Great news, for once EU won't be late to the party. Perhaps the game sold better here than in the US and it's expected to do decently during the holiday season.

@BladedKnight it's actually become very popular in the West. The anime has done well, entering it's 3rd season on Disney XD. They have several toy lines here like the medals and watch's, plushies, etc. And with the release of this America is finally caught up with Japan in the mainline yokai watch releases. So popularity isn't an issue. Chances are they just thought 2 versions being "Tempura" and "Sushi" wouldn't work so well in the West. After all, it's all cheeseburgers and douhnuts with us.

I cannot imagine the First mini game from Yokai Watch 3 = Eating Cheese burgers / Doughnuts as many as you can.
That will make your stomach full quickly.

And one more thing.
What will happen to Nate's Dad after being possessed by a Lion Yokai that can make speak foreign languages fluently ?
Will he speak Spanish or speak Japanese or Babling like Baby ?

These are lovely games. Charming, polished and fun. Even the spin-off games are highly recommended.

Really weird getting this before the US. We had to wait for almost a year longer than the US for the first game.
Not that I'm complaining! Just finished Blasters and I'm so ready for more Yo-kai Watch! <3

@Anti-Matter I think it will be the 3rd version from Japan. Equivalent of Psychic Specters version of 2.

On one hand, it's odd that Europe gets this first.
On the other hand, it's the same day as Smash Ultimate so it's not like I would prioritize it.

Glad it's all one version though. Having content locked behind an extra $80 paywall in YW2 was just silly.

Isn't Yo-Kai Watch more popular in Europe? I remember going to my local dollar store and finding all the merchandise for 4 bucks or less. I find it hilarious that people thought it was ever going to be a Pokémon killer, even if I do love the series.

I was a little late to the party, playing 2 now. And it's so much fun, glad I get to play another one after this is finished!
(And America through Japanese eyes, always a yes!)

@AxeltheBuizel I don't think everyone thought it was going to be a Pokemon killer. The only people I've hear make that assumption was the Yokai Watch director who hoped it would become as big as Pokemon here in the West.

Actually the EU release date was first revealed when the Ocotber 2018 release schedule was shared online. Not everyone cuaght it right away though.

So after this it's just Blasters 2 we're missing and then we've caught up with Japan, 4 looks amazing but i'm glad 3 is coming here too, i really like the Yokai Watch games and still love my 3DS so i'm glad we're still getting things released for it.

Can’t wait for this. Probably one of the last 3DS games I’ll buy but so worth it 😄

So thrilled with the trailer. So much excitement and new places to explore! Definitely can't wait to create my own cat nyan.
Also the one version thing is like the icing on the cake. Absolutely loving it!
Still some uncertain questions. Are all the sushi and tempura yokai available to befriend? Will we get dream medal yokai and all the different lord enma?

In the end, I'll have a L-5 game less to import (leaving only IEgo3, Danball2&3 more importantly The Snack World).

So, is this a combined release of the two initial versions of the third game (where you might choose in the beginning wich "route" you play) or simply the third version? I hope it's the third one.
