I prefer to play this the way it was meant to be played on a handheld.

Analogue Pocket is perfect for this era.

I really hope they plan to drop this type of patch for all of the games over the next several months.

I would buy this instantly if in English.

These games were so much fun and if it also led to Mystical Ninja and Goemon's Great Adventure re-releasing that would be even better.

I always forget if Xenoblade is considered third party or not.

Hopefully it isn't and we will get some form of Switch 2 update for at least one of the games.

They clearly had the rights to the IP because there's no way they are using Linda Hamilton's face, Patrick's face, all the music they are and even sound effects without getting sued if they didn't have licensing.

@user0 Laziness. In fairness Skyrim is clunky AF so you wouldn't notice it as much as a game with a smooth engine.

Nice, this was hard to play on Switch 2 because of the poor resolution. when handheld.

So frustrating the slow drip of Switch to Switch 2 patches.

Even if Nintendo just boosted handheld mode play to 1080p it would be something to tide us over.

Hard to feel too bad if sales are behind given they'd have sold a ton if they either did a Switch 2 patch or found a way in game to allow 1080p in handheld mode.

Sure dev kits are hard to get back that doesn't stop a developer from pushing handheld to be 1080p themselves.

Edit: I'm fortunate to have a Legion Go S so bought these games on Steam but my preference would have been Switch 2.

What a great time for them to consider bringing it out in NA.

It's so frustrating and causes me to just get them on PC since there's zero ETA for proper Switch 2 patches.

You have to figure if this game doesn't sell Playtonic is toast as it will probably be 5+ years before they can get another game out.

@SpaceboyScreams having played a ton on PC she's not as bad as you'd think.

I grew to like her.

Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar is probably the best farming game in the last 15 years that isn't Stardew Valley and the best one since Stardew Valley.

It's so so good.

Just not even remotely worth the price to play a far lesser version.

This is a $29.99 game max that even then is hard to justify at that price on Switch 2.

This doesn't surprise me one bit.

Ubisoft has zero quality control these days and the Switch 2 as awesome as it is for first party isn't impressing me much with the ports we've seen.

Sure Cyberpunk is impressive given its a handheld but that's still a rough running game overall.

It's 2025 and 60 fps at 1080p shouldn't be that difficult.

Not really sure what you're talking about but many games can play on Switch at 1080p when docked but are locked to 720p handheld.

The Switch 2 is 1080p handheld meaning you could tell a Switch game to act like it's playing in docked mode on the Switch 2 when in fact you're playing handheld to benefit from the better resolution so stuff isn't blury.

Sigh....another Switch game that will likely look terrible on Switch 2 when playing handheld.

Nintendo really needs to patch the console to display 1080p when in Handheld mode.

Terrible they didn't do updates to the base game.

The soundtrack is truly awful.

It's basically the same sounding songs over and over and they aren't good.

Shame to be honest they didn't add in more from the first two games.

Two terrible games that years later look to run like complete trash.

Why even bother?

So frustrating that a company for a handheld hybrid would cheap out on arguably the most important piece when viewing in handheld.

How can a Vita from over a decade ago have a better screen?

I really wish for the open world side of things they made it a bit more like Diddy Kong Racing or somehow added in a story where you drive to different locations and encounter random battles and races by meeting Bowser as an example on the streets.

Exploring the world is not really fun at all.

Still a very solid game but I just don't see the appeal of the open world.

I'm trying to remember if games will naturally perform better on Switch 2 without an actual enhancement patch.

For example is Doom Eternal going to run better on Switch 2 even though there's no patch that is designed to boost visuals and framerate.

Love this studio but they haven't released a game in years and the first game they announce after the second Yooka game is a Remake of the first which I still feel was a terrible decision vs a new IP.

Hope the Remake sells well but they need to get that out asap.

Hate when companies do this. I actually love seeing credits show respect to both teams as someone who actually designed a level deserves a shout out more than someone who copied it to look better in 2025.

Hopefully we will get a couple of game surprises or see Switch games running with better performance on the new console.

I hope we get a real Virtual Console again as well vs the slow drip we have seen with NSO.

Ah yes, all the games Ubisoft had to skip Switch due to the lack of power now years later becoming available on Nintendo's newest console likely with less features for 45% more than you can buy them elsewhere where they also aren't selling.

I 100% believe Eric as well which is why if after all the after launch support he has given this game I would gladly pay $10 for it.

@Maulbert I still remember playing Rogue Squadron for the first time. It was stunning to play and so much fun to chase medals.

Kind of nuts they haven't done an HD Remaster collection on Switch or resurrected the IP with a new game/reboot as online dog fights would be amazing.

I don't consider Squadron's a true sequel/successor but it was amazing to play in VR.

See more streaming apps on Switch 2? You mean any at all? The Switch didn't even have Netflix lol.

David Doak and many of the returning members are all class acts and this just sucks to see as it was a chance to finally get a next gen Timesplitters which likely would have really had a chance to shine if given the time to make. Curious how far into development it was and if it can be saved somehow.

After what feels like ten years of hearing about Sea of Stars this game better be decent.

Maybe, just maybe Harvest Moon can still launch a solid game.

The framerate looks absolutely awful but hopefully they can get it running smooth for PC and powerful consoles.

Always willing to give my old friend Harvest Moon a try.
