I don't consider paying full price for a Sonic game lucky. Maybe I'll look into it in a few months when it goes on sale. No Sonic game has ever been worth the MSRP, IMO.

I'm not really nostalgic for Blockbuster, my main memory of them is when they drove all the independent video stores out of business in my hometown. Those were the rental stores I grew up with.

@Ryu_Niiyama Nintendo never could have made a series out of Doki Doki Panic, and it would have remained obscure and never been released in the west without Mario, because Fuji TV owned the characters, and it was made as a cross-promotion for them.

The complaints here aren't from people who want something better. They're from people who don't want to give up something as useful as the dupe glitches for figurative in-game pennies they could easily find for themselves just playing the game.

@Ryu_Niiyama If someone likes his stuff, fine, it's just, he's got like maybe 4 faces he can draw, and maybe 6-8 character trait designs he can mix and match. I admit, I don't care for DBZ, but this issue is prevalent in everything he does. I honestly think if Dragon Quest wasn't so popular in Japan, he wouldn't be so venerated.

@calbeau No, it's the equivalent of someone offering you a nickel, but you'll only get it if you give up $1,000,000. The dupe glitch is invaluably useful. I can get a free version of their 'gift' anytime I want in the game.

Unpopular opinion: Akira Toriyama is not a very good artist. There are so many manga artists with a better style than him.

@ear_wig RDR2 had it's moments, but I really feel Rockstar spent too much time worrying about realism instead of just delivering a fun game. The first one is just more fun.
