hmmmm it could signal a possible pikmin movie by illumination. Expanding the nintendo cinematic universe... miyamoto looooves pikmin they are his second baby. I could see him wanting to do a bigger pikmin movie that ties into the mario universe they've established.

Air ride was an all time classic for me as a kid and seeing it return makes me happy but honestly for 20 years it doesn’t seem to have enough evolution to make me justify 70$ it’s almost just like a souped up version of a 20year old game. There should’ve been more city trial levels, and other large modes. Perhaps even an adventure mode.

To make this work Sega would need at least 5-10 killer games at launch for a new system to make it worth it. I need to say, "wow if i purchase that console I'll get years worth of epic content I could get lost in." Its gotta be something like
-Major 3d sonic title
-Major 2d sonic title
-Space harrior (think star fox 64 style)
-Crazy Taxi (mix of gta/tony hawk)
-Yakuza game that slaps
-Skies of Arcadia 2
-Phantasy star on par with Final Fantasy 7 remake
-Echo the dolphin (abzu style)
-Super Monkey Ball maker(like mario maker)
-Golden Axe remake (skyrim style)
-Sega smash bros

This was rumored like last year, but glad it’s finally coming. I’m assuming this was made by the odyssey team. If so that’s awesome, definitely has a similar vibe. Hope it’s a meaty game!

No matter how hard the industry tries. Physical copies are the only way. Otherwise you own nothing. Nintendo can decide at any moment to close them down and make them unavailable.

Happy they are implementing the desired card feature. That was something that I’m pretty sure was in diamond and pearl DS back in 2007. Wild they needed player feedback to realize this.

@Daniel36 I always saw this game as a piece of art you explore. It's primary gameplay in the storyline is mostly fly to planet get/do thing fly to another planet. I will say most of the progression lies in getting resources so you can trade them at space stations for money so you can upgrade your spaceship.

i think this is a perfect example of the modern cinema tropes. lets see, we got our hockey macho dumb man turned feminine. Cute/creepy cgi creatures meant to incite laughs, young boss girl who knows more than adults, mgmt music in trailer, jack black... not that it's bad... but its definitely exhaustive

Gaming is such a different experience form music and video... They hold our memories, our experiences, our childhoods. If I can't watch a movie, whatever thats 2 hours ill miss out on but If I can't play games like paper mario because it's online only I would be so upset. That game is so near and dear to me.

@PinderSchloss Not true look at movies like Wall-E or the Artist. There are plenty of ways to artistically portray a silent protagonist on screen. If link turns into a wise cracking marvel-type-hero its gunna be hella cringe for everyone
