How hard up are WiiU owners for games - that they're willing to pay for this game? This looks almost exactly the same as the Wii version.

I'm glad I'm not a fan of this series. They are really milking this game for every cent they can. On the other hand, if From Software was doing something like this with a game, I would be giving them every cent I had, so to each their own.

Nice. The 64 was the best for 1v1. The prize drops and the way the shells behaved was perfect for 1v1. I'm looking forward to a US release

I'm glad you liked this game but I got tired of Bayonetta 2 pretty quickly. Towards the end it got to be very monotonous. The camera controls are also pretty bad and walking around between fights is really annoying. The music is really bad too. Again, I'm glad many if you liked this, but there's too many aspects of this game I didn't enjoy.

@Morph I didn't like Dig either but I love this game. I think they're two completely different games. The only similarity I've found is their visual style. I highly recommend this.

What did it for me was, "But even with its irritatingly slow cutscenes, its immature objectification of women, and its determination to keep players away from its best moments for as long as it can..." Those are my biggest problems with JPRG's, so that's why I'm staying away from this one.

I'm not sure why this game deserves to be higher up? I haven't read any raving reviews besides NintendoLife's. I won't be buying this game because I don't like JRPG's and spending so much time with one doesn't sound like an enjoyable time at all. If the reviews were better I might be inclined to purchase the game. Most of the reviews that I read and value all say that there might be a good game there, but it's buried beneath a lot of annoyances. That's not the kind of game I want to spend a 100+ hours with. I'm glad many of you like the game, but saying it deserves better? The people have spoken.

I'm loving this game! It finally gave me a reason to play my 3ds again.

@donkeymonkey It adds a little, I think they make good use of it. The 3d is really good though.

I love how people are complaining about people complaining about the lackluster HD port. Everyone, it's ok to not like everything Nintendo does, and it's ok to talk about it.

This was was one of my favorite Zelda games, but this looks pretty ugly. The dated animation really stands out against the HD graphics (which look pretty bad too). Still, I'd pick it up for $20

I've been working through Bloodborne this month. What a great Halloween title. Super Castlevania IV is another great game for Halloween.

I just bought the game and its good dumb fun,but it just made me wish I was playing BroForce instead

@Noelemahc yeah, exactly what I thought. I still might get this for when I'm itching for Broforce on the go. however, this doesn't look nearly as good as BroForce, which is awesome.

Well deserved. This is by far my favorite game on the 3ds.

I just got an email with 3 codes (I'm in NA). I have 2 friends with a 3ds and we might check it out. If I don't end up using it I'll share it here.

Nintendo continues to disappoint.

@JaxonH There's good platformers on other consoles (including Steam): Super Time Force Ultra, BroForce, Odullus: The Dark Call, Super Meat Boy, Axiom Verge... to name a few. Nintendo consoles have the most, but there's still a lot of other good ones out there.

@TG1 other reviews have been bad too. Destructoid gave it a 5.5

Wow. This looks great. I had to stop playing 4 after 400 hours because it was too consuming. After a nice break I'm looking forward to playing this... Man... I thought 4 was a deep game. This looks insane.

This looks great. The camera is a little to close to Link for my taste, I don't think I could play this for too long without getting a headache. Nice work though.

@Psyborg yeah, 2015 was pretty bad. I'd be pretty frustrated if the WiiU was my only way of playing games. Like another poster said, it's almost like Nintendo has taken advantage of the consumer. "Thanks for purchasing the WiiU, see you later. We're gonna go work on other stuff."

Great article. I think the a Wii U is on it's way out too. During these past months I've been able to satisfy my gaming through the PC with Steam, but now with Mario Maker out I'm back on the WiiU. But the future looks really dim. I have no interest in Xenoblade or Tennis and will probably be getting a PS4 soon. I'm looking forward to seeing what Nintendo comes out with next.

I just finished the Gogmazios quest and man, that's a long one. It took our group of 4 a couple of tries with multiple carts by one, but we got it in the end. It'll take awhile to get the armor...

@Aryx Have you seen any of the levels that people are creating with this? That's what the hype is about. I really don't get why you're not hyped about this game.

I've been playing with the update and have encountered no problems so far. I still prefer playing on the WiiU, but the 3ds is good for on the go.

Splatfest is a good reason to try out new weapons. Playing mostly Ranked Mode I seem to stick to my trusty Splattershot Pro.

@crimsontadpoles I agree. i didn't like the demo at all. the controls just didn't click with me at all, granted I only gave it 15 min or so, but I really didn't enjoy it at all.

Hard pass. There's so many better FPS out there, why stoop to this one?

@Kirk There's lots of retro style new games, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, Xeodrifter, Binding of Issac: Rebirth, are a few that come to mind. If you have Steam or PS4 check out, Odallus the Dark Call and BroForce

This game had the best vs. mode (1 on 1, no comp players) of them all. Such a great game.

Oh man, MH3U is tempting, but I play too much MH4U as it is

The game has froze twice on me. The second time I was able to start off where it froze. I ended up buying this on WiiU shortly after and enjoy playing it more on the WiiU. I like the controls a lot more on the WiiU.
