Super Mario Maker has had a good mix of familiar and lesser known characters in its regular Event Course unlocks, and the next in line is certainly in the latter category.

Having seen the latest video on Nintendo's Japanese channel we had trouble figuring out who it was, so hat tip to Perfectly Nintendo for the details. The cute pixel you can see below is Yuu Ayasaki, voice actress for Super Mario Maker manual guide Mashiko / Mary-o, and also a recognisable star from 3DS title Daigasso! Band Brothers P; that game hasn't made it to the West.

This event course and character land in Japan (and very likely everywhere else too) on 21st March; check them out below.

I love how you can just google this character's name and the first thing that pop is is a character that look exactly like her and stars in a hentai. Then again, I always have safe search off.

But if she's a fictional anime character with blue hair and giant saucer-like eyes, how can she be the voice actor of ANOTHER fictional character in the form of Mashiko/Mary-O? If we start to have cartoon characters voicing each other, where does it stop!?

And... she's a LITTLE bigger than a single, "cute pixel" isn't she?

Im not gonna lie....after Nintendo has deleted a good chunk of my uploaded quality levels...Im pretty demotivated to play this game anymore.

Sigh...... more costumes that will appeal to weeaboos. Not that I hate this costume, but it's annoying when stuff like this attracts anime fans on Miiverse or any other sites.

All I want for Super Mario Maker now is a Super Mario Bros. 2 tile set with the ability to have levels go straight up and down. Is this too much to ask?
