Re: Community: Found A Real Gem On Switch eShop? We Want To Hear From You

I have a soft spot for OMG Zombies! It's a game about trying to kill of an entire screen of zombies with limited ammo in your rifle. Each zombie has the potential to set off a chain reaction, taking down more zombies. Been playing it since PS3 and keep coming back to it if I just want to kill some time.

Wasn't interested in this initially (because Battle Royale) but having learned that you have to play as a team and that there is a respawn mechanic, I'm intrigued.

Titanfall 2 is the best shooter this generation so I know that it's going to feel good to play. It seems like they have done enough to differentiate it to PUBG and Fortnite for me to actually wanting to play it now. Getting it on the Switch would of course be nice!

Re: Nintendo Adding Three More Games To Switch Online NES Library Next Week

Can't say I'm excited for this but hey. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for SNES games.
Those hoping for N64 or Gamecube games might as well give up now.

Still, I need to remind myself that this costs 20 euros a year and that they've laid the groundwork for a nice platform to enjoy retro games on. I'll wait a year to pass full judgement but I can't say the start has been anything more than ok.

Re: Soapbox: Why Do We Want More Games When We've Already Got Too Many?

I'm definitely guilty of going to the eshop/steam/gog/ps store and picking up some of the cheapest games. Some of them are fun, some are forgotten again after a few minutes.
For me its a combination of wanting to get a good deal and just increasing my collection with dirt cheap titles (why else would I buy both Frederic games?).

I also find that I have some games that I'll always come back to no matter how long it's been since I played them. Hearthstone, Rock Band 3, Civilization IV/V and Bad Company 2 to name some of them.

It was great to come across a game like Hollow Knight this summer. Played that up until now, beat it, but still have some insane bosses (and white palace) left. I much prefer having only one game to concentrate on. It's more fun to actually fully complete a game instead of just jumping from title to title. I assume the next one is going to be Red Dead Redemption 2 or Fallout 76. Depends what I get for my birthday

Btw; I still have Max Payne 3 and Skyward Sword in their shrinkwrap.
