This clearly looked unpolished at E3 and when the general reaction didn't seemed too wowed, I'm sure they realized they had to go back to the drawing board. I always figured this wouldn't happen for 2015, I'm guessing May 2016.
@JaxonH Ah that's what I figured, that's for clearing that up for me. I've never played Minecraft so I don't know what I'm missing as of yet but since the Wii U is my main console, I'd rather support either U Craft or Cube life
So is this only a minecraft game in title only? I'm still waiting to see how U Craft fares before grabbing either that or Cube Life. But if this is basically the same thing but with an infused story line...
I still haven't finished little inferno and it's driving me crazy. There's only a few left to solve but I just can't figure them out. Still, it's an amazing game and I cannot wait for this one!
Here's hoping this is a hit in Japan as that's the only region left that's keeping any real momentum for the Wii U. I'll be getting this for sure when it hits Canada.
How I wish the VC was getting Tecmo Super Bowl instead of just old Tecmo Bowl. Man that game still holds up as one of my all time favourite football games
These crappy little games need to realize that "The Letter's" popularity was an anomaly of sorts and was also at $0.50 for a while. It was a fun joke that we all laughed at, like going to a theater screening of "The Room". But now we have tons of these garbage games filling up the E shop which is sad.
@dumedum for me it depends on the game and of course to each their own. Many NES games are truly timeless and untouchable since my childhood but most of them aren't available currently. True some gems are there are also garbage games like Vollyball and Urban Champion which at $4.99 is insane in my humble opinion.
I've bought a couple NES games on the VC but for the most part $4.99 is way to expensive. PS1 games are only $5.99 for the most part on the playstation store with PS2 games at $9.99, now that's a fair price. If Nintendo lowered their prices, more people would buy these games and more people would be happy with the VC, everyone would win.
Sidebar, excite bike world rally is sweet! I played it online all the time!
How I wish "Lords of the Rising Sun" for the Turbo Duo was available on the Wii Virtual Console. One of the true Gems from that system that didn't make it on the VC.
Nintendo just can't seem to do anything without pissing people off. But on the bright side, not making sense and pissing people off is something that they ARE very good at
I just bought a light gun a few weeks back along with Link's crossbow training (awesome garage sale find) so I might grab the wii version but man why is the N64 title $11.99??? I though these were all going to be $9.99? I know it's only two bucks but it seems a bit greedy.
I'm kinda surprised to see Star Fox coming so soon. My gut feeling was that this would be pushed back till after Christmas. The game footage looked a little too unpolished for me. Also no Physical Fatal Frame makes me very sad.
Question. Nintendo is against region free and is also against (for the most part) spending money on porting Japanese games to the rest of the world. Don't these two problems kind cancel each other out if Nintendo just reversed it's thinking?
At the very least I hope Nintendo (if they saw any potential in this game pitch) would work with them to make a great exclusive which is sorely needed since the struggle Nintendo has to remain even relevant is becoming too daunting for any company to endure.
Child of Light is amazing, one of my all time favourites for Wii U! I highly recommend it for that price. But I have a question, for $7.50 is Marvel Avengers worth it? I've heard it's pretty bad but I've only played the 360 version with Kinect which I hated, but maybe with the pad it would fare batter?
I'm just glad it's coming out, I was really looking forward to it. Hopefully there will be a physical release, my fear was that NOA may stick to a digital only similar to all the fearful rumours surrounding Fatal Frame.
I just checked the NOA website and it's still up but showing the old temp cover. Wanna know what's crazy though? Under the info there's a "games you may like" section and Nintendo listed "the letter". DAMN! That's cold blooded NOA!
Yup the indies are the ones offering tons of interesting games now and that's cool with me. Also looking forward to Reven, Ninja Pizza Girl, Hive Jump, Rover and U craft to name but a few.
This will sadly be my last Nintendo system as I've been burned pretty bad by the Wii U. I was a day one buyer, floating high on all the promises that were squandered. The difference between Nintendo and the other two big boys is that Sony and MS have both sucked it up to ensure their fan's support and to save their brand. Song took a HUGE cut on the PS3 and poured money into new games when the system didn't take off and this E3 we saw MS listening to their fans and winning back some hearts and minds. Nintendo has done neither and are now scaling back production on a 2 1/2 year old system. This lack of support is very telling on how they value it's loyal core audience which are really the only people who bought this system. So I'll take the not so subtle hint that I'm not important enough to please (and I'm not asking for much, just some support with games) along with all the failure to do anything decent with all the proposed features that made the system so unique and move on.
Nintendo threw a house party called "Wii U" but instead of adding party favours and games and music and such, they spend the entire time making sure everyone uses a coaster for their drink. Please understand
Reason # 7352 why Nintendo hates success. I'm all for the Miiverse being a safe and happy place, free of vile hatred. In fact that's one of the things I love most about their community as opposed to Sony and Microsoft. But it's HOW they go about it that sucks. They are that parent that despite all their good intentions, just doesn't get it and never will, and the children suffer oh my how they suffer. Won't someone please think of the children!!!
I'm going to agree that with the current price, everyone should get this game! It's really great and the local multiplayer is some of the best the Wii U has to offer. King off the Zombies rule!
I think it's more that Nintendo doesn't make the kind of games that would compliment VR to the extent of Sony and Microsoft. I think VR has great potential to rule the kingdom one day just not the mushroom kingdom
Fast Racing Neo was a huge surprise for me! That will be a day one purchase for me, just so confused why Nintendo decided NOT to talk about it during the digital event. Maybe they didn't want people looking at a new Wii U that actually has energy and excitement that trumped everything they announced?
Nintendo can do what it wants with their franchises that is true, just like George Lucas could add as many aliens as he wanted with his Star Wars movies. Fanboys still ate it up at the box office and similar types will eat this game up too. In fact the game might actually be a lot of fun sure. Problem is, George Lucas became irrelevant as he ignorance for what his fans wanted went to far and Nintendo just accomplished this as well. They've been testing the patience of Wii U owners since day one, and sooner or later fans will leave. And die Hard fans are a stubborn bunch, once they leave, they don't come back. And that's the real problem for me. Not just this one game, but the presentation as a whole cannot be compared to any other event at E3 this year what they represented didn't evoke any significant positive reaction. MICROSOFT- We have tons of exclusives, third party games and the Hallowlens! SONY-We have tons of great exclusives, third party support and yes we listened to our fans, FF7 remake in full HD! NINTENDO- We have Mario Tennis and an Animal Crossing Board Game and an empty release calendar for 2016!

Re: Nintendo Download: 10th September (North America)
@Caryslan It's also sad when there are more classic N64 games on the Xbox One than the Wii U and for a tiny fraction of the price.
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th September (North America)
@rdrunner1178 As long as the gameplay was the same, I'd be happy to play as the Buffalo Warriors or the San Francisco Tigers!

Re: Double Dose Of Sin & Punishment Arrives On North American Wii U Virtual Console Tomorrow
@VR32F1END I know it is in Canada. The VC cost is probably going to be $24.99 (INSANE!) and I just remembered I saw a used copy for $14.99 complete.
