Being portable (I don't own a vita) is more than enough reason to own it. Plus, it's a new chance for the game to thrive since not everybody owned the Wii U.

Well...this changes things.

Even when Miiverse had its restrictions, I'll always remember seeing those amazing drawings and the Earthbound protest was the stuff of legend. I'll never forget that.

It's a real shame but this was inevitable. RIP Miiverse. You made stamps so fun.

Now I need to watch the new anime, pronto!

It's a dang shame about the game. The fact this could've been good but hampered by crippling issues really sucks. I hope this doesn't become a regular thing with the Switch. People need to start delaying their games if this is going to be the final product. Just awful.

I have hope it will be good on the Switch. Given how it's portable, that can only be a good thing.

I won't hold my breath if it doesn't occur but on the other hand, it would be nice to have portable HD Kingdom Hearts 3.

Rage Quitters in online games are the worst. They make me so angry when they make the match shut off and it annoyed me in the original too...

In an age where console games have been made playable on portable systems and running properly, there is no excuse. They should be able to work around hurdles and make it enjoyable for a system like the Switch.

From what I've seen, the game looks gorgeous and a ton of fun but I can't stand the cheapo mobile shovelware-like icon. It makes the game look bad which is undeserving even for any other game.

To be honest, I'm not too sure what to make of it. I'll stay cautious of it and just wait for an official announcement.

At least they're more honest than the No Man's Sky crew. Still, a real shame. Portable fun is a major plus for any game in my book.

Don't get me wrong. I want the SNES mini and the selection is way better than what the NES mini had (EARTHBOUND!) even though I like that system but when you have Star Fox 2 on there, you just know this thing will sell like hotcakes.

Speaking of which, I'm going to attempt to pre-order the system elsewhere.

I mean, it has all the others I ever wanted (Earthbound!!!) but yippee!!!

Honestly, while these choices are pretty cool, I can't hep but want to see characters like Rayman make the cut for a Smash game. His moveset is already good to go like the moves of Origins and Legends and people have been wanting to see him as a fighter for years.

That trophy was amazing in Smash 4 but it feels like a cop-out. I really want him in alongside other characters.

Given what I've seen of Nintendo's Metroid 2 remake, I have no doubt it will be a cool game, especially the special edition.

That said, while I get what Reggie's trying to say, it was purely non-profit in spite of it being downloadable online. It's kind of foolish that he assumed it was for profit. Really not the best of choice words.

Also, looking forward to the Animal Crossing app.

I love the Japanese language. Such a beautiful language. Also, I should keep an eye (pun not intended) on what Sega's doing.

Even though I plan on keeping the fan-game on my PC (it was a cool fan-game), I'm going to buy this and Metroid Prime 4 so I can support the franchise and the fact we're getting them at all is amazing.

Sony doing that is beyond stupid. They should really reconsider their decision.

Pokken DX took me by surprise. I will admit them bringing the former arcade exclusives to consoles is awesome. Croagunk is a fan favorite of mine.

The "Ultra Sun/Moon" announcement was a bit disappointing since I thought they'd be a cool release on the Switch. Still getting it though because it looks nice.

The VC stuff was cool. I should totally get those. Iwata made those games even better. I should totally get them.

I'm a simple gamer. I see Croagunk. I want it.

Seriously though, portable Pokken with extra stuff is always fun.

This is part of why people hate EA. Their lack of respect to the consumer and their horrible track record with Nintendo. There is no excuse. I won't buy this out of a want for better ports.

This is disgraceful. Activision is better than them by virtue of actually releasing games consistently on Nintendo systems. Absolutely embarrassing I should even say that at all.

Team Fake. The screenshots don't look right. Something looks off about them. ANYONE can make fake screenshots these days.

I love this series. It's one of my all time favorites and to see someone who can no longer see be able be have so much fun with the games, write a letter to the company who made them and get a touching response is really sweet. I hope he does get to experience more in life and is safe and happy.

Honestly, as much as the novelty of collecting badges was fun for a short while, the way Nintendo handled it made it get old and really cheap not long after. After all the negative reception the game has received, I feel it would be tone-deaf to release a sequel to this on the Switch.

This game looks and feels stunning. I must get my hands on this gorgeous looking game.

In all honesty, I'll just play the game when it comes out and hopefully enjoy it. I flat-out don't trust reviewers anymore. They're either pretentious hypocrites (cough*jimsterling*cough) or lying people who refuse to research like a lot of YouTubers. That and scores with decimals are horrible.

I'll give this a try, especially since it's coming to the Wii U.

Even though I never had the game pledged on Kickstarter, I already preordered it on PS4 but I want that sweet Nintendo portable goodness so I'll just wait until they show a release date. Really excited for this game!

Games are games. I don't care if they're "AAA", third party or indie. If they're proven to be well made and fun, that's all that matters. I just want games.

Personally, I'm fine with what's coming out. Given what games are coming out, Christmas will be a good time for consoles.

The funds thing is nice but aside from the basics, the lack of VC at launch is so disappointing. I'll probably be getting the Switch around Christmas so hopefully, it'll be there.

My hope is that the game is good before I worry about the DLC. Too many games have come out released in a broken state and I hope this isn't the case for this.

While I like that I can play with people around the world online, there's an inherent loneliness to playing only online. Since I can't play with friends at home (they live far away), I usually don't bother.

However, it's nice when developers give the option for local multiplayer so I can feel happy playing with friends when I can. It's a good feeling.

I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't get this. I've bought a ton of DLC from Nintendo and I've enjoyed a lot of it. Besides, complaining about it would make me look like a hypocrite since I do buy DLC, I want to support the creators and I like what's being offered mostly.

Let's just see what's in store before we assume things.

There are other devices that do it a lot better and Nintendo's systems I feel like might be wasting precious resources that can go into making better games.

I buy Nintendo consoles to play games, not be a half-baked iPad.
