@Hikingguy And the notion that Piracy is the issue is absurd. We all know their entire classic catalog is available in 100 different ways online already. Doing stuff like this actually make piracy thrive in my opinion.

@sillygostly Agreed, the matching strap should come with the Joy-Con. Side note, I bought the matching straps for the blue and red Joy-Cons and guess what!? The colors are not an exact match! Lame!

For once I don't think this is just flowery marketing speak. My Apple TV will always be my media player of choice in the living room and on the go I honestly don't even use my iPhone 7plus to watch media unless it's part of an article I'm reading. I'm glad they put everything into getting the Switch ready to be a great gaming device straight out of the box. New features always come in time.

I have to admit that I ordered one because I'm a sucker for exchanging money for perceived convenience. That being said I'd have to assume 3rd parties are going to make a cheaper and possibly more functional Switch Dock.

I'm ok to wait. What I'm not ok with is a lack of information about what we should expect. There is no reason they can't give us details about what the Virtual console will be.

I can't belive how little we know about the Switch with launch right around the corner. I'm still very excited to get mine, but I'm worried they made a descion about an important feature they know we'll be unhappy with.

@Anti-Matter They are maybe 20 - 30% smaller. I actually got a chance to see a Switch last night (behind closed doors) and we popped out the 1 2 switch cart and it was shockingly small.

Oh man... I bought Panzer Dragoon Saga back in 2008 for about $300 and it has since doubled in value according to ebay. I'm not a huge collector, but that is the best item in my collection and it would be terrible to see it expire.

@Einherjar Agreed, in fact when I take a minute to think about it logically it was free stuff that "added" to the game. That being said, no matter what it does come with that lingering fear of, "What else will they sell out to?"

@NickOfTime90 That's fair, it was free. I think myself and others don't like it because not downloading it technically means you do not have all the content available for what is a historic and important franchise. Also, it's a slippery slope towards in game advertising that for now is opt in, but that could change one day. In other words it's just weird to see real world brands in iconic franchises.

This is almost as disgusting as seeing Mercedes-Benz in Mario kart 8. (Day one purchase for me ☹️)

I just missed club Nintendo so much. Managing my Nintendo feels like a job not a benefit.

@WebHead I don't even think it was released before it was ready, I think it's much worse. I think the entire concept is doesn't really provide any true value.

@DBPirate I agree with you. I would argue that off-screen play is one of the only real new feature to come in this console generation. Everything else is just "better" but not new or innovative. (not counting PS VR or Hololense)

@abe_hikura Oh cool! That is very interesting, perhaps Nintendo remote play will be the gold standard in streaming games, though PlayStation Now works pretty well, but the price point is a joke.

The only way this will not suck is if purchasing a game means you can play it directly from servers rather than having to remote access your console at home. I use remote play a lot with my PS4 and having a playable experience outside of the house is really rare.

That being said I just don't see Nintendo having the infrastructure to serve games directly from the Internet.

Nintendo's lack of transparency has always been troubling. I wonder if it will ever change.

I feel like this is a little too late, especially for a studio that toyed with the idea of having meat boy as a playable character in smash. After all, this game is playable on the Vita and PS TV of all places before even coming to any Nintendo system. Better late than never?

I think Star Fox will please us, but it won't break any molds. It will just be a "solid entry" in the series. Oh well still going to be fun.
