This on PS4/XB1 suffered poor emulation. Nothing to believe this port will be any different. Granted, the more 'casual' which clearly this is aimed at will unlikely notice any irregularities, I however will stick with M2 for any Sega ports.

These are lovely games. Charming, polished and fun. Even the spin-off games are highly recommended.

@BladedKnight it's strange, but I find it quite the opposite. Where as ABOTW is sandbox as originally envisioned, RDR2 plays like Rockstar is stuck in the past, unable to evolve - albeit with MASSIVE production values which blindside many.

@retro_player_22 I totally missed it's arriving on WiiU. Surprising but delightful.

@Anti-Matter really? It's no surprise as seeing it's a cultural phenomenon.

Who is it picking scanlines playing these games? Scanlines were never the preferred visual and even in those cases artificial scanlines never look quite right. Razor sharp pixels are maybe not what many of us got using consumer CRT's but they're best.

It's a lovely looking game just sadly the gameplay feels very like treading water.

The difficulty! It's running the earliest SF revision ROMs which frustrated and annoyed on initial release, hence the numerous revisions.

A better screen, bigger battery and so on is all well and good, but, what GAMES is available on said device? Some good ones no doubt. I'm happier with the Switch which I can play Zelda, Mario, DK, Pokémon, Smash and the like.

$180 buys a hell of a lot of great games.

I second a little piano accessory could have really elevated this game. Still, Drum Master.

Sounds pedantic perhaps, but while I was really looking forward to this game having passed me by somehow previously, the mentions of performance issues is enough to stop me in my tracks. Particularly when many, many more hearalded games await.

We've the topic of plastic waste polluting seas and shorelines, yet people still clamber for 'physical' on a game with a TINY file size. I understand games of larger file sizes for reasons of internet and storage, but this is NOT one of those cases.

@SBandy I had exactly same via Amazon. Canceled that order and went with 3rd part seller, still via Amazon. Had my order arrive Saturday. While I'm happy to have received it, man the dpad is an unnatural position.

Really? From gameplay I've seen looks very un-Starfox if you ask me. Akin to saying Hyrule Warriors feels a Zelda game.

Ok. The library of recommended and essential games on Switch is now boadering on the insane. Seems every week one or two genuinely 85%+ games are dropping. My backlog!

This is a generation of expectant and entitled brats. It's horrible watching this whole thing unfold. Like with news of Nintendo patenting it's N64 trademark. Suddenly it was 'i want before Xmas, I want this many games, I want these games in particular'! Nintendo doesn't owe us anything.

Also, if people really wanted GBA, N64 and Wii games (for example) so much you can find many, many ways of emulating each, and if that isn't enough, hardware is pretty cheap of each. All the classics can be found relatively easy and cheap if you so desire. I suppose however it's people want it spoon fed.

I'd wait for the newest 8bitdo controllers before I invested in one of these. Choice is usually better than not, but I'm betting these don't stand up to comparisons with Nintendo's or 8bitdo's own range.

I preferred prior in which playing games online was 'free' as opposed to now where (yes, it's a small fee) you are required to pay for the service.

I'd argue the inclusion of a 'share/screenshot' button is more influenced by social media and an eventual step anyhow.

@Solomon_Rambling "controls feel looser" is an understatement imo. Yes, always happy with any post-release support, but gameplay as you rightly highlight remains underwhelming and lite.

The more the merrier, generally, but anybody having watched the included trailer will see this is NOT Pilotwings or anything like it, least not in any important ways such as physics and challenge.

RPG-lite it may be...who cares? What it undoubtedly is however cannot be disputed. An essential title and one of the all time Indie greats.

What with this and the recent SF Collection, what I really, really want is a Darkstalkers Collection, please.
