@Captain_Toad Vigilante 8 and Twisted Metal not having iterations in years is a gaming crime. Nobody does games like those and imagine a 30 person Battle Royale mode in a Twisted Metal or Vigilante 8 game. Would be a blast.

Would be fantastic to see a Tony Hawk HD collection on Switch and a soft reboot returning to the first games design for everyone. Sadly Tony hasn't been involved in over a decade and the last game all but killed the name.

@YoshiTails I can't quite say it's the best all time for me but it's damn close. Chrono Cross and FF7 are up there too for me. Grandia 2 is severely underrated though. Hope these sell extremely well and we get a good follow up.

I'll believe it when I see it. Gung Ho is a terrible developer who can't even do PR properly.

I bought a copy for Switch and Xbox one today to see which is better.

I know the Switch won't be as nice graphically but hope it plays well.

Damn, beautiful weekend outside, I have a massive swimming pool and I'll be playing a ton of Doom games, Fire Emblem Three Houses and maybe if I get bored of those some Wolfenstein Younblood....damn.

Man, I was starting to worry that side scrolling Castlevania style games were going away on the Switch. So glad we have yet another one.

So glad I didn't buy this money grab mediocre product. The fact they didn't release any footage outside of their obviously enhanced trailer shows they don't even believe in it.

Very confused. Half the reviews I've seen and the more trustworthy when it comes to performance Digital Foundry talk about how poorly the game runs especially docked.

I wish we could get the Snes version of Theme Park on Switch. Such a good game.

Another game saying that it was inspired by Zelda that is nothing like it. Maybe I'll start saying my dumps are inspired by Zelda and sell them.

This is a stupid release if you ask me. You can no longer use different joycons that connect to the Switch.....if you want to play a game that allows splitting up 2 Joycons to play in tabletop mode you then need a full second set of Joycons....it doesn't connect to a TV at all and it has a smaller screen. The entire purpose of this console and the hype around it when announced was that it would connect to a TV or allow you to play on the go. Just seems like a total screw up for Nintendo just like going from the Wii to the Wii U was moronic and cost them a ton of console sales.

It's easy to sum up. This game will be better than anything Natsume makes in the farming sim genre but won't be anywhere near as good as Stardew Valley. Stardew Valley is my go to now and I just long for the eventual sequel.

Was close to buying this but checked out peoples opinions on Steam and it just seemed like a giant chore to play. I'll stick to the real life Sim games like Stardew Valley and the classic HM games. Too much stuff out or coming out to waste my time on this game.

@Jonnyblond translation. I suck at games and since only awful gamers play Realm Royale I win therefore its fun.

@dacangri12 I would love to see the list of the other Battle Royale games you have played to qualify your statement.

I used to get hyped up every year at E3 and other gaming shows for news on Banjo, Conker and Perfect Dark. Thinking one day we'd get a new iteration of these once household gaming franchises.

Now I just truly want Rare to go away and stop.

They continue to spit on these games and they should be ashamed of themselves.

It took them 4 plus years to come up with what Sea of Thieves was at launch which is also embarrassing.

Damn the dev for using a Timesplitter's style FONT. Thought this was a Timesplitter's HD collection on Switch for a moment.

@Lizuka I coudn't agree more. Harvest Moon 64 was incredible and then Back to Nature was just as good but added some awesome things that made the game bigger and deeper.

That art style was the best as well and I wish they would just make an HD updated version with the depth of items and crops that Stardew Valley offered.

Please be a Mario Golf that follows along the lines of Mario Golf 64. A Metroid Prime Trilogy sneak release and Mother collection would also be awesome as would a new 3D DK game following DK 64. Make it happen Big N.

@Painkiller_Mike didn't say that at all. Just agreed with you they many of their reviews seem high. Personally I don't come here for reviews though. I come for news etc. The odd indie review is handy here and there on this site though.

Hey, just curious. If I owned it on PC and decided to buy it on Switch can I still link my accounts after or can I only link a free Switch account to my PC account? I don't want to double dip it I can't link if I buy and can only link using the future free version on Switch.

Zoomed through the video as almost everything looks like total trash. 2018 will probably be the best year ever for INDIE games on Switch.

So I used the HI Rez launcher on PC and bought the founders pack there. That means I can get access to everything I owned on PC from years ago on the Switch version without paying anything to play on Switch correct?

@dublae when sites put the final date of the year as a release it is a placeholder dare and nowhere near official.

@PrincessBowsette all well and good but seeing 50 sites saying that Primes release has been leaked is comical and honestly embarrassing for the industry. The world has enough dweebs following around celebs to see them eating and walking their dogs, we don't need that crap in gaming.

This is likely one of those situations where the interviewer and interviewe got crossed up and the answer got lost. I'd expect a retraction in this statement if it gains traction. No way Nintendo ever leaves the console market or handheld market.

Of course it all would depend on what the upgrade would give you with a more powerful Switch but I'm all in on it. I've absolutely loved my Switch far more than I ever thought I would and can't wait to get if I'm lucky a second Zelda game and if really lucky HD ports of the 3DS OoT and Majora's Mask. Nintendo hands down has the best first party franchises to offer it's just a question of will they continue to actually dust them off?

@westman98 played the first 2 several times through and from what I've seen if this game its awful and very much looks like a cash grab phone game.

I'd rather have the first 2 than the mobile phone looking third entry. The new game will be trash compared to the originals.

The game is a total joke on all consoles and PC and barely runs stable on a high end pc like all other early access trash.

There needs to be much much harsher and stronger rules on this new early access garbage train tons of Devs are on. Games either never come out of EA or when they do they are no better than launch. Full refunds should be issued if a game doesn't leave early access status within a year of initial launch in a reasonable state.

I've played Go Vacation for a couple of hours so far and it's honestly fun. It's worth the price and will be a great party game. I'm not sure why people expected a GOTY experience....that's not what these games are meant to be.

This really is a fantastic game. Highly recommend people pick it up on PS4 if you own both it and a Switch but it's a decent port for Switch as well.

Wii Sports as awesome but considering this game comes out in less than a month and nobody has done a single hands on preview I expect this to flop hard and be riddled with issues and glitches. I hope I'm wrong and it's just as fun as Wii Sports and Sports Resorts was.

Great game but just not worth the $50 CDN. This game considering it's almost a year late should have been $19.99-$29.99 MAX.
