Microsoft should buy them and make Sonic their official mascot. They should then Launch a “PS5-Don’t” marketing campaign and announce backwards compatibility with Dreamcast including physical media.

Kind of surprised by this actually I play mostly docked and from the comments section it felt like I was the minority.

I’ve been planning to, but now that the day is here I’m gonna pass because I know I won’t have any time to really play it.

I was planning to purchase this day one, but after reflecting on it a bit I think my kids are still too young to enjoy it which means it would only get played with once or twice and then put in the closet until they’ve grown a bit. Wish I had the time to play as well.

@AJDarkstar The media business is incredibly hard. I guess they could just plaster the site more adds and remove the affiliate links, but that would suck.

And for the love of god stop rebooting the approach to online every generation. Just keep improving it.

This is a hard pass for me. This was one of few Wii U games that really benefited from the gamepad. Would much rather play it again on there.

This is like a new Nintendo. When have they sourced fan feedback so quickly and implemented it? I can’t think of any other time. Granted they’re probably all hands on deck for what is becoming just an absolutely massive success for them.

Nintendo should release an archives app for Nintendo online subscribers. Clearly they’re not gonna include things like source code but it would be so cool to have high resolution artwork and uncompressed audio clips like we’re seeing from this leak.

I’m sure this isn’t including stock options and what not. Either way I’m not surprised to see fiscal prudence at Nintendo. They’ve been here for hundreds of years and will be here for hundreds more. No one else in the industry can say that.

@JDavies My kids are loving Endless Ocean (can't go to Aquariums right now) and Wii Sports Resort (they call it frisbee dog). I hope you can find a cheap one for your kiddos.

The Wii is a huge hit in my house right now. I just set up my Wii (U) so my kids could play the simple motion games and they are loving it.

The Wii U is really a great console, two full machines in one with so many options for games and ways to play.

@Ambassador_Kong Yes, we do agree, I was being a bit hyperbolic admittedly. I would pay a large sum of money for an official Sega Saturn mini with a big chunk of the catalog.

@Ambassador_Kong I’m confused I’m not sure if you were agreeing with me or disagreeing. Anyway, all I’m saying is I like Sega, but it’s frustrating how so much of their catalog is just sitting in the archives. As a company that’s not probably ever going to release another consul why not get everything out there? Heck I would probably pay for a subscription service if it included all of their consoles.

Just hooked up my Wii U again after being put aside for the Switch. It's simply an amazing console, my kids love it. Sales numbers aside it was/is an incredible console. Don't forget it is a Wii as well, two great console in one.

I'm not a fan of home brew, or hacking, but this is why I don't have a problem with people that are.

That’s actually not a bad deal. It’s basically a months severance and the possibility of a job waiting for you. If it were me I would definitely start looking for a job during that month because it’s unlikely they will be open at the end of the month. These are tough times indeed.

@JayJ I have fully. The Wii U in my opinion is the best console to have on hand because it's also a Wii and both have great Virtual Console options.

Confirmed. We're never getting an N64 virtual console replacement.

For a mini I thought it was great. The Switch has more games than any human could consider playing in a generation. It's truly the best Console released to date. I'm really excited to see what they do to extend the longevity of the platform. Switch Pro with 4k dock (or 1080p 60FPS locked) would be amazing in another year or two.

Prediction: They ask for bail out money and then immediately close and never re-open.

I am stunned. I’ve been saying for a long time that the point and click adventure games would do well on tablets and now of course Switch. This game specifically is one I’ve been waiting to play again. I waited so long I actually watched a play through videos that was four hours long, it wasn’t enough.

@TDRsuperstar2 Great point... Who cares if someone cheats at Animal crossing, that's their own business. It's not like it will taint Animal Crossings chances at being the next big esport...

@OorWullie Not just content, but layout... No offense to the designer who did it as I'm sure they were given specific instructions from their higher-ups, but an intern could have put this together. It's just so amateur, right down to the compression artifacts.
