I have a soft spot for OMG Zombies! It's a game about trying to kill of an entire screen of zombies with limited ammo in your rifle. Each zombie has the potential to set off a chain reaction, taking down more zombies. Been playing it since PS3 and keep coming back to it if I just want to kill some time.
@WreckitRyan We use that app and it has worked wonders for motivating my kid to brush her teeth. Before, it was a real struggle, now it's the easiest thing in the world. Seeing as she doesn't use iPads or watches a lot of TV, I have no problem using it with her. She gets all excited and shows of her earned pictures. It's great.
As a parent who uses Oral Bs Disney app I'm all for this. These apps are genius. My kid loved brushing her teeth now because she earns pictures of Elsa and Olaf while doing it.
Wasn't interested in this initially (because Battle Royale) but having learned that you have to play as a team and that there is a respawn mechanic, I'm intrigued.
Titanfall 2 is the best shooter this generation so I know that it's going to feel good to play. It seems like they have done enough to differentiate it to PUBG and Fortnite for me to actually wanting to play it now. Getting it on the Switch would of course be nice!
@IHateTombs I read NL reviews like this: 10 - Good game, might be great. 9 - Good game probably worth checking out. 8 - Decent. You might like it, you might not. 7 - Probably below average. 6 - Terrible. Anything below - KILL IT WITH FIRE!
I see them as controllers, and not Joy-Cons. So basically you're getting two controllers for 49.99. For games like Mario Party and other multiplayer games I actually see value in these. Then again, you can get third-party Pro Controllers for 20-25 dollars but they can't be used in every game.
Can't say I'm excited for this but hey. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for SNES games. Those hoping for N64 or Gamecube games might as well give up now.
Still, I need to remind myself that this costs 20 euros a year and that they've laid the groundwork for a nice platform to enjoy retro games on. I'll wait a year to pass full judgement but I can't say the start has been anything more than ok.
I'm definitely guilty of going to the eshop/steam/gog/ps store and picking up some of the cheapest games. Some of them are fun, some are forgotten again after a few minutes. For me its a combination of wanting to get a good deal and just increasing my collection with dirt cheap titles (why else would I buy both Frederic games?).
I also find that I have some games that I'll always come back to no matter how long it's been since I played them. Hearthstone, Rock Band 3, Civilization IV/V and Bad Company 2 to name some of them.
It was great to come across a game like Hollow Knight this summer. Played that up until now, beat it, but still have some insane bosses (and white palace) left. I much prefer having only one game to concentrate on. It's more fun to actually fully complete a game instead of just jumping from title to title. I assume the next one is going to be Red Dead Redemption 2 or Fallout 76. Depends what I get for my birthday
Btw; I still have Max Payne 3 and Skyward Sword in their shrinkwrap.
I have the first one and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Judging from the screenshots and rest of the review it looks like they just expanded on the whole thing and addressed the repetitiveness of the previous one. I thought this might just be the same thing all over again but it actually looks like it has enough new features to warrant a purchase.
Even Hollow Knight has framerate issues in certain parts of the game (very few). It's still GOTY. I plan on getting Dead Cells soon and these minor issues are not going to keep me from it.
My dream is that they drop 1 NES, 1 SNES, 1 N64 and 1 GC game every month. This is a nice way to start the service, will be exciting to see where it is in a year.
I don't know many people with a Switch that would use this so I'll have to make do with my wife I'll probably get it just because it's the price of a couple of beers for a whole year.

@Magician I've been looking at that for a while but never pulled the trigger.
Re: Pokémon Smile Is A New Free App Designed To Provide A "Fun Toothbrushing Experience"
@Samuel-Flutter Try Oral B's app collaboration with Disney. Your kid gets stars and medals for brushing and earns pictures he can look at afterwards.
