Not bad. Mostly uninteresting games but there's good to be found there.

For anyone interested in shovelware, this is an amazing sale !

Nothing too interesting, but I guess I'll finally pick up the Capcom Beat 'em Up Bundle and the Fairune Collection.

If anyone hasn't tried it - that's a pretty good price on Implosion too.

And I guess I might pick up Armikrog on the Wii U too - I've been wanting it for a while now and will give me a reason to boot up that system again as well. It's been a while...

Get Necrodancer if you don't have it already. So worth it, especially for that price.

Necrodancer for me. Other than that nothing that really sticks out.

I was hoping Shantae: Risky's Revenge would finally be on sale after one year since last time. It isn't.

Nothing on Hamster's side either.

I'd love to pick up Monster Hunter at that price, but I don't have the spare 1,000 hours to get into it properly. Might jump on the first Mega Man X collection, though - but everybody knows that Capcom games go on sale every few months, so there's no hurry.

The WayForward games are also likely to come round again, as is Blossom Tales - all interesting, but not ones I feel I have to jump on. Kinda interested in Bomb Chicken, but not ahead of other games.

Fair play to Celeste for sticking to its price all year - not many indies have the strength of their convictions like that.

That's bad even for Nintendo.

I was expecting the discounts seen on US eShop for Game Awards...

@Reverandjames They've been discounting several entries (well, actually Pirate's Curse and Half-Genie Hero), but they keep skipping the first one on GBC (which I recommend) and the second, on Wii U.

But in general these aren't really great offers.

Still waiting for Okami and anything related to Starlink.

@elhozzo Aah, okay. That makes sense. ...but what doesn't make sense is that the more expensive one now seems to be cheaper for some reason unless the prices are listed wrong.

I have never seen a game like hollow with such crazy discounts all the time. It has constantly been on sales since its release.

People say Marble it Up is great but not that great of a sale.

What annoys me is that all the VC games on Wii U never seem to go on sale. I wanna get loads of GBA and TG16 games.

@Moroboshi876 They never discount the original on 3DS VC but they did do it through My Nintendo Rewards once. Did Risky’s Revenge ever get a Switch release?

As above, Necrodancer is the only irresistible Switch offer (but I guess there's a few others listed I've got in previous sales - e.g. Next Penelope).

Hopefully be some more eye-catchers in the next few weeks.

FWIW, 25% off won't cut it for me, Devs. 50% minimum just to get me to the table.

@FX102A I know, that's when I bought it. I don't like to buy emulated games if I have an affordable alternative, but GBC's Shantae is probably the most expensive game on Game Boy Color's catalog.

Risky's Revenge isn't on Switch, otherwise I would have picked it up already in South Africa. Now I have to pay full price, 9,99, if I want it, because Wii U doesn't let you switch eShops.

I may get one or two of those but I am quite busy with the mega drive collection so...

The Capcom Beat Em Up Bundle is enticing as I’m currently enjoying Streets Of Rage and Golden Axe on the Mega Drive (/Genesis) Collection.

20% off is a bit meagre though.

Getting Membrane and Lost in Harmony. The first one, while ugly, got good reviews and looks fun gameplaywise. I know next to nothing about Lost in Harmony but I watched the trailer back when it was first announced and it didn't look bad. It didn't get the best reviews but I'm sure it's worth 1€. I'm always up for rhythm games.'

Also, anyone who hasn't bought Crypt of the Necrodancer yet, now is the time!

I am interested in Mega Man 11, so I am happy, still need to hear back from a friend if I can acquire a game card (not sold in my region) from a friend, which would be preferred for me, but if not a deal, is a deal.

Own most of the games that interest me, but may pick up Mantis Burn Racing. Having a hard time deciding whether to buy it for Switch or PS4, though.

Been keeping an eye on Syberia 2. Now seems like a good time to get it.

Possibly should have got Xenoblade 2 DLC when it was on sale at thanksgiving, but will wait until next year ifor I have tone.

@FX102A Technically they do.....through the MyNintendo Rewards program. Okay, you have to spend coins but eh, its not like its hard to get more.

Risky's Revenge has yet to grace the Switch. I do recall last Xmas the Risky Boots DLC for Half Genie Hero got discounted on Wii U, I remember getting that. Pity the rest of the DLC on Wii U didnt get a price cut also...

Its a fine sale, certainly stuff I'd consider picking up.

Besides, it is only the 13th. Who's to say this sale won't have a part 2 next week or even a New Year's follow up?

I may pick up NecroDancer for that price.

There's so much clutter in the Switch eShop that it's easy to miss the gems. Like others pointed out Crypt of the Necrodancer should be an instant get for that price (€3.99/£3.59, -80%). Nine Parchments is very fun and has a great price as well (€5.99/£5.39, -70%).

I haven't played these, but I'm tempted to get Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King and Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle, even though they're not insanely cheap.

Get Hover at half price for sure.

Downloaded Armikrog (on Wii u) and Pan Pan, Count Lucanor, Membrane (couldn't resist the price) and Rive.

I have now also downloaded Mulaka.

That's amazing, 250 games and I don't want any of them.
