I'm disappointed if this blocks homebrew and the like, which I imagine is the goal here, but Nintendo is well within its rights and naturally wants to stop those exploiting it's ips. Brats in the comments here whining entitlement.
@Moroboshi876 circling like a Vulture. Besides, retail/physical these days is the emperor's new clothes, what with many games getting numerous patches over time.
@Moroboshi876 you know the reason many Indie/3rd party games have been acquiring physical releases on Switch don't you? It's because people like myself buy digitally. I don't give a damn on physical barring games large in file size, just so my SD card doesn't need to take the burden. People like yourself however do your cause no good.
@darthstuey yes, and? My first was a ZX Spectrum. That somebody has been playing videogames for a long or short time doesn't exclude them from talking nonsense.
@Cobalt oh it is, is it? Sorry, here's me taking my own experience of it, not to mention numerous well respected journalists into account where as you can see through all that.
Both Giana Sisters DS and Twisted Sisters are both brilliant platforms much overlooked and underappreciated. If this helps highlight both again that's only a good thing. Just don't mention Dream Runners...
As much as I liked the original, im struggling to find a reason for this sequel to exist except as a cash-grab. Should it have a genuinely good single player mode, yes, I'd accept that, but simply more of the same only more of it for me constitutes DLC as opposed to a new game. I'd be extremely happy to be proven wrong.
I don't know about this comparison. Looks like it's showing the Wii over composite. I have my Wii running component and it looks vastly sharper with that showing here.
It's funny. I liked Sonic 1 & 2 (for example) but not massively. Never played many of the Sonics after that until purchasing and playing Sonic Mania on the Switch only this year. Ive played and completed it but still can't say I totally enjoyed it. All down to personal taste. I'll tell you however, I respect the hell out of the devs who created it. It's a beautiful game which runs and sounds incredible. I recently purchased the Plus DLC in support of this.
I'm happy these games are finding new platforms, audiences, but I have the majority of games Sega released for the New/3DS. I'll hold out until this Ages line of games for Switch offers something new and/or different...Pulseman or the like.
@MedusaMadman77 I'm only purchasing games physically which are large in file size. Saving room on my SD Card as much as possible. Wild Guns comes in at under 1gb so that falls under digital for me.
@JaxonH this is me exactly. I have been 80% digital on the Switch, everything barring games bigger than (roughly) 3gb in total. The only thing stopping me investing in Banner Saga thus far has been the hearty file sizes. Well no longer.
@Sinton I wish! No, this is based on the mobile variant. Sadly not a patch on the game currently on PS4 otherwise I would definitely have 'upgraded' to have it on Switch.

Did we ever? Short answer is no.
Re: Video: Super Rare Games' Physical Switch Releases Are A Joy
"Twice as much plastic". Twice as bad for the environment. Brilliant.
Re: Video: Super Rare Games' Physical Switch Releases Are A Joy
A joy is right, but only is you're a scslper or Gollum.

Re: Shovel Knight's Next DLC Pack Is A Super Smash Bros. Style Multiplayer Brawler
Looks unbalanced as hell, but, do I care? Holy!
Re: Marble It Up Wants To Be The "Roll-Playing Game" Of The Year On Switch
Wait. This uses 'traditional' controls? I'll stick with Kororinpa, thanks.
Re: Review: Blade Strangers (Switch)
@Moroboshi876 you may feel like that, but, in reality you own little more than a games blueprint. Still, whatever makes somebody happy.
Re: Capcom Has Announced An Onimusha: Warlords Remaster For Nintendo Switch
I own it on PS2. Having said that...hell yes. I'm in.

Re: Slime-San Is Getting A Level Editor That Is "Most Likely" Coming To Switch
Just when you think this game has given enough. Now we get the kitchen sink. Awards to the developers for supporting their work long after release.

Re: Miyamoto Calls On His Industry Peers To Deliver Games At Fixed Prices
Agree or disagree, when Miyamoto speaks the industry listen.
Re: Miyamoto Doesn't Want To Make An MMORPG Because It Would Be Boring
I just dropped into the comments seeing if anybody has balls big enough to disagree with Miyamoto...
Re: Video: Check Out Dark Souls: Remastered Running In Handheld Mode On Switch
@Cobalt how do I know I don't like them if I don't buy them first? Besides, you've got history with this type of bs.
Re: Video: Check Out Dark Souls: Remastered Running In Handheld Mode On Switch
@Cobalt surprise, surprise. Still, Switch sales don't seem to be suffering too badly without you.

Re: HD Remaster Of Grandia And Dreamcast Sequel Revealed For Nintendo Switch
If I hear another 'physical release' comment...God help me. Our future should be one of reducing unnecessary plastic packaging, not promoting it.
Re: Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Won't Be Coming Out This Year After All
Well colour me unsurprised.
Re: Rumour: New Nintendo Direct Airing Later Today
@Cobalt I don't know what makes an Indie focused Direct less "real" than any other.
Re: Rumour: New Nintendo Direct Airing Later Today
Gimme that Undertale release date, please.

@Cobalt yes, "Odyssey is an average game" but it's me who needs to keep taking the meds, right? Keep digging. Keep digging.
Re: Diablo III Will Run At 60fps In Docked And Portable Mode On Nintendo Switch
@Cobalt your the type who buys Nintendo and argues Mario, Zelda and Metroid hold no interest for you.
Re: Diablo III Will Run At 60fps In Docked And Portable Mode On Nintendo Switch
@Nincompoop yes, because most PS3 and for that matter ran at 60fps, right...right?

Re: The Bug Butcher Brings Action-Packed 2D Side-Scrolling To Switch This Summer
What I wouldn't give for an entirely new game in the Pang series. No, not Pang Adventures which felt more a flash game. Not good.
Re: Freedom Planet Speeds Onto Switch eShop August 30th
I'll be buying it again. I don't understand this pre-purchase thing however. Why this as opposed to simply buying it at a later date?
Re: Scribblenauts Mega Pack Arrives On Switch This September
@BladedKnight I think I've seen a few copies on eBay priced reasonably should you still be interested, if you're a collector.
Re: Scribblenauts Mega Pack Arrives On Switch This September
@BladedKnight yes. But it was released in Australia, another pal region, so playing it was made fairly art straightforward.

@thesilverbrick you should see the size of some PS4 games.

Re: Japanese Players Vote Hollow Knight As The Most Recommended Digital Switch Game This Month
@Switch_will_fail the dude abides.
Re: Japanese Players Vote Hollow Knight As The Most Recommended Digital Switch Game This Month
@Switch_will_fail or - another way to look at it - criminally overrated. It's not, obviously, but it's not anything other than a 6 out of 10 game.
Re: Japanese Players Vote Hollow Knight As The Most Recommended Digital Switch Game This Month
Yooka-Laylee!?
Re: Review: Samurai Shodown V (Switch eShop)
If you only buy one Samurai Showdown game - and you should - make it SSII.

Re: Nintendo Download: 12th July (Europe)
Another staggeringly bad eShop sale. Barring Slime-San. But I already own it.
