U
The fact that it comes with Project Guard means I wont' feel bad when I beat it too fast.
Re: No Disney Infinity 4.0 In 2016, But Support For 3.0 Will Continue Via New Play Sets
Is Disney Inifinity worth for someone who doesn't really like designing levels but enjoys playing story modes and stuff?
Re: Mega Man Legacy Collection Busts Into Japanese Charts as Nintendo Hardware Sales Climb
Licensed titles seem to sell at lot better in Japan than here.
Although that Kamen Rider game does appear to be a dynasty warriors style game, which are popular over there.

I like hand drawn things
Re: Feature: Why We're Still Playing... Star Fox 64 / 3D
Need to put up an article about Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon and Kid Icarus Uprising because people seem to forget those games exist.
Re: Hands On: How Indie Hit Terraria Is Building Multiplayer Mayhem Into Its Wii U Port
@clvr I think it is either a developers console or a really old version.
Re: Video: Zelda U Easter Egg Found Within Twilight Princess HD
@gcunit Technically if they used all new images we probably wouldn't have noticed them.
Re: Weirdness: This Is Conker As You've Never Seen Him Before, And Won't Ever Want To Again
The weirdest part is the "Young Conker" looks older and more deformed than "Old Conker"
Re: Tadpole Treble is Expected to Launch in March on the Wii U eShop
I was curious as to when this would hit the eShop. Very happy he was able to get the game out.

I guess Q Games is getting a good relation with Nintendo again. I wonder if we'll ever get a Croc series sequel.
