When it comes to their IP's most people are pirating the games that are not accessible in the West. So instead of crying on social media they could localize those games and put them for sale outside of Japan.
I'm against piracy if there are legal ways to access the games, otherwise you are forcing people to resort to piracy...

I was waiting for the new Fire Emblem to upgrade my OLED. Might get a Switch 2 next month before the price increase.

Jedi Survivor doesn't run well on PC, can't imagine how a Switch 2 port would perform...

I love Mario games for the gameplay. The story is basically non-existent so I don't care about Mario movies and I don't expect them to be good either.

@Kazman2007 It looks like this time they put on sale only the base edition of Kingdom Battle, instead of the gold edition that includes all DLC's. Weird.

Regarding the personal pick, I'd recommend Kingdom Battle over Sparks of Hope. In my opinion the first Mario + Rabbids game is better than its sequel.

They missed their chance to equip Link with Lara Croft's dual guns or the Doom Slayer's shotgun.
This is what happens when the devs use too much AI and ask it the wrong questions...

Performance is secondary considering how bland is the game anyway.

@OmnitronVariant The issue with many people is that they do not respect others or their opinions. They want you to think exactly like them and not to support what they don't like. For instance these 20 bucks are wasted because they say so, it doesn't matter how you feel about the game, even if it's your all time favorite. They would like to decide for you that you should rather pirate it or play it on the original hardware with the original cartridge, even if it means spending much more... I never played a Pokémon game so this release is not even for me, but if I was a fan I'd be excited to have the chance to play this game on modern hardware after so many years. The price tag should be lower but it's not crazy if you love the game and will get many hours of enjoyment out of it.

@RoboCube And on Switch it is tied to a subscription and you cannot buy it separately. I'd rather have the option to buy it.

I think 20 bucks is not much if these games mean something to you. I'd take the same deal if they released Super Mario Land 2 or the old Fire Emblem games for instance.

My favorite and most played GameBoy title. That space world theme slaps.

I have Brigandine Legend of Runersia both on Steam and Switch, it's a mix of resource management and tactical combat. Curious about this new entry in the series, the tactical combat requires some improvements, it was a bit one note in Runersia.

Just another game released with a lot of bugs.

PES 2021 is still the best football game. Unfortunately eFootball is as crap as a FIFA game (now EA FC).

@swoose Engage was a mix of great gameplay and cringe cutscenes. Overall I liked 3 Houses better even if the tactical gameplay was not as great.

@JohnnyMind It's because of Japan, the Japanese version of Cyberpunk is censored too. But in that case the publishers were smart enough to have an uncensored version of the game for the rest of the World. In case of Dispatch the publishers were too cheap to do the same and too sneaky to be transparent about it. If I had pre-ordered this version of the game I would be really pissed.

@cylemmulo Yes, that makes it even worse. But any censorship is annoying. Just rate it for adults, I guess no grown man is getting PTSD after seeing a nipple in a video game cutscene...

It's probably the publisher's fault, they didn't want to have a separate censored version for Japan. It's cheaper to maintain only one global version of the game but then they had to adhere to stricter rules to release it in Japan.
I'll get it on Steam, not buying the child version for Switch.

FFT Ivalice Chronicles is my GOTY for 2025, and one of my favorite games ever.
Age of Imprisonment is on my wishlist, will get it once I upgrade to Switch 2.

I played it on Steam, it's great. Waiting for a good sale to get it on Switch too.

@JohnnyMind You are saying the Switch 2 couldn't handle 60 FPS on a 2011 game? Hardware in such case is a poor excuse for bad optimization.

To be honest it wasn't a good upgrade on Switch either, basic Skyrim without Anniversary Upgrade is way better.

Great game, but one of those I'd rather play on Steam.

It's 2025, instead of moaning about the lack of localization just use it as an excuse to learn English.
The game is a masterpiece by the way, just finished it today but starting a new playthrough soon.
