How is this a bad thing? Much better than I expected. I thought the NES games would work like Netflix, meaning you always had to be online. The fact that you can be offline for 7 days is a big plus in my opinion.
I'm currently sitting at 40 hours played and I still have a long way to go. I'm somewhat of a hoarder so this game is very satisfying to play. Many things to discover and such amazing characters.
Sweet! Will definitely get this. Anyone remember Onimusha Tactics on the GBA? Loved that game too. Should do a remaster of it and get it on the Switch!
I actually like Shelter for what it is. It might take a couple of tries before you find out how to build an effective shelter but then it's pretty rewarding. I play on the PC though.
@JJtheTexan Well, the Pikachu pro controller is actualy really good! Almost exactly the same as a Gamecube controller. Technically third party but published by Nintendo so I guess that would make it a semi-first party controller?
The sad thing is that they will probably leave the Gamepad behind now. I would love to have off-tv play on the next console as well. It really is the best feature on the Wii U. Also, people I talk to still don't know what a Wii U is. Nintendo made a horrible job naming it and promoting it.
When something is called "Project ..." don't expect to see it for at least 2 years. Nintendo is clearly refocusing their efforts on the NX and winding down Wii U support. It's such a shame. I'm just grateful that us in Europe will be getting Yoshis Wolly World this june. Guess I'll have to buy a PS4 this fall. Rock Band and Fallout will be my holiday games.
As much as I love Mario Kard DS, I won't buy it without some sort of multiplayer option. I played that thing for hours online. Guess I'll only be buying Mario 64 and maybe Donkey Kong.
@Jazzer94 That means it'll be 11 pm for me in Norway. I'm very curious to see what they bring. Anything new will be welcomed with open arms and I'm guessing that they'll have a game or two ready for the Virtual Console straight after the Direct. Long shot but I'm hoping for more compatibility for the GC adapter on games.
The thought of Metroid Prime with Gamepad and Pro Controller support though... That would have been so good. I would love for Nintendo to include Pro controller support in these Wii games. There's no reason why a game like Donkey Kong shouldn't be controllable with a Pro Controller or the Gamepad.
I own all three Metroid Primes on disc but I'm definitely getting this so I can play them directly from my Wii U. My favourite games of all time. Weird question: Was the first two MPs on the trilogy disc playable with Gamecube controllers as well? Would they work with the Gamecube adapter?

Re: NES Games On Switch Playable For Up To Seven Days Without Internet Connection
And really, just create a hot spot from your cellphone if you cant access the games. Problem solved.

Re: Turn-Based Strategy Game Civilization VI Is Headed To Switch This November
Holy crap! I've spent so many hours on Civ that I should probably be ashamed of myself. Not gotten to Civ 6 yet so yes, I will buy!
Re: Kairosoft Is Bringing Two Popular Simulation Games To The Switch eShop
Played Game Dev and Racing Story and they were fun for a while but once you start to get good the whole thing gets repetitive pretty fast.

@justin233 I would actually love a remake of the original. Still think it's the best Burnout to date. Fantastic racer.
Re: Gear.Club Unlimited 2 Revealed Exclusively For Nintendo Switch
As long as it feels like a proper racing game and not a mobile port then I'm very interested. Lacking real racing games on the Switch.
Re: Diablo III Eternal Collection Officially Announced For Nintendo Switch
Strange how we don't have Hearthstone yet. They even teased it a while back.

@Audiobrainiac Rocket League on PS4 has cross play with PC. Same with Portal 2. I think it's the other consoles they have an issue with.
Re: Guide: How To Play Fortnite On Switch If You've Played Before On PS4
Thank God I never downloaded it on PS4. Downloaded and deleted it on PC but I at least have the option to use it both places should I want to.

@Sgt-Hassan93 PUBG is pretty much a given now that they have released the mobile version on PC. Basically means it can run on anything.
