@Vriess They did fix it. It's a lot better now. That's why they call it "Back from Hell". I have it on Steam but will buying it again on Switch. It's a really fun game with some great art.
I started this game awhile back on PC and got bored with it after 10ish hours. I'm a huge Dark Souls/Zelda/Witcher 3 fan and I'm looking for a dark fantasy on the Switch. I'm gonna give this game another shot.
If anyone is looking for a good rougelike for the Switch, I recommend picking up NeuroVoider. NL did a review on it awhile back and I picked it up this weekend and really enjoy it.
Phantom Trigger is the standout deal on that list. I picked this up on release and really enjoyed it. However, the combat is pretty hard and very repetitive.
That’s a pretty weak sale besides the discount on Phantom Trigger. I really liked that game and would recommend to anyone into tough combat games. The game is very repetitive but has a cool atmosphere and rhythm to it.
Wow, that score is a lot lower than I would rate this. If you like tactical twin stick shooters I’d pick this up. The gameplay isn’t as smooth as something like Nex Machina but it’s still a solid game with interesting weapons and mods.
@Kingrat I've encountered all those glitches you mentioned and I'm hoping they can patch those soon.
Despite the bugs, I'm really enjoying this game. I've never played Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, or Rune Factory but I absolutely love this. I'm usually a fan of action games, but this game is so much fun. I recommend it to anyone who likes video games.
That's awesome. For some reason I couldn't get into the first game, but I have been loving the sequel! I'm gonna go back to the original after I finish. This game is so good.
Fine with me. The multiplayer was pretty much trash in this anyway. The campaign was cool though. I'd recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it, but I won't be buying this again.
I'm 15 hours in and really enjoying this game. Trying to get "perfect" on each level has been a good amount of challenge for me, and it lengthens the gameplay.
I get bored of the map rotation/mode in about 20 minutes, but I can play Overwatch for hours because I'm not playing the same map/mode every match. The map/mode rotation thing is really annoying in Splatoon. I can't believe it's still here.
I was going to import MHXX but after watching more reveals of MH World I just lost interest and didn't feel like doing the grind again with the language barrier. I still might pick this up after playing more games in my backlog though.
Yes! I never remove my joycons. I either play in handheld mode or with a Pro Controller. If I had a joycon with a D pad I would just click it in and never remove it.
As long as those Murphy levels aren't in this, I'll pick it up. The WiiU version was really annoying and those levels killed the pace of the game for me.

I just played the demo and it's pretty fun. I'll be picking up the full game when it releases and this should hold me over til MHWorld comes out. I have a feeling once MHWorld hits, I won't want to play a localized version of MHXX

Re: Nintendo Reveals the Ages of Pearl and Marina
One time, in the final Turf War aerial picture, I saw Jesus’ face in the paint and he said it’s ok to be straight or gay. So now you now.
Re: Nintendo Download: 30th November (North America)
I'll pick up Nine Parchments but I'm still pretty engrossed in Skyrim and don't see myself closing that game for awhile.

Great news. Just in time for a Mario
Re: Review: JYDGE (Switch eShop)
Wow, that score is a lot lower than I would rate this. If you like tactical twin stick shooters I’d pick this up. The gameplay isn’t as smooth as something like Nex Machina but it’s still a solid game with interesting weapons and mods.
Re: Nintendo Download: 19th October (North America)
I’ll be picking up Jydge. I regretted buying Hyrule Warriors so I’ll pass on the Fire Emblem version. The combat just gets too spammy and repetitive.
Re: The Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Ultra Challenge Pack DLC is Now Live
as much as i loved the main game, i think i got my fill. i'll pass on this now but might pick it up in the future.
Re: Review: Tiny Barbarian DX (Switch)
Meanwhile Cuphead is selling for $20. There's no way I'd pay $30 for this game.
Re: Feature: Nintendo Life eShop Selects - September 2017
Steamworld Dig 2 has been one of my favorite games on the Switch. I recommend this to anyone.
Re: Feature: The Biggest Nintendo Switch Retail Games of 2017 - Fall / Winter Edition
Just Odyssey and indies for me. I already own the Bethesda ports. Still looking forward to a Hollow Knight release date.

