@OmnitronVariant The issue with many people is that they do not respect others or their opinions. They want you to think exactly like them and not to support what they don't like. For instance these 20 bucks are wasted because they say so, it doesn't matter how you feel about the game, even if it's your all time favorite. They would like to decide for you that you should rather pirate it or play it on the original hardware with the original cartridge, even if it means spending much more... I never played a Pokémon game so this release is not even for me, but if I was a fan I'd be excited to have the chance to play this game on modern hardware after so many years. The price tag should be lower but it's not crazy if you love the game and will get many hours of enjoyment out of it.

@RoboCube And on Switch it is tied to a subscription and you cannot buy it separately. I'd rather have the option to buy it.

I think 20 bucks is not much if these games mean something to you. I'd take the same deal if they released Super Mario Land 2 or the old Fire Emblem games for instance.

My favorite and most played GameBoy title. That space world theme slaps.

There are too many better ways to burn money.

I have Brigandine Legend of Runersia both on Steam and Switch, it's a mix of resource management and tactical combat. Curious about this new entry in the series, the tactical combat requires some improvements, it was a bit one note in Runersia.

Just another game released with a lot of bugs.

PES 2021 is still the best football game. Unfortunately eFootball is as crap as a FIFA game (now EA FC).

@swoose Engage was a mix of great gameplay and cringe cutscenes. Overall I liked 3 Houses better even if the tactical gameplay was not as great.

@Pillowpants The new Fire Emblem is the game that will make me upgrade to Switch 2.

@JohnnyMind It's because of Japan, the Japanese version of Cyberpunk is censored too. But in that case the publishers were smart enough to have an uncensored version of the game for the rest of the World. In case of Dispatch the publishers were too cheap to do the same and too sneaky to be transparent about it. If I had pre-ordered this version of the game I would be really pissed.

@cylemmulo Yes, that makes it even worse. But any censorship is annoying. Just rate it for adults, I guess no grown man is getting PTSD after seeing a nipple in a video game cutscene...

It's probably the publisher's fault, they didn't want to have a separate censored version for Japan. It's cheaper to maintain only one global version of the game but then they had to adhere to stricter rules to release it in Japan.
I'll get it on Steam, not buying the child version for Switch.

FFT Ivalice Chronicles is my GOTY for 2025, and one of my favorite games ever.
Age of Imprisonment is on my wishlist, will get it once I upgrade to Switch 2.

I played it on Steam, it's great. Waiting for a good sale to get it on Switch too.

@JohnnyMind You are saying the Switch 2 couldn't handle 60 FPS on a 2011 game? Hardware in such case is a poor excuse for bad optimization.

To be honest it wasn't a good upgrade on Switch either, basic Skyrim without Anniversary Upgrade is way better.

Great game, but one of those I'd rather play on Steam.

It's 2025, instead of moaning about the lack of localization just use it as an excuse to learn English.
The game is a masterpiece by the way, just finished it today but starting a new playthrough soon.

Thanks for the review. I'm curious about this game but it looks more like a puzzle game than a tactical one. Guess I'll get it on Steam first to check it out.

@LEGEND_MARIOID It's still a downgrade compared to a good PC. Of course it's subjective, but I prefer to play this kind of games on Steam. Open world photorealistic games always require compromises to run well on handheld devices.

How is not being greedy and choose a low price point a bad thing? It shows confidence in your game as well.
The other devs can always use the price as an excuse if their games don't sell. I guess it's easier than admitting your game wasn't good enough.

This is not the type of game I would play on a Switch anyway. Waiting for a deep sale on Steam.

I still might get Dark Deity 2, played it on Steam and it's very good.
