Interesting choice for a game lineup here because the only major highlight here for me at least is The X-Men arcade game from Konami cause that's just a good flipping beat em up from the 90's and everything else is just kinda meh to terrible.The spider man and venom games from multiple different reviews of those games that is seen is that their mediocre at best with decent soundtracks. I personally never played them so I don't have much of a say about it but that seems to be the general consensus regarding those games. And lastly you got the god awful ones looking at you Sliver surfer and Arcade's revenge.

I might play this just to see what type of wacky stuff happens since I know that in the original 3DS game you could basically get the Mii's to do almost about anything you could think of. But if I'm being honest here I'm not sure how long i would actually invest into this game since i feel like i would get kinda bored of it after awhile since I've never been to interested in Life Simulation Games. But hey I'm happy for those who enjoy the series 😊 even though it's not really my cup of tea.

So you're telling me that this Gen AI Technology can very easily and very blatantly rip off nintendo properties such as Zelda, But when it comes to something like the Kingdom Hearts series the AI just suddenly refuses to generate that. Man something doesn't add up here, I think they don't want to be sued by Disney or Square Enix but they have a public humiliation fetish by desperately trying to get their butts taken down and sued so hard by Nintendo Ninjas Legal team. I hope that they get sued so hard by nintendo that it activity forces Google it's self to pull the plug on this Genie Software. Bottom Line that I'm trying to say here is DON'T SUPPORT GEN AI .

Friday the 13th (NES) just because I loved seeing AVGN'S reaction to it and how he riffs on it in his video about it.

These watches ⌚️ don't really scream resident evil to me to be honest but hey that's just my own thoughts but other than that they look like decent watches.

April was the month I spent the most time with my switch as I clocked a total of 74 hours mostly playing a hat in time again.

Overall I'd say I had a pretty good 2025 gaming wise I'm predicting the likes of Slime Rancher, Deltarune or Undertale, and Sonic Racing Crossworlds to be my top 3 most played for this year come January of 2027.

I'm more sad about the death of the gold points system because I actually used that all lot more than the game vouchers since i don't have an NSO Subscription yet (and I don't think i ever will tbh) i can sorta understand the reason for the death of it but I'm not sure why these are dying out I'm assuming that it wasn't as popular as gold points mabye idk I'm just speculating here. (I might be a little bit out of the news loop here with this topic)

Nice to see game freak do something non pokémon related every once in a blue moon. This is probably not up my alley but I hope everyone else enjoys it.

I just think it's a bit weird how link is roughly modeled after twilight princess and Zelda is modeled after BOTW because there's are two different games with different art styles but overall this looks pretty good i would have chosen the more modern TOTK and BOTW styles so that could match a bit better but that's just a matter of personal taste.

Hmmm I'm not really sure how I feel about this new design for yoshi because on one hand it looks pretty cool and pretty fateful to the original source material (for the most part) and on the other hand it looks a tad bit uncanny valley vibes mainly in those eyes and something else feels off but I can't really place my finger as to why that is but I just hope that this movie is of a decent quality like the 1st movie if not a little bit better because while I like the 1st one I just hope it adds on to the in movie universe and elevates to the next level like a sequel should do.

I picked the JA version since it's better version mainly because the NA and EU versions have ugly design choices or changes made to them.

I kinda sorta like both versions here but the JA version is my pick for this week because it's just an interesting variant of basically the same cover art as the NA and EU versions mainly because it gives me super animal crossing galaxy vibes lol 😆.

I tried the steam demo a while back ago and instantly loved it i just love the fact that in this game you can select 2 heros at once and swap between them on the fly is so cool I wish more beat em up games did this feature my only complaints are that some of my favorite characters aren't in the roster yet but hey maybe in a future dlc pack or something they could show up.

This was too easy but I can see a few of them being tricky to answer such as the Duck Tails 2 cover.

Honestly both covers are just god awful because there's just tiny little minor details across both covers that just give me so much uncanny valley vibes times 10. For example in the NA/EU cover, the main man of this Franchise Terry looks so bootleg looking in his facial expression it's just so off putting and the guy getting punched in the face his whole backside proportions look werid essentially his neck skin it looks off and I can't place it why it feels wrong looking to me. Now as for Japanese cover same thing but a little less uncanny valley vibes but man those facial expressions on a few of these characters here look so goofy and hard to take it seriously. As for my ultimate pick on this poll, I picked the NA/EU covers despite my criticisms i still think the overall vibe is just pure 90's fighting game energy and I gotta respect it for that.

