Re: Sega Announces New Sonic X Shadow Generations Manga, Here's A First Look

@Samalik
Mario 64: not a pack in game.
Mario Sunshine: not a pack in game.
Mario Galaxy: not a pack in game.
Mario Galaxy 2: not a pack in game.
Mario Odyssey: not a pack in game.

The only Mario pack in games since the SNES years have been either NSMB or Mario Kart games, which both reflect that by having far higher sales numbers than the 3D Mario games. Mario Kart Wii sold 37 million copies and MK8 has sold 62 million. New Super Mario Bros. Wii has sold 30 million. I might add, Sonic being multi-platform should be an advantage, which it just isn't.

Also, we're not talking in terms of money. We're talking about units sold.

@Samalik WTF is Made in Abyss? I've never even heard of it. And something tells me from how unstable you sound, I don't want to know.

Also, VGChartz says Sonic Frontiers only sold 3.5 million copies. Sonic 2 way back in 1992 sold 6 million.

Edit- Check your facts, dude. Sonic Frontiers is the best-selling 3D Sonic game: https://gamerant.com/sonic-frontiers-best-seller-3d-games-record-milestone/

Also, compare that to ANY 3D Mario game. Odyssey sold 27 million units. 64 and Galaxy sold 12 million units each. Galaxy 2 sold 7 million units. Hell, Sunshine, yes, SUNSHINE sold over 5 million units.

Re: Poll: Do You Prefer Fire Emblem: Three Houses Or Engage?

Maulbert

@heisnbrg Suggesting the dating sim aspect isn't a form of gameplay is insulting. If you don't like it, okay, but that doesn't make it not gameplay. Fire Emblem is fundamentally a combination of Tactical RPG and Dating Sim. If you take either away, it ceases to be Fire Emblem in all but name. You can get plenty of Tactical RPG's without the dating sim aspect. Those are not Fire Emblem.

Re: Nintendo Expands 'Controller Button Collection' In Japan With SNES, N64 & GameCube Keychains

Maulbert

The Gamecube controller is the most overrated controller ever made. The face button layout is absurd, the Z button is garbage, the C stick is a sorry excuse for a second stick, and the d-pad is way too small.

A few nostalgic fools act like it's god's gift to gaming, when it was a porting nightmare for any 3rd party software, meanwhile, they praise it for Smash Bros. while Smash Bros. plays absolutely dandy with a standard controller.

Re: Talking Point: As A Nintendo Fan, Do You Really Need To Play The Virtual Boy?

Maulbert

@Banks You questioned my 'no' response, then claimed we said the same thing when we did not.

No one NEEDS to play it just because they're a Nintendo fan. That was the question in the title, you're trying to twist the question into desire. Now, I'm not going to reply again, because I was never interested in discussing the merits of the Virtual Boy. I was just answering a question.
