Re: The Game Boy Advance is Now 15 Years Old

Such a great handheld. It was like a pocket SNES. I think a lot of franchises had their best games on there too. Like the Sonic Advance series, Mega Man Zero and Battle Network, Castlevania Advance games, updated ports of a lot of SNES titles, so many good games. -sniffle-

Re: Poll: Are You Ready to Download More of Your Retail Games From the eShop?

Spin

I mostly want to have physical discs because I don't want to have to rely on a server to download my games whenever I want to play them. I am also a collector so I like having all those physical games displayed on a shelf neatly and alphabetically.

So thanks for punishing retail purchasers Nintendo. Although I'm sure they want to move to an all digital future because they could shut down a lot of manufacturing deals if they did that. Might even drop the price of games if they didn't have to manufacture them as well as develop them.

I had a game idea that involved circling creatures a few times in order to catch them. Then I realized this game existed and is pretty much that concept.

Dreams crushed ;-;

@Nintendood Oh I'm well aware they have made good ones before. Batman: The Brave and the Bold is pretty decent. I own a lot of Wayforward games, I try to buy things with their logo on it because I want them to know they have my support.

Re: Ori and the Blind Forest Director Criticises Secrecy and Lack of Access to NX Devkits

I think Nintendo being secretive is very important at this time. If I remember right, they announced the Wii U and instantly people started giving it a bad image thanks to all these devs and publishers chiming in on how "horrible" the system was. By keeping the thing secret, they can 1) Force devs to keep quiet about the specs and such and 2) keep people guessing on what it might be so they don't decide on their decision to purchase to early on.
