Funny they said that because I was interested before, but battle passes are the second fastest way to kill my entire interest in a game and spit on its grave.
It might have been a joke, but I just started playing Ocarina of Time for the first time and the "overworld" (really just a hub room) is the single most annoying overworld I've ever encountered. It makes me actively avoid traveling between places and exploring, which is kind of the opposite of what I want to feel in a Zelda game (usually I go wherever I can as soon as I can, and take note of intetesting places, here I'm just like "eh, I'll come back later when I have all the tools")
Without the novelty of being the first 3D Zelda with a generous helping of nostalgia, I really don't see the hype.
Patents aside, it's starting to look like I'll have to skip this one. I'm already incapable of aiming at moving targets in BotW when I am not moving myself.
Every time I read and article like this, or that people can't do mothing for ten minutes without getting seriously nervous or thatmore specific thing about how people with glucose monitors getting too stressed out should "only" check every 15 minutes, my brain just nopes out. I'm not even that old. But apparently I'm mentally lagging behind so much that I never even entered that mindset and thus can't comprehend it at all. It's just sad that people have to be (re)taught to figuratively breathe.
But people can pay full price for renting a game that requires a constant good internet connection to be playable and can be pulled anytime they want, that's not too much money of course.
There's really just two or three people in here who don't think he's serious? The only person I've ever seen word things like this without it being an intentional joke was a certain ex-president.
I played both of them and actually considered getting a cheap copy of the second game for replays. Now both in a bundle would have been better, or even a sequel with the less tedious café management from the second game and better combat systems from the first.
The fangirl in me is pleased. Now I'd like Astor to be the last playable character because this game lacks magic movesets, Sooga seems more likely and I'm don't have faith that it will be either of them until it's confirmed.
Hard to say as I don't have the focus to actually listen to anything for more than half an hour or so, so anything that isn't obnoxiously grating* fades into background music really fast.
*I have managed to "listen" to Hong Kong 97 for an hour because apparently I can even tune that out. Don't question me, it was a bet.
I have to admit I have not played a single one of these games, not even the originals. So obviously I can't say anything about quality, but Wind Waker would be the one I have the most interest in (not buying another console just for Zelda games though)
It was always like that for me. If the stars aligned just right I could get one hit at the local train station sometimes, and this isn't the smallest town in existence. A huge international event where I passed approximately 60.000 people got me a whole three hits.
Though if demand means I have to buy them first on a platform I don't care about just so I can buy them again where I actually want them, not really. And either way this feels like those Atlus surveys pretending not to know what people want. Offer the product I want and I'll buy it, or don't and I won't, and get your kick out of of people begging elsewhere.
I think this is the first time I was disappointed, and I didn't even expect anything. Other than the AoC characters being the ones who were prominently featured in the DLC promo material so far, but I guess even that was too much to hope for?
@West3DP That's the image from the trailer, but NoE shared the new one with the red backgrounds on Twitter today and they also say "expanded roster" so that was likely just an error specific to the NoA one.
Still on the fence about the Void Terrarium DLC. It's kinda expensive for what you get, but I haven't been this invested in many games lately and I want to support it...

Looks like they don't even ship to Europe. Would it kill them to make their game available to more than a handful of people?

I don't prepare. I'll see if there's new stuff I want to use and use it when I have it.
Re: Pokémon Legends: Arceus Won't Actually Be An Open-World Game
I'll have to wait and see what exactly we can do in the game. The wild area was one of my least favorite things in the whole series.

Not the entire ocean. I already have weird issues with being in/near open water in 3D games. A few lakes here and there if you really have to at most.

It's only out in Japan so far. We can download but not play it yet.
Still wondering why they picked a character based on a generic enemy type over characters people wanted playable pretty much since release.

Re: Switch Users Report Problem With Error 2123-1502 Following System Update Issues
Same problem. Whatever they did to fix it is unfortunately also 12.0.3 so we're stuck with the faulty one for a while.
At least I've had no issues playing games. But do fix this mess before you drop E3 stuff, please and thank you.