Why is a controller listed as gaming hardware it's just a controller it's not a game system. Better yet why not just add a best controller category or something like that.

Sometimes people with ai just wanna watch the world burn. I know this is technically classified as a parody but it's still made using Ai and technically doesn't give credit to the original copyright owners so it's kinda bad but not as bad but still Ai has way to many gray areas surrounding it.

I'm waiting for the true virtual boy experience with the new upcoming update to Antonblast and with that new update being added it's basically the same thing as the wario land game for the VB. And also I'm really not interested in the whole NSO service as a whole honestly 😒.

Europe for sure on this one because it's shows a much more colorful and vibrant background which is more in line with what I expect with this game series compared to the boring white background with the red crayon scribbles all over the place in the Japanese version.

@Oldstalk Well yes but digital still has its limits to when it comes to the whole way the digital store fronts are managed these days and all of the constant delistings of games.

I can't wait for this update because I already love this game as it is but this is just incredible i love it when indie dev teams make jabs at werid little niche items as this it brings joy to me since I consider my self a historian when it comes to video games 🎮.

@DonkeyKongBigBoy I honestly will probably keep playing my switch and my other nintendo systems such as my wii and game boy color until they either break or until the world ends because these systems provide so much joy to me personally so why stop playing what you like when something bad or negative happens surrounding it honestly just ignore the bad stuff around systems and just focus on having fun with them .

Honestly both digital and physical items BOTH HAVE LIFESPANS. In terms of digital items it's usually a much shorter lifespan depending on the product in question here if it's something like a licensed game (Examples- The John Wick game that was delisted a while back ago/ The Deadpool game (also sadly delisted)/ The Actvision TMNT games and Transformers games/etc...) it's usually not very surprising when it basically gets deleted from digital store fronts mostly due to the license of what ever franchise (Or music) Game Publisher wants to terminate it for business purposes and etc. Now compare that to physical lifespans which tend to last a while longer if proper care is taken into account when storing these products you get way much more satisfaction knowing that any game publishers or studios can't yank it away from you unless it's over you dead body and, I also honestly feel like Masakazu Sugimori comments here on this very topic are very poorly thought out here .

SMG1 for me because I've played SMG2 already on wii but never got the chance to play the 1st game 🎮 so I'll probably pick it up when there's a decent enough sale going on for it hopefully.

I like the Japanese version because it gives off the late 70s and early 80s action b movie 🎬 vibes to me and also any early contra game with an Arnold look a like is just pure classic contra design right there.

I feel like an honorable mention should go out to both Grapple Dog and it's sequel Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines for the swinging mechanics as it's insanely satisfying using a grappling hook to swing and jump around the levels.

This weekend I'm gonna try to continue my replay through of a hat in time I'm hoping to finish off the dlc areas mainly the metro because that's honestly my favorite area in the game alongside the battle of the birds chapter and the subcon forest. And I mabye try the arctic cruise 🛳 area for a bit.

I didn't really mind the talking flowers in the actual game but I'm not so sure about this thing honestly the fact that they actually made the flowers marketable is honestly kinda strange to me because I feel like it's only gonna attract a very niche group of people who like to own werid nintendo merch like this.

@progx I was talking about the whole era of amiibo as a whole from the intintal starting craze to where we're are now a sorta retrospective if you will.

This is just insane how far we have come with the whole amiibo craze back then they were cool novelty items for collectors and causal gamers now there just kinda there in the store fronts like honestly there's nothing to be excited about anymore with these amiibo announcements especially with the more gimmick heavy ones such as these with the interchangeable base parts and pretty soon nintendo is just gonna run out of ideas to keep the amiibo hype/money train going anymore so I honestly feel like nintendo should just stop with the amiibos cause there just not as cool as they used to be and especially at the insane price point of 50 bucks separately and 100 bucks all together.

What does it mean when the article says "Switch 2 Edition will be fully on the cartridge" does that mean half the games are missing on the switch 1 version because if that's the case then that's a huge no buy for me man.

I already own Galaxy 2 on wii but I have still yet to try out Galaxy 1 at this point it's better to just get both games on will instead of tossing out 70 bones for the collection.

Ok now this has officially gone way to far man it's not like nintendo even invented this certain game mechanic as far as I know but like come on man what's next nintendo is gonna sue every game corporations for using basic general game mechanics or something stupid like that.
