Having to adjust the camera every time I use thebow and no inducation how many Koroks a level has or if I found them all bothers me much more. The motion control bow in general is hortible if I'm not sitting up while playing, which I am not at least half of the time.

We're not on Twitter here. I typically don't take the entire internet into account when I comment on comments on a specific site.
100% agree that Twitter is a hellhole that has twisted justified upset over things beyond all reason though. You can't even look at Animal Crossing pictures without coming across some douchebag who tries to guilt you into joining the screamer ranks. (Maintaining the point that screames on the other side who feel attacked by disapprovement of inappropriate behavior are just as ridiculous.)
It's always interesting how the only ones who make a big deal out of things like this are the ones endlessly going on about "drama" and "everyone's too sensitive lol", while the supposedly oversensitive people mostly just say it's inappropriate and move on.
Plenty of people who bought the Switch for this particular reason do understand the point. He's one person who doesn't. So why does anyone think he's qualified to judge whether it's a good idea?
Okay, I skipped the Mario collection mostly because I'm not super interested in 3D platformers, but this I am very tempted to ignore ONLY because of the limited release BS. Feel free to limit physical copies if you must, but there's no reason to do the same with downloads other than putting pressure on people.
Until you have to subscribe to sixteen different services to be able to play everything you want because everyone and their mother has exclusive games.
Actually, a one time purchase to keep the game forever without additional costs is still the best options for me as a gamer, but then again, maybe that's because I don't "consume" games.
I like to have as much of a game as possible on physical carts, so it would make sense to buy this if I ever want Sword for my collection, but dear Arceus are these covers ugly.
Oh cool, more things I can't order because I cannot use the Paypal account linked to my Nintendo account to pay for them and none of the very few credit cards I have access to work on the site.
"It doesn't help that the word is used to advertise products which are often garish or needlessly adorned with vents, neon trim and the like. Not always, of course, but generally the 'gamer' version of anything will have gaudy LEDs embedded somewhere and an edgy name: 'X-TREME' or something with numbers and a 'Z' in it."
I wonder if that's a leftover of pretty much all 90s toys being like that.
Personally I thought "beating" a game meant finishing the main mode/campaign or doing whatever triggers the credits, and "completing" meant doing all the extra stuff as well, like optional bosses (but not necessarily things you need to 100% the game like all collectibles or achievements)
I loved the first game and just got back into Fire Emblem Warriors (3DS because I got that one first). Looks like instead of moving on to the Switch version, I'll take this one.
All this limited release business does is make me feel pressured, and that's the fastest way for me to lose interest. I considered giving these games a chance, but not like this.
@SwitchVogel I'm assuming UK and US, right? The more I read about this game's multiplayer and what does and doesn't seem to work, the more I'm completely baffled at how messed up a game can be.
"I played a session with Alex for the review period (no idea how that worked, thought there was region lock...)"
This sounds like you can either play with friends regardless of region, with the region lock only affecting random matchmaking (does that even exist?), or English-speaking regions count as one region. Could someone with the game look into this?
So instead of normal matchmaking I have to hope that at least three friends with the game are online and want to play at the same time, ir hunt down someon else's code somewhere on the internet and hope that other peopke find it at the same time as me before it expires. Or join yet another out of game community.
Looks like I'll stick to the free version for good. If I pay for a game that's a few too many hoops to jump through.

Preordered already, but I don't mind being able to play a bit of the game early.

I probably won't because I hate the covers, but it's good that people who buy games used will have a complete option.
Re: Review: Super Mario Bros. 35 - A Six-Month Jolt Of Life For An Iconic Classic

Re: Koei Tecmo Brings Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires To Switch Early Next Year
@Rexenoboy
From what I've gathered Empires has its own gameplay structure, I'd see that more as a spinoff game than another version.
Re: Koei Tecmo Brings Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires To Switch Early Next Year
Do the Empires games tend to get Ultimate/Deluxe/whatever versions? That's the one thing that really puts me off buying KT games.