great tips. thanks. i'd love to see a video on how to fish. i can't get the hang of this at all.
Re: Nintendo Download: 5th October (North America)
Tough decisions to make here. I'm debating between Stardew Valley, Axiom Verge, and Earth Atlantis.
Re: Stardew Valley Arrives on the Switch eShop This Week
I've never played a game like this before, I'll pick it up and give it a shot. Seems like the perfect fit for the Switch.
Re: SteamWorld Dig 2 Has Had the Biggest Launch in the IP's History
That's awesome. For some reason I couldn't get into the first game, but I have been loving the sequel! I'm gonna go back to the original after I finish. This game is so good.
Re: Thumper Gets a 25% Discount on the Switch eShop
This is such a cool, creepy, lonely feeling game.
Re: Retail Version of DOOM on Switch Will Need a Download for Online Multiplayer
Fine with me. The multiplayer was pretty much trash in this anyway. The campaign was cool though. I'd recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it, but I won't be buying this again.
Re: Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Is Coming To Switch In 2018
This was a surprise to me. I'll probably pick these up on PC, but it's nice to see the support for the Switch.

Re: Ubisoft Developer Davide Soliani On "Pushing The Limit" With Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
I just played through the first hour or so and really dig this game! If you think you might like this, chances are you will. It's a lot of fun.
Re: Nintendo Confirms a New Nindies Showcase Presentation for 30th August
Hollow Knight release date? I've been patiently holding off from buying this on PC but don't know how much longer I can wait...
Re: Soapbox: Seriously Nintendo, It's Time For A Switch Joy-Con With A Proper D-Pad
Yes! I never remove my joycons. I either play in handheld mode or with a Pro Controller. If I had a joycon with a D pad I would just click it in and never remove it.
Re: Video: Digital Foundry Compares Monster Hunter XX on Switch and 3DS
@JaxonH Thanks. I'll give this a try.
Re: Video: Digital Foundry Compares Monster Hunter XX on Switch and 3DS
@JaxonH do you have a link with some info on how to do a MHgen transfer save to Japanese?
Re: Review: Phantom Trigger (Switch eShop)
Nice review. I've been enjoying my time with this game, but I really dig these types of games.
Re: The Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition Demo is Live, For Real This Time
As long as those Murphy levels aren't in this, I'll pick it up. The WiiU version was really annoying and those levels killed the pace of the game for me.
Re: Curve Digital Confirms Two Games for the Switch eShop
Wow, I don't like survival games but I'll be picking up The Flame in Flood based on the art alone.
Re: Poll: 99 Games and Counting - Are You Pleased With the Switch eShop Library?
This month was the first time I found myself happy with the shop and finding more games in the shop than I have time to play. It was a little dry at the beginning, but it's getting a nice catalog now. I just picked up Phantom Trigger a couple days and I'm really enjoying that.
Re: Video: See the Big Difference Between Monster Hunter XX on Switch and 3DS

Re: Editorial: Nintendo, Somehow, Has Gone Backwards With Voice Chat on the Switch
So it sounds like NL would give this app a 9/10
Re: Boost Beast Arrives On Switch eShop Tomorrow
@Biff_ARMStrong man, your comments are getting more and more annoying everyday
Re: Boost Beast Arrives On Switch eShop Tomorrow
hmm... should i get this or Splatoon 2?
Re: The Nintendo Switch Online App Is Now Available for Download
The app is just a list of your friends phone #'s. That way you can just call them and talk on the phone while you play.
Re: Review: Splatoon 2 (Switch)
@Biff_ARMStrong or get a PS4 or PC and play good games?
Re: Review: Splatoon 2 (Switch)
@Biff_ARMStrong you're probably playing it wrong and bad at it
Re: Review: Splatoon 2 (Switch)
I'm really looking forward to this, but a 10? Really? Come on.
Re: Phantom Trigger is Bringing Hardcore Neon Slashing Action to Nintendo Switch
wow, this looks way too similar to Hyper Light Drifter, but I'll still get it.
Re: Kamiko Passes 110,000 Sales as Developers Make Progress on Picontier for Nintendo Switch
Kamiko was fine. Very derivative, but the game was short enough that it didn't wear out it's welcome.
Re: Reminder: The Castlevania Netflix Series is Available Now
I just watched the 4 episodes that are available and really liked it. Are they adding more soon?
Re: Feature: Nintendo Life eShop Selects - June 2017
