Re: Video: No Matter How Annoyed You Are At Nintendo's E3 2015 Digital Event, You're Not As Annoyed As This Guy

Mrclaycoat

I'm just sad that they look to be dropping main support for the Wii u so fast. Reminds me of the old Sega days when they started losing their fan base's confidence. If you liked Nintendo's E3, good on you, but really there's nothing much to defend here since they didn't really do much of anything anyways (aside from the obvious Metroid Franchise Tarnish) I'm more shocked that they even bothered to make a video.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Nintendo's E3 Digital Event?

@Cyberbotv2 exactly! Whether the wii u is a success or not is now irrelevant. Nintendo needed to keep supporting it so they do not tarnish their brand but that's just what they did. The PS3 had a terrible launch but they addressed the backlash and sucked it up and saved their brand and turned it around. Nintendo has burned their die hard fans time and time again.

Why even bother Nintendo, why even bother. Having no major secret games unveiled kind of solidified Nintendo's lapse into being irrelevant. At least for consoles, as the 3DS still looks to have a healthy amount of games coming. As a Wii U owner, I feel very let down and their inability to salvage this situation has tarnished their brand big time. There are a million things they could have done to fill this massive continuous void of games. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, I gave them patience, but this is my last Nintendo Console sadly. I'm going for the Steam Box I think, unless NX blows me out of the water. Going back to the unveiling video of the Wii U, several features still haven't been implemented which is sad. I love Nintendo, but damn am I disappointed.

Re: Rumour: GameStop No Longer Taking amiibo Preorders, Limiting Sales To One Figure Per Person

Mrclaycoat

I pre-ordered pac-man which was my first amiibo and probably my last. This is being handled so poorly that it's taking all of the fun out of it. What bugs me the most is that stores are selling these for more money now as well. The EB by my house were selling the new wave for $15.99 for some reason. So are even the stores gouging the customers? Again so many small problems leading to my perspective that Amiibos are not fun anymore and I have no time for the drama.

@MrWalkieTalkie that's the one! Thanks. I've never played Minecraft but really want to sink my teeth into it or something similar. Gonna wait to see what this and U craft look like before settling on Minecraft for I Pad since the Wii U is my only current console

Re: Poll: Do Video Game Reviews Need To Have A Score?

Mrclaycoat

I totally agree as many people I know and there fore must think that a significant portion of people will skim the review and look at the score. Leaving the score out kind of coaxes one to actually read the review and decipher if the game is worthwhile for them. Plus sometimes a score number can work against you when compared to another games score.

Re: Review: Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight (Wii U eShop / NES)

Check out AVGN's review of this game, he nails it perfectly. It'd a damn hard game with unlimited lives and it keeps you hooked against your will. You'll keep playing and playing, finally beating a stage only to find the next one to be 10 times harder. I owned it as a kid because of SF2 and was hugely disappointed at first but I had to keep playing and playing and playing. I couldn't let Ken down.

Re: Review: Axelay (Wii U eShop / Super Nintendo)

Funny, I really hated this game on the SNES back in the day. I also owned a Turbo Duo so I'm sure that played some big part in that since the Duo was the shooter king. I remember wanting to love Axelay and playing it over and over but rarely beating the first level and not ever caring. I think I'll pick it up again when it's up for NA since I still think about this one and why I could never get into it.
